José and Barbara arrived as scheduled and power washed, sanded, scraped, applied primer and 2 coats of Sherwin Williams paint. They were very efficient and did a professional job. The final result was TERRIFIC! I was so pleased that I scheduled to have my deck and screened porch cleaned and stained.

The work by Painting and Moore (Jon Moore, owner) went great. Saul and his crew were on-time, efficient and completed the various jobs on-time at a reasonable cost. The cost to paint the three doors was about $330 (roughly $110 per door both sides including the trim). The cost to paint the shutters (there were 24 individual shutters or 12 pair) which cost $500. The shutters remained on the house while painting occurred that required them to be on ladders. The Pressure wash was $325.00. The Pressure wash involved several different steps (both low and high pressure).

From the very start, everything about Painting and Moore was professional. Corey, our project manager, was awesome. He came out and within an hour or so provided a VERY detailed quote of the proposed work. We had gotten several other quotes and none compared to the level of detail or price given to us from Corey. The crew, headed by Saul, was on time, cleaned up every day and paid attention to the smallest details. We changed the front doors from a stain to a solid black, and Saul did this himself-he said the doors needed "love". (Saul is the bomb!) Corey kept in constant communication with us throughout the job, letting us know if there was a delay due to inclement weather and also what was to be done on any particular day. We can't say enough about Painting and Moore-the quality of the work, reasonable price and great communication were all exemplary. We won't use anyone else for any other painting or pressure washing job. (Forgot to mention they cleaned and caulked the entire house prior to painting.) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

They did a phenomenal job. They were prompt when they said they would be here and explained everything beforehand and ensure that before they left we were 100% satisfied with the services that they provided. Highly recommend.

Talked with Ben Landrum, no pressure and very professional. Got detail information on company and how work would be done if I chose to complete. Once price set and paperwork was given in writing hired that day. Fortunately for me this was a Thursday and rain was scheduled for the weekend and they had outside jobs that were going to have to change. My work got to start Saturday 9am. Ben and crew were 10 minutes early... Danny was over crew got all instructions, very easy to talk with and very eager to please me. They began work - amazing team. They didn’t waste time talking they all knew exactly where and what to do as they finished each task. I was so at ease and treated with great respect from all of them. They moved all heavy furniture covered and took special care placing back when completed. Made sure I was good, cleaned up mess inside (I was amazed), and when they left you would not of known they were here. I highly recommend and will be using them again. Neighbors have come to see their work and have asked for contact information. The service and quality of work could not of been any better. No deposit or money was paid until all work was finished and Ben called to make sure I was happy after a day. He then called and met me to get paid. It’s wonderful to find a company that the customer is so important and no pressure. Thank you all I really appreciate the whole team, and look forward to next project to come.

We have been house hunting for about a year now and just can’t replace what we already have in our current sunny south Charlotte home. So we decided to make a major color shift from boring beige to gorgeous grey, and freshen up all doors & trim, remove all the decor and just stay put. Sounds good, but there are so many nail pops, nail holes, area’s where the sheet rock tape is lifting, wall “pimples” & cracks. Certainly beyond what we can do. We had 5 different companies come out for estimates. What a cast if characters! But one company stood out... From the initial meeting with Ben of Painting & Moore we were sold on Painting & Moore. And when the estimate came back, even more so! The team assigned to our job was fantastic! Guillermo, Darlene & Carlos showed up on time & ready to go EVERY DAY with smiles on! They were extremely respectful of our home and were patient with our “cranky” dogs. The quality of work goes beyond what we expected! No detail was too small as they worked methodically through our huge job. Ben stopped by daily to check in with us. I should mention, after the contract was signed I decided to wallpaper a room already included in the cost. Ben was not concerned about it at all. He swapped in some other items for us. (It was more then fair!) When you undertake a project like ours (whole house) that takes a full week, it’s important the work team enjoys what they are doing. Lets face it, you are sharing your home for 9 hrs a day. Painting & Moore has a pleasant staff. They smile throughout the work day, take pride in the work they do & quality workmanship they provide. It makes a huge difference! I highly recommend Painting & Moore!

I hired Painting & Moore to paint the outside of my home and to do some drywall work. My house is made of brick so I thought this would be pretty straight forward, but this ended up being a disaster. (see attached photos). Every window in the home was painted shut. The irony of this was that we hadn't planned to get the insides of the windows painted but they advised us that it would look better if we did. Other painters later told me that painting a window shut is like the cardinal sin of painting; it should never happen to a professional. To make matters worse, when we told the crew that we couldn't open our windows, one of them became very angry and yelled at us and stated that it was our fault for not telling him to open the windows. The foreman, Oscar, told us that he was sorry this had happened, but that if we needed him to come back for touch ups then that would make up for the windows and they just left like the job was done. THEY JUST LEFT! I called the service manager, Ben, and he was very apologetic about everything and tried to put a plan together to fix this. So the crew comes back over and pries all the windows open and repaints. The service manager assured me he would come by that day to make sure all the windows were taken care of, but never did. After the paint was dry, we went around the house to close all the windows. WE COULDN'T GET ALL THE WINDOWS TO CLOSE. This is when I lost all confidence in Painting & Moore. I had to go outside at 9 o'clock at night on a ladder to try and push my crank windows shut from the outside. Some window seals had literally been ripped in two from when the painters were trying to force open the windows that had been painted shut. We did eventually get them all closed, but decided it was time to cut all ties with Painting and Moore and hire someone else to fix all this. Looking back, there were several signs that this was going to be bad. The crew was unprepared. They kept asking to use my tools. I had to loan out my drill, table saw, even had to dig out screws from my toolbox so they could use them for the drywall repairs (which didn't even get sanded down). They tracked in all kinds of dirt into the house. You can literally see their foot prints in the attached pictures.

