The entire job was done exceptionally well and very professionally. Ben came out to give us an estimate and explain very thoroughly what would need to be done and how (and why) they would do it. There was some question about how well the paint had performed from the previous painting (just over a year earlier by another contractor), so Ben arranged for a Sherwin-Williams rep to come inspect our railings--and the rep ended up furnishing the paint for the job. The weather forecasts would require several trips to our home to complete the work. Wayne led a three-man crew to do the entire job, and they were outstanding. They went over and above minimum requirements, doing some minor repairs to the railings and border around the porch. Even though they worked very quickly, they were also very careful in all they did--and the result was a beautiful front porch and entry doors. Ben and Wayne and their crew were a pleasure to do business with, and Wayne is absolutely outstanding. We will definitely do business with this company again!

Estimater, who is also the project manager, arrived in timely manner and after through examination of the exterion of the house, provided estimate for painting and for replacement of any wood found to be defective. Power wash crew arrived on scheduled date and completed that phase. Three days later, the paint crew arrived and began painting. The project manager came by daily to inspect and check on progress.. During the process of painting, two othere pieces of wood were found to be defective. They were replaced at no additional cost. Overall, a very excellent job. Everying was left spotless at the end of each day and at completition.

We called to receive an estimate and they showed up shortly after. They were very competitively priced and were very professional. They came to paint 4 days later. Very quick, prompt, clean. Very satisfied and happy. Definitely call them to paint your house! We are very pleased.

Everything from the first call I made to the company thru the completion of the project was handled with professionalism. Ben arrived on time and completed the estimate before leaving. The estimate included the costs, references and information about Painting and Moore. When they started the job I was introduced to Wayne who was the supervisor for the entire project. He and his crew arrived as anticipated and they cleaned up when they finished for the day. I was always amazed how well they cleaned up everyday! Wayne addressed all my concerns and questions completely and made the entire process so easy. I wish I had done it earlier! I will call Painting and Moore again when I get ready to paint the interior of my house.

Very professional, did a great job. When they finished, came back to check with me if I am satisfied. Overall I was very satisfied with them.

I called to request a painting estimate on Tuesday and Jason came out a couple of days later. We walked around the home?s perimeter and pointed out areas of concern. Jason did an in depth survey of the home, noting perimeter footage, numbers of windows, doors, and replacement boards needed in areas where rotten wood on home?s trim and deck was noted. Work began the following week. On Monday gutters were cleaned out and the home was pressure washed. A paint sample was taken to be matched and on Tuesday the siding was painted. Wednesday the rotten wood was replaced and painting on trim began. Thursday the trim and door painting continued and on Friday the deck was painted and trim work completed. Jason came by daily to check on the crew?s progress and to see if we had any areas of concern. On Monday of week 2 Jason surveyed the home with us to look for areas that might need touching up and to make sure that we were completely satisfied with the job before payment was exchanged. Jason, Art and the crew were very professional and very committed to customer approval. The workers put in long hours and cleaned up at the end of each day. I felt like the they painted my home with the attention to detail that they would give their own. It was quickly apparent that they took great pride in their work. It was such a pleasure working with Jason, Art and crew. I can?t say enough about how pleased we are in the quality of their work. Our home looks like new and I will definitely use them again.

This was the 2nd time I've used Painting & Moore. First time they painted both the interior & exterior of a rental property I own. This time they painted the interior only. They are very professional, quick and thorough. They even came back the next day to meet me for a walk through and touch things up. I will use them again.

It went pretty well. They did a good job on the quality and the promptness. They always kept me informed on their progress and when they would be there and when they would not be there. They came back and fixed some of the things that I was not satisfied with so they came back to do that stuff. The only issue I had was that there was miscommunication on what the scope of the job was going to be and we ended up resolving that. I guess it was probably partially my fault that they got multiple quotes on the painting and maybe did not ask enough questions on what would be covered but that was resolved.

Power washed the house, fixed broken siding, cleaned the gutters, fences and patio, caulked and primed where needed, painted the house and garage. We have a 3 story home with a 2nd story porch. No spots were missed and the coverage looked great. We went with the upgraded "Duration" paint. While I did not do a side by side comparison of paints, the house looks great. The crew was polite, fast and professional. They were able to finish in 3 days.

We had a great experience. They were timely, communicated well with us and did a great job.

