Excellent - They did a beautiful job, and we did not pay any money at all, nor would they even leave an invoice for us to pay from, until they could speak with us by phone to ensure that we were 100% satisfied. They did a great job and didn't disrupt landscaping or anything else - very professional every step of the way. Will definitely use them again!

The experience I had with Painting & Moore exceeded my expectations from the first phone call I made through the last chip of paint they picked up from my yard. (Yes - they actually picked up large chips of old paint from my yard when they were cleaning up at the end of the job!) Steve came the day after I called to give me an estimate. He walked around the house and pointed out rotten wood that needed to be replaced and gave me an estimate. They ran into some unexpected glitches including numerous coats of old paint on the large porch ceiling which fell off when they began working on it. There was quite a bit of rotten wood to be replaced as well. Marco and his crew arrived right on time and went to work transforming my home. In addition to being excellent, top notch painters, they are also professional carpenters. They replaced the rotten wood as well as framing around some windows and back door. Steve came by every day to make sure everything was going smoothly. I asked them to do several extra things (like replace several cracked window panes that were two stories off the ground. Marco and crew were more than happy to accomodate any request I made. They cleaned up at the end of every day. They take great pride in their profession and go to great lengths to make sure you are pleased with their services. I feel like they treated my home as if it were their own. You simply can't beat perfection - and that's what you get when you contract with Painting and Moore! No need to look anywhere else.

From estimating to scheduling and performing the work everything went wonderfully. Steve the manager was very flexible in working around other maintenance projects and was very helpful in selection of type and color of paint. Excellent crew and foreman Sol. Very attentive to details and customer oriented. The house looks great thanks to their excellent work.

Did very good job. Removed shutters and downspouts and painted behind them, which the previous painters didn't do.

First of all, Painting and Moore painted the exterior of my house a couple of months ago. So I called Painting and Moore on June 11th and said that since rain was in the forecast for the week, I could keep a crew working by painting two bathrooms inside my house (I had just put in vanity tops and I did some spackling to finish the areas just above that work). Jon Moore said Steve Stevens would call me. Steve called, showed up the same day, and gave me a quote. I acepted the price and the crew showed up the next morning to get the paint and do the work. Wayne (project foreman) and Raymond, who were part of the crew that painted the exterior, prepared the surfaces, spackled as necessary and went about their business. Both men are extremely courteous and professional. It was great to have them on the job as I knew the quality of their work. The one bathroom was a breeze since it was painted the same color and therefore only required one coat. The other bathroom needed a little spackling done. We were also changing colores and needed a stainkill coat and two regular coats. Wayne used a heat gun and a fan in between coats to enhance the drying process, and therefore was able to finish the job the same day. Wayne told me about a possible problem with a spot on the wall which didn't look exactly right but may dry OK. He gave me his personal number to call if it didn't dry to my satisfaction. However, it dried just fine and I am very pleased.

The experience was great. I e-mailed through Angie's List to set up a time for them to come out and take a look at the door. I was concerned that they may not be interested because it's a relatively small job. Cindy came out on Friday morning showing up a little early and took a look at the job. As luck would have it, she was able to fit me in the very next day. And she made sure that the crew she sent was detail oriented as the door has insets and antique hardware. Roman and Francisco arrived right on time and did an amazing job. The door looks as new as an 80 year old door can look. I'll definitely be using Painting and Moore again. With a historic home, I want the job done well and done right and seeing the quality of workmanship on my door, I'll definitely entrust them to larger projects in my home.

The exerience went well. The service manager was punctual, polite, informative and responsive. The team came out on Wednesday to prep the house and painted on Thursday until Saturday. They cleaned up each day and were polite. The team paiting the house was detailed and took pride in their work. They would go above and beyod to make sure you are happy. They painted the door to my crawl space and my handrails to make them look nice even though it wasn't part of the original contract. They did this at no additional charge. Not that it was a lot of work or paint, but they could have charged me more for this service and chose not to

I called Painting and Moore (P&M) and requested a quote. I talked with the owner John Moore and he said they would be out to give me an estimate in a couple days. Steve Stevens showed up on time and went through the process. He gave me a base quote for the house and detailed the extras I asked for (deck, outbuilding, paint upgrade). After reviewing all quotes I chose P&M. They scheduled me for a few weeks out which I told them was fine. They kept in contact, and after a rain delay, Wayne, the foreman showed up with another worker to pressure wash. Wayne is a very professional and respectful employee. He has a great work ethic and is also very personable. The next step was to prep the surfaces (scrape old paint and caulking, apply new caulking, primer) and repair/replace one small facia board. A few days later, a crew of four came out and painted the house, a shed, and stained the deck. They were efficient, neat, and complete. I inspected the work myself and then again with John Moore. I saw no drips, spills, or overlapping painting. I am very pleased with the work and will use P&M again.