The project went GREAT !!! Painting and Moore just finished an interior whole-house project for me. This included removing multiple rooms of 30 year old wallpaper, borders, and included removing grasscloth in a 2 story living room and 3 halls. Their company practice of not requiring a deposit and no payment until the project is finished was true. Their pricing was higher than another quote I got, but the old adage of "You get what you pay for." proved 100% true. They state that they will even come back for touch-ups, if you find uh-ohs, or moving-in blems. To date, I have not taken advantage of that service. They are able make slight repairs if needed. They adapt well to a last-minute work addition or request, will make suggestions, and even changed light bulbs to LEDs in the 2-story room for me. In all, I am extremely pleased, and the walls look better than I EVER imagined they could! It was a very messy 8 day project, but they showed up everyday, worked all days that were LONG days. (I was fortunate that the house is empty while they worked.) I would recommend them and will call them again, when time for outside work. My sales and project manager was Ben Landrum and the painting team was led by Danny. Ben returns calls quickly and keeps his customers informed every step of the process. He calls for clarification, if needed. Painting and Moore comes armed for the initial quote with a quote notebook containing their practices, their insurances, references. Ben was able to provide 3 separate quotes, based on 3 separate areas that I called Phases 1, 2, and 3. It made the scope of the work more understandable. (I actually contracted to do all 3 phases at the same time. It just made more sense in the long run.) They leave the quote/company promo notebook with you, so that you can verify any/all the information as part of your decision process. It is all upfront and in writing, which is refreshing. I checked everything. After verifying proof of insurances, an online check of SC and NC shows the business is current with registration, and they provide references. They are Top of Angie's List and member of BBB- Piedmont. Always do your own homework, but everything checked out end-February 2019. As a first-time customer of ANY work that is this extensive and this expensive, I felt and still feel, comfortable with my choice of Painting and Moore.

Ben, Danny, and team were fantastic! Ben started off the process by promptly giving us a quote, walked us through their process, time required, etc. Ben and Danny joined me on the initial walk-thru to ensure we had a mutual understanding of the scope of work, etc. The exterior of our home looks brand new and the work completed by the team was nothing short of fantastic! The team was efficient with their work and pleasant to deal with - I would highly recommend them and I would have no hesitation using them again.

They did it all in one day. Had one little problem, most people would have taken care of it themselves but I’m disabled and they came back to help me as my house was for sale. Too many comments about the wallpaper so it had to be removed. The house sold two days later!!! Thanks for the great job well done.

Ben & Danny were great from start to finish. Quote was quick and very reasonably priced. Crews arrived on time and worked some serious hours. Job was completed within the stated time frame. They were clean and neat and did an excellent Job. They made sure we were satisfied before leaving and assured us they would come back for any subsequent touch ups missed on the final walkthrough. Very happy with work and price,.

Corey and his team were very professional. They did a great job and were on site as promised to complete the work. Would definitely use them again and I have recommended them to my friends as well.

Danny Campos and his crew showed up when expected, did excellent work, and were so efficient they finished in less time than expected. They were always friendly and easy to work with and cleaned up thoroughly when finished. The crew returned after the new floor was installed to touch up the baseboards and put a coat of paint on the quarter rounds. We have our much improved little home back and very pleased.

Jose did great work. Could not have asked for a more professional job done. Ben, the owner, gave punctual estimates which were better than the any other. Can't say enough about the the courtesy and service received in the process of having the painting done.

Professional quote, well presented, with no up front payment. Angie’s list discount. Additional wood needed replaced and painted, as expected. Had the opportunity to watch the crew some and was impressed at their care while doing their work. Cleaned up afterwards. Well done by all involved. Highly recommended.

Things went really well. Ben, Danny and his crew were fantastic. Ben was very responsive and attentive to what I needed, which I really appreciated. He gave a deadline of 2 days and it was completed in a day and half. We had one little hiccup, but I addressed with Ben and it is being handled. I would definitely use Painting & Moore again to paint my second floor. Awesome job, very pleased with this painting experience.

Weather didn't cooperate, kept raining, which meant a number of starts and stops and more coordinating of schedules than anticipated. Lead painter was conscientious and they did a good job. Did ask that they start with the screened porch first so we could use that as soon as possible and that didn't work out. Don't know if it was because the ceiling required extra work or if they had inside work elsewhere that they were doing on rainy days instead of working on the porch, or what, but the work is good and it does look nice.

Great, the crew was thorough and meticulous. When they were finished, if not for the brand new appearance of the deck, you would not have known they had been there.

All work was done on a timely and efficient basis