Painting and Moore Evaluation In late September, 2012, I contacted Painting and Moore about doing some external painting and repair work on my two-story Williamsburg colonial home. The home is clad in a white vinyl siding with black shutters. The work to be done consisted of: 1. Painting the sun-faded black shutters on the windows; 2. Repairing water damage to the wood of the front door frame; 3. Fixing a section of molding on an aluminum siding column; 4. Surfacing and painting a decorative handrail and outside lamp post; and 5. Restoring framing to a door on our tool shed. My request for a bid was handled by Ben Landrum, Painting and Moore Account Manager. He visited my home and reviewed my list of the work I wanted done. Ben examined each of the above problem areas and explained to me how the work would be done. Ben also provided some useful advice on how the work to be done would integrate with other work that I was considering having done at a later time on the house and shed. After we finished, Ben assembled a job proposal booklet, with an estimated cost (including an Angie's List discount), and gave it to me for my review. This initial meeting began on time, took about a half hour and was very complete in all details; it was a very professional way of conducting business. I called Ben back the next day, accepted his proposal and we jointly set up a date for the work to be done. On the agreed-upon date (October 4, 2012), there was an overnight shower. But Ben and two of his work team showed up the next morning, evaluated the situation and decided that the work could be begun. They left for a brief time but returned with two additional team members and began working. They finished the job, complete in every way, ahead of schedule that same day. The work team of four conducted themselves very professionally. They wasted no time in applying themselves to the various jobs to be done. Two members of the team, Jennifer and Marco, were very capable carpenters and very thorough in their work. The repair work they did on the front door area could not be detected even when viewed from a close position. The shed repair was excellently executed so that the shed looks years younger than it is. The other two members of the work team were painters who performed a restorative painting to the shutters, handrail and lamp post that was exceedingly well done. There were no visible drips or runs of paint anywhere on the white surface so the house now has a much newer appearance than it had pre-painting. The members of the work team were very willing to answer questions that I might have on the work and responded in a very courteous manner. The group also offered thoughts and recommendations on other work that I was planning for the future in the areas in which they were working. Overall, I am very pleased with the work Painting and Moore did on my house. It was excellent. The house looks significantly better than it did before the work was done. I expect to use Painting and Moore for any future painting and carpentry work to be done on my house. I would recommend Painting and Moore to anyone needing painting and carpentry work done on their home, as well.

They power washed and marked the boards that needed replacement the first day. They primed and replaced the wood the following day and they completed the job within 4 days. They painted the siding and all trim & shutters and put a fresh coat of poly-urethane on the front door using brushes rather than sprayers or rollers. They kept the yard clean and tidy throughout the whole process. Steve came back to inspect the work and walk-through with us after 5pm as requested. We did note one board that had been replaced which only had primer on it. One of the crew members was back on site at 7pm to fix it that same evening. We will definitely call Painting & Moore again.

We contacted Painting and Moore for an estimate. They met us at the house to review what we wanted done. They were prompt and worked around our schedule. We setup a date which was several weeks away. Ben called the day before to confirm everything (which was so different than other contractors..We usually had to call them. They came out and pressure washed our house and also washed our front sidewalk, porch and back steps! We were not expecting them to go the extra mile. The painting crew came out the next day or so to do the trim. They cleaned up after themselves and again they went the extra mile and installed a flood light for me! I left them a note and ask if could take down some old hardware and They removed it patched and painted. When they had completed the job they called to see when we could be home so they could paint the doors. Again they worked around my schedule which made them a little late getting there because of traffic but they called to let me know. The overall experience was great. We loved the customer service and the excellent quality. I will be contacting them again to paint the interior. Thank you.

They did a good job and the home looks good. The estimate was very competitive and they did what they said they would do.

Have them get some color samples to help make the decision.

The sales guy and the workers were very professional, punctual and did a very good job overall. There were a few areas that I noticed that needed to be touched up, etc, but they were very prompt in returning to complete the job and then gave me a great price to add a couple of additional items. In addition, I didn't have to pay them until I was satisfied with the completed work. I highly recommend them!

Painting & Moore was one of the first companies to return my call when we were getting estimates. Cindy Limm came out to the house when she said she would and provided us with a comprehensive estimate, and always returned my calls promptly.The entire team was extremely professional through the entire process. We had a bit of an issue during the pressure washing where the cleaning product they used (per our agreement) did not clean the house very well. When I addressed this with them, they responded immediately by cleaning the house again, and it turned out great. We had attempted to try and utilize a more "green" cleaning product, but it was completely inneffective. I don't place any fault on Painting & Moore for this; we gave it a shot, but that particular product did not work very well. The team that did all of the work did a great job. They were prompt, professional, they always showed up on time, the quality of work was really good, they finished on time, and cleaned up after the work was completed. After the work was done, Cindy came back to the house and we did a final walk through together. I was completely satisifed with the entire experience and would use them again.

