Jon Moore was very comprehensive and professional in quoting and explaining the scope of the work to be done. His men started by thoroughly cleaning the painted exterior surfaces of my house, then caulking, sanding and replacing any bad fascia boarding then applied two coats of paint. Jon made it clear that they would use any paint we wanted but highly recommended Sherwin Williams Duration which we ended up going with. The crew chief Magno was very polite and professional as well as his crew of three men. Magno was the only one that could speak English but that did not present any problems. They worked very efficiently for the three days it took to complete the job. They were VERY good at not being messy with the paint as there were not any instances of paint on the brick, deck, etc. After the job was completed they did a great job of cleaning up; leaving no signs that they were there except a nicely painted house.

Painting & Moore's crew, working in the extreme heat of July, were thorough in their prep work and careful with their finishing work. It has been one of the most satisfying experiences we've had with a contractor of any sort. I almost look forward to working having to paint the house again in a few years.

Steve, the manager at Painting & Moore, was timely in meeting with me and providing an estimate. He met me at my house the same day I called. When I had questions about changing the scope of work Steve was responsive to my questions. Once we agreed to have Painting & Moore proceed with the work, the work started within a week and took three days to complete due to rain one day. There was an issue while the work was being completed, but when I brought this up, Steve was out on site quickly and the issue was resolved. The crew worked hard and the paint job looks great! I was very pleased with how responsive Steve was when I called him. He was very accessible and able to deal with whatever arose. He even knocked some money off the final bill.

I selected Painting and Moore from Angie's List because of its superior ratings and recommendations. I called Jon Moore and he appeared promptly at the appointed time. I showed him what I wanted done and he checked the entire exterior and presented me with an estimate. He showed me where I had a rotten window sill and said he would replace that. I was more than pleased with his estimate and asked him to schedule me. He called after the 4th of July and scheduled me for the following Monday and Tuesday. He and his crew showed up on time and went straight to work...I don't think they ever took a break. I wasn't sure they could complete the job in two days, but when I came home on Tuesday evening, it was done and done right. Jon called and asked if he could come by and walk around the house to see if I was satisfied...I told him I'd already done that and couldn't find anything to complain about.

I contaced what i believed to be the top three painters in my area from Angie's List. I got a call back quickly from Jon Moore, the owner, to set up an appointment for the estimate. He arrived when he said he would and gave me a very competitive estimate on the spont. It was apparent to me that from the beginning Jon was interested in doing a good job that would meet all of my expectations. I was not disappointed in any way. The work started when promised and was done efficiently and effectively. Along the way a few issues arose, Jon took care of them without question. Whenever I called, I got a call back within the hour. I am very happy with Painting and Moore and Jon specifically. They are a quality company. I would recommend them to anyone.

My 2 decks were pressured washed a few years ago but were not protected with a stain. From being unprotected they became weary looking and rather pathetic. I called a few companies on Angie?s List and felt Painting & Moore was the best match for my needs. I was very impressed with the initial phone call I had with the company and the very professional written format use to present my estimate. Since I was at work at the time the estimator came out the information that was left at my home aided greatly with my decision to choose Painting & Moore. Also, it gave me a insight into the professionalism I could expect. Because of the condition of my decks Steve recommended a solid stain. I am so pleased with the pressure washing and solid stain applied to my two decks. Steve was very professional and true to his word. He kept me in the loop, answered my questions promptly and thoroughly. From pressure washing and staining results I am now hopeful that can get a few more years of used from my decks. The bonus is they look SO much better! The employees who actually did the work were very proficient and very pleasant. Painting & Moore went beyond my expectations. I am partially disabled and could not put back the furniture they had taken off my deck in order to strain it. I explained this to Steve thinking I would have to pay someone to put my stuff back but was surprise when Steve said he would have someone do that for me! I don't remember the gentleman who called to let me know they would be by the following morning to put my things back but thank you guys...they were so quiet I didn't even know they were there. I highly recommend Painting & Moore and appreciate them going beyond my expectations. They are all definitely pros and I will use them again.

Jon is very prompt in returning phone calls. They showed up on time and completed the work promptly. Everything was left clean and tidy when they were finished. Jon has several crews but comes by to check on them and make sure the project is going smoothly. You don't pay until you're satisfied with the work.

From start to finish, Painting & Moore did an outstanding job. I couldn't be happier with the finished product. Jon promptly called me after my initial inquiry and came out the next day to quote the job. The quote was in the middle of the 3 companies I had come out, but I had the best feeling from them. They provided their insurance certificate in the quote and explained all the services that they would provide, including the power washing and cleaning the windows when the house was finished. The process started back in February, but we just now had the house painted. Jon was the only company who kept following up to see where were at in the decision making. Jon came out each day of the project to make sure everything was proceeding as expected. The job of his crew was exceptional, Magno - the job leader, was great to work with. Returned my first call promptly; Met me the next day to go over the job. Gave me a written quote with insurance verification the following day. Did the work 2 weeks from the day I first contacted them. Prompt, efficient, and professional. They did a good job!