Steve came out to give us an estimate as scheduled. When we called to say we wanted to hire Painting & Moore, Steve told us he had a crew dedicated to older homes (we live in Dilworth) that was booked out for 2-3 weeks already and he would call us when he could provide a firm starting date. We got a call 2 weeks later and the crew started the next day. They showed up on time and worked hard to keep the job moving along. The only issue we had was they left the back gate open several times which meant our dog got out twice. Otherwise we were satisfied and would use them again.

From the time I called Painting and Moore until the job was finished, Steve (the sales manager) was very professional, responsive to my concerns, helpful, and kind. The first time I called Painting and Moore, I intended to call a different painting company. Fortunately, I accidently pressed the wrong number when dialing and reached Steve. Within 24 hours of our initial conversation, he visited my house and provided me with a quote. He was the only one of 3 contractors that applied the stain by hand (NO SPRAYERS). Also, he was the least expensive. Steve helped me with product selection as well as called the Cabot representative to make sure the paint could be applied with the outside temperature averaging less than 50 degrees. They did an incredible job and were extremely neat. Considering I am a very "hard to please" customer, I give them an A+! I would highly recommend them for any painting job. We now get to enjoy our beautiful deck and pergola!

They sent a couple of people to a crew depending on the work. They went above and beyond. They went out of there way to make sure everything was right. If I saw a spot, they would touch it up immediately. They did a VERY thorough job painting the windows.

The three man crew did an excellent job. I had requested that tarp be used as I had just gotten a new roof installed. They were careful and I could not see any drips of paint. The man in charge communicated well and all three were very diligent and worked well together.

They took very good care of my furniture and household items and covered everything. They were polite and very nice to work with. They showed up on time and finished the job on time.

The entire process was professional and the crew was courteous from start to finish. The firm's manager arrived promptly to give us a detailed quote on the work. The foreman and crew arrived on time to start the job each day, which they completed in roughly 7 days. All masonry surfaces were sprayed, then rolled (as promised in the contract) and two coats of premium paint were applied to wood trim, as we discussed upfront. Joints were carefully caulked where needed. The crew replaced/repaired wood where needed. Wrought iron railings were painted, and high quality clear coat was applied to the stained garage doors. The crew did a great job of cleaning up at the end of each work day. We have some heavy plantings around the house and the crew was very careful to keep paint off the shrubs, flowers and garden. Moreover, they did a nice job of putting furniture and fixtures back in place when the project was done. The crew even cleaned a very large (and very dirty) conservatory skylight that had not been included in the scope of their painting work. The crew was conscientious, and I was delighted with the quality of work.

The process of obtaining the quote could not have gone more smoothly. I was happy to receive a discount made possible by my Angie's List membership, and felt that the price was very fair. The crew leader called each day they were at my house to let me know what time to expect them and to let me know what they would be working on each day. They were very professional, tidy, and efficient. I am very pleased with the outcome of this project and do not have any suggestions for improvement.

We got quotes from five A-rated painting contractors to paint the entire exterior of our house. Painting & Moore's quote was by far the most specific, detailing exactly which surfaces would be painted and the method and paint to be used. Painting & Moore also had the best warranty covering the entire job against defects for five years with few restrictions. The firm's manager arrived promptly to give us the quote. The foreman and large crew arrived on time to start the job, which they completed in five days. All surfaces were brushed or rolled rather than sprayed (as promised in the contract). Joints were carefully caulked where needed. The crew replaced several sections of facia board that had rotted (also included in the original quote/contract). At the end of each work day the crew left no clutter or anything unsightly around the premises. A few days after the job had been completed and fully paid for, I noticed a very small area that needed to be corrected. The foreman and a crew member arrived the next day to correct the problem and stayed until I assured them that everything looked marvelous. Everyone on the job was very courteous and pleasant to deal with. We're delighted with the outcome.

Top notch experience. Painting and Moore painted my deck and wood trim a couple of years ago, and they did a bang up job. I didn't hesitate to re-hire them for the siding work. The pricing is competitive, and the crew does excellent work. Jon Moore consulted me about everything and kept me well informed of what was going on. The new siding looks amazing!!!