I was very impressed with Painting & Moore, from the supervisors all the way down to the crew. They performed the job exactly as it was written in the contract and quickly took carew of any of my concerns. Overall, they did a thoroughly professional job and I highly recommend them.

They were on time. Their price and offerings were the best. They completely delivered on everything they promised. They even fit me into a very tight schedule to get the work done. I would use them again anytime I needed this type of work done. They did a great job.

Cindy came out promptly to provide us with an estimate. We had just installed vinyl siding and emphasised that we wanted assurance that the pressure washing and stain would in no way harm the siding. Cindy understood and said that the crew would take special care. She did indicate that normally the stain is applied by brush except for the lattice. That would be sprayed. We were very impressed with Cindy's professionalism and the product she would be using. She indicated the stain we had selected was rated highly by consumer reports. We looked that up and she was correct. We received another estimate which was almost half the price Cindy quoted. We had pretty much decided we preferred Painting and Moore do the work and Cindy took the time to explain the disparity in quotes. Painting and Moore applies two coats of stain while the other company that provided the lower estimate only quoted one coat. The crew she sent showed up as scheduled. Two people pressure washed the deck. The next day a crew of five showed up and began staining the deck. We noticed that they were actually applying the stain to the lattice by brush. That was great for us. Cindy came out to check on the progress and told us she didn't want to use the spray because the lattice enclosure didn't allow adequate room to use the spray effectively. During the week we had typical Charlotte weather, late afternoon thunder storms. She followed up by phone when she knew the previous nights rain would require more time for the deck to dry. Weather permitting, Cindy sent the same crew out to complete the work. Knowing the weather had caused scheduling problems, we never felt like our project was put on hold in order for them to start a new job. It did take longer to stain the deck in between the rain. Every day the crew came out, Cindy came out to inspect the progress, point out things that were missed or need further touch-up. Cindy wanted us to be happy with their work. In fact, to make the deck look good, she had the crew apply three coats of stain as needed. Was our project worth the extra money, absolutely. Highly recommeded.

We contacted Painting & Moore after thoroughly researching Angie's List for a highly recommended exterior painter with the ability to replace rotten wood. From start to finish the company exceeded our expectations with their responsiveness, professionalism and quality of service. Cindy, our project manager, went above and beyond to address several concerns prior to the actual work, and assisted us in achieving the best outcome for painting the exterior of our entire two-story home. In fact, they worked with us for several months before we even hired them to make sure we took the correct measures to ensure a long-lasting paint job. They provided several quotes upon request (as our scope of work changed a few times) and never made us feel like we were asking for too much. Saul and his crew couldn't have been nicer and were very professional. They worked hard and made sure all of our questions were answered along the way. We were especially impressed with their diligence and desire to make sure the job was done to our perfection. The wood work repair as well as paint job exceeded our expectations. We also had them recaulk and paint the exterior of our wood windows, and the windows now look brand new! We feel the work performed is of the high quality we were seeking and lived up to the other reviews posted on Angie's List. We would recommend Painting & Moore to anyone, and find it refreshing to know there are good companies out there that take pride in their work and pleasing their customers. Cindy was an exceptional manager, and we cannot say enough great things about her. We will absolutely use this company again when we have the need.

The crew did a great job and we were pleased with the work performed. The most impressive part of this company is their commitment to 100% satisfaction. We had a few small areas that needed to be looked at once the paint dried. Not only did Cindy come back to look into, she brought the crew as well. They not only addressed the few small areas, they repainted the whole wall so it would be consistent. This was one of the most amazing acts of true customer service I have ever witnessed. A lot of companies say "100% satisfaction", but Painting & Moore far surpassed 100% satisfaction for us. We will use them again and will refer all of our friends to them as well. Truly outstanding job and service! Thank you!

I was extremely pleased with the promptness, thoroughness, and attention to detail from Cindy as well as the painting crew themselves. I will definitely use them again!

The most remarkable thing, to us, was that the company adhered to its own high standards and we were not ever having to feel like we were being "picky" in order to get the job done right.