They gave us the best quote (out of five), repaired the squirrel damage the way we wanted it done (with courtesy, creativity,and respect), were incredibly detailed (sanding, patching, and fixing before painting), and now the house looks great! We plan on having them do some interior painting next. Highly recommended!

I obtained quotes from three companies. The defining difference between the three was how they proposed to fix the years of peeled and repainting of the front entry (the area looked like alligator skin!) and the warranty provided by each. Painting and Moore initially propsed that they would skim coat the peeled areas but when the crew arrived, they decided to sand the entire area (at no additional charge) and repaint. They also offered a five year warranty on their work. The crew supervisor showed up the first day and pressure washed the entire house. The remaining crew showed up the second day and the scraping began. The third and fourth days were dedicated to the actual painting. The crew was very neat, cleaning up after themselves each day and making every effort to pick up the pieces of scraped paint around the house. Despite the change in how we addressed the peeled/repainted area and the unexpected repair of old termite damage, the company did not increase the fee they had quoted. And they made sure I was satisfied before they asked for any payment. I was very happy with the quality of the work performed - especially in light of the low quality of the last two painting companies I had employed - and felt that I got an extremely good value for the price. I would recommend Painting and Moore to anyone!

Wow, what more can I say! But I’ll try. It all began with Steve Stevens who offered a very good proposal. He answered all of my questions and made trips to the house to go over the details. As the work started, an experienced crew arrived to begin pressure wash and prep work. After a day of rain delay, the painting process began. Again, a 7 man crew, lead by Roman, started with brush and roller to bring my house alive. And they did. I could go on, but suffice is to say the house is fantastic! If you are considering a house painting makeover, I highly recommend that you give Painting & Moore a call.

I have lived in my 55 year old house for upwards of 21 years and have encountered numerous service companies over the years. All promised what I was looking for and were hired. Painting and Moore is the first company I have hired that actually delivered on the promises that they made. They made my house look great, they even over delivered and I found them replacing deck boards and fascia and even a substantial amount of a door frame. They even came back when I called and said that I had replaced the door. If you are like me and like a company who does what they say, then you will do well to contact Painting and Moore!

Jon Moore responded to my email promptly and was on time for our meeting. He provided me with a booklet showing his Certificate of Liability Insurance, customer references, awards and a detailed written estimate on the spot, which I promptly accepted. Jon stayed in contact letting me know when certain steps were planned and to be sure I was in agreement. When I met the crew they were friendly and professional. Jon and his crew frequently checked to be sure everything was being done to my satisfaction. My house needed a great deal of TLC which it definitely received. I'll be contacting Painting & Moore in the future to power wash my house to keep it looking as great as they have it now and for other projects that come up..

They were professional from start to finish and didn't take a dime until we were satisfied with their work. The quality of the job is outstanding; the paint is hand-applied, not sprayed. They also warranty their work for 5-years. We will hire them for future carpentry work. Overall, the experience was great and the work is worth every penny.

Fantastic overall experience. From the initial telephone conversation with Mgr. Steve Stephens to the post work inspection with the crew. I let Steve know that this involved a small job that was needed as our front door had recently shown a crack and there was some rotted wood around the frame. Steve was wise enough to immediately state that good work on a small job can many times lead to a bigger assignment which is where my mind was at as we will need to have our entire home painted within 12-18 months and this job was certainly a test from my view point. Steve came over that afternoon, wrote an estimate and I agreed to get back with him within a few days to set a date for the work to be completed. 2 days later I contacted Steve and he was able to accomodate my schedule to get a date on the calendar. The crew arrived at the appointed time and were exceedingly professional from start to finish. We are very please with the finished product and their attention to detail was admirable. Case in point, all work was completed, their van had been packed up and the crew lead was taking a final look when he noticed a small area where they had painted the exterior of the door that did not look quite right. He immediately pulled the individual off to the side who had done the work, coached him on what was lacking and instructed him to re-sand and repaint. This act took 5 minutes or less, but it speaks volumes to the commitment to work product which is what I look for when having work done on my home. As noted, we will be having a much larger job done in the not too distant future and as I mentioned to Steve when he came by to receive payment, we will certainly highly consider them to do the work.

Fantastic. Showed up on time, nice polite crew, kept me informed, excellent customer service, answered my questions honestly. Wonderful experience and I will use them again for other projects. I have already referred them to others. I am so excited that we found these folks. The owners even called to check up on things over the course of the time they were working on my house.

Excellent job. Crew was great . Included pressure wash, lots of wood replacement, window cleaning. Really went beyond our expectations and would highly recommend Jon and company to anyone. Quote was very reasonable. Other quotes were approx same but did not include wood replacement , washing etc. Attention to detail was really great! PROFESSIONAL service from beginning to end.

Jon Moore provided an estimate, the crew arrived the next day and performed repairs as promised. The work was of high quality and the aesthetically pleasing. They added in flashing at my vented louver at no additional charge, which was a bonus, and had not been included in the original proposal.