They came on 04-02 and power washed the house. I was not home this day, but when I arrived home, the house looked much better and the yard was clean. They were to arrive on 04-03 at 9:00 am to finish. They were almost 30 minutes early and started their prep work to paint. They cleaning the outside windows to remove spotting from the powerwashing. They also, wiped down all the guttering with a solution to remove any mildew that remained. After being instructed, on the colors for the trim, doors and shutters and they began painting. They were very professional and fast. They had finished and cleaned the yard by noon and checked with me that I was happy was everything before leaving. I was very happy with the finished product and would recommend highly.

I really couldn't recommend this company any more. The crew was punctual, clean and thorough. Overall, the entire experience was a pleasure and our house really stands out on the block!

I obtained 3 quotes to paint the exterior trim/windows/doors/shutters/gutters of my home, to clean/stain my deck, and to clean my driveway. Two of the quotes came from highly regarded companies on Angie?s List and the 3rd was a referral from a neighbor. Steve (from Painting & Moore) came out and met with me to understand what I wanted. He took about an hour to look everything over, pointing out some rotted wood that needed replacing (around the door leading to the deck, around a couple of windows, and a couple of spots in the soffits) and explaining in detail what his crew would do. He then proceeded to document it all and left me with a completely detailed written estimate of what would be done. (The others spent less than 30 minutes. One simply walked around the house and then verbally told me what he would do and then wrote down a quote...all in about 10 minutes. The third went back to the office and emailed me a quote a few days later.) All three estimates came within a couple hundred dollars of each other. While I believe the other 2 companies would have probably done a good job, I chose Painting & Moore. Their estimate wasn?t the least expensive, but Steve?s thoroughness and his easy going nature just made me feel that I could trust him. (To me, when it comes down to it, I want to hire that I?m comfortable with.) When you?re having the exterior painted, you?re at the mercy of the weather. Steve kept me up-to-date regarding the schedule. After having to reschedule a couple of times, the weather finally cooperated and the guys showed up on time and did a thorough job. On the first day, the crew spent the first half day pressure washing and cleaning. On the second day, they spent the first half of the day replacing wood, sanding, scraping, priming, caulking?.all of the necessary prep work for a long-lasting, good quality paint job (the stuff that the ½ price guys usually don?t do or scrimp out on). Upon closer inspecting, the guys even found a couple of other spots that needed some wood replacement and did so without charging extra. Once that was complete, they spent the second half of the day painting. They came back the next morning (on a Saturday) and finished up the job (instead of simply leaving it all weekend and coming back on Monday). They cleaned up after themselves each day. These guys are true professionals and you can tell that they take pride in their work. Like anything else, good quality work tends to get good responses and referrals, which, in turn, leads to more work. I?m sure you can find someone to do it more cheaply?but you?ll probably end up with what you paid for - a cheap paint job. I highly recommend Painting & Moore. When I have another need for painting, they will be the company that I will call again.

Painting & Moore folks were pleasant to deal with, as well as professional and responsive. Their price was reasonable for the quality of the work they did. They also readily returned to make improvements in spots which I thought needed them.

We are very pleased with the painting service provided by Painting and Moore. They met all our expectations based on the positive reviews here on AngiesList. They gave us a very detailed estimate, which is rare these days. Their painters showed up on time each day and were very thorough in their work. They also cleaned up each day, which also left us with a very favorable impression. Steve the sales person, was very prompt in following up with us and the final cost was right in line with the estimate. They also were very careful in how they moved furniture and didn't even require me to do anything! I highly recommend Painting and Moore for your painting needs.

I called them for an estimate based on their stellar Angie's list record. I really appreciated how they gave me an estimate right on site after walking through my house, and the estimate came back lower than I was 'expecting' for the job, so I didn't even bother getting other estimates at that point. I scheduled a couple weeks out and received a confirmation call two days prior. On the day of the painting, the crew showed up @ 9am (on time), and spent close to two hours doing all the prep. They filled every single nail hole, crack, drywall tape peel, etc etc. My house is in great shape, but the walls are ~20 years old so there was quite a bit of that minor work for them to do. They missed absolutely nothing - very impressive. The crew of four guys then got to the painting portion, and had the walls & trim done (two coats) by 5pm, including clean up. They worked quickly and relatively quietly, and did a nice job cleaning up when done. There was a little more drywall dust than I had anticipated, but that wasn't their fault of course and they cleaned up as well as could be expected. Overall, I'm just thrilled. The house looks brand new and the even better than I could have imagined. ANY painting I need done in the future will be through these guys.

It went excellent. I was very happy with it. They were very prompt and professional. They cleaned up well at the end of each day. When they left, Jon walked around and did an inspection to assure quality.
