Painting & Moore

Painting and Moore responded the same day I sent them a note from Angieslist.com. They were also very responsive and cordial when I spoke with them on the telephone. We set up an appointment for an estimate and they were on time and left us with a very thorough proposal and cost estimate. The crew came to pressure wash the site as promised. The rainy weather delayed the project, however, the team started and completed staining in one afternoon.

I had a good experience with PAINTING & MOORE. They were prompt and responsive. They did the quote and scheduled the work quickly. Their prices were slightly lower than most. It didn't turn out exactly as they said it would.

The work went very well and the guys did a great job in keeping noise down as well as protecting the floor and furniture. They spent a good amount of time in the beginning covering furniture in canvas and plastic as well as moving items to the center of the floor. They painted everything by hand (including a two-story foyer) and kept clean lines. The paint is evenly coated without any missed spots. It took them roughly two days from 9a to approximately 4p and then the site lead, Arturo, came back with another worker and Greg Moore to do a walk through on the third day. I was very pleased with the service provided and the professionalism of the workers. I would definitely utilize their services again if needed.

They did excellent work in the time frame they estimated. Very nice crew, showed up on time each day (3 day project). They worked long days and kept the house clean. They came back the very next day to pickup remaining items. very satisfied with their work and will use them again soon. Thank you to Wes, Christian & crew!

The crew who undertook the job were very professional and very efficient. Any mess was cleaned up effectively ( not that there was much at all ). The foreman gave us some good tips about colors and applied varies tones in out of the way walls which allowed us a good idea of the effect. The project manager came by each day to check on the work and to make sure we were totally satisfied with the work being done. A complete quote was typed out and left with us beforehand so we knew exactly how much the job would cost. And that is exactly what we were charged. Altogether a job well done and at a very competitive price. Will definitely use the guys again in the future.

They did a great job and were prompt - even during the ice storm. It was a difficult job because my first floor is about 2 stories straight up. They also replastered in the cracks. They were professional. The foreman was great and made sure everything was perfect.

They did a great job although it took a little longer than we thought (turned into a 3 day project instead of 2). All I need to do is paint, which my husband and I will do ourselves. We have put off this project because we did not know of a good company to do quality work. This is the second time we have used this company. We used them March of 2013 as a subcontractor thru Laying It Down Tile who remodeled our master bathroom and used Painting and Moore for the drywall for that project. We would use them again for future projects/painting. They also painted the outside of our neighbors house in 2013.

We did find them through Angie’s List. They were great. They showed up when they said they would. They did the job they said they would and we were really happy with what they have done. The service cost was $3334 and that’s to paint the whole exterior of the house, clean the windows and replace some trim around the trim and around the door. We just have a few people come out and my husband likes them and I let him make the decision.

After getting three estimates in June, I contracted Painting and Moore to paint our house beginning the second week in November. I had a situation where an awning over the deck had to come down, a new deck built, the house/deck painted, and then the awning reinstalled. Because all of these contractors were scheduled well in advance of the actual work, I was nervous that somehow the work would not go as planned. In September, I followed up with Painting and Moore and found out the sales rep I had delt with was no longer there. I began to panic, but John Moore (owner) reasurred me that everything would go as planned and that he would personally be on site every day once the work began. He was true to his word. He met with me prior to the work beginning to discuss the house and trim color, and to answer any questions I had. The crew was exceptional! The work began on time, finished on time, and did not overrun the painting estimate I had been given. John came everyday to check on the work. Even though the gutters were not in the original contract agreement, he felt they needed painting and did it at no extra charge. At the end of every day, things were cleaned up. There was no damage to any bushes next to the house and the paint job looks great!

I selected the wrong color for two of the rooms. I asked that another color be applied and was given a selection. The were willing to take the time to discussed how the final look would be. The colors were perfect. Everyone was very professional and respectful throughout the job. I would recommed them to anyone.

Because I am a repeat customer, P&M agreed to complete this small (but important, to me!) job. The team arrived on time and completed the work quickly. They returned a few days later to complete the final touches. Overall, a great experience.

We had 4 rooms painted and the job was done to excellence. A very professional, detail-oriented crew as well. Crew did a great job with cleanup as well. We couldn't be happier with the job they did. We highly recommend Painting and Moore!

Initially, Greg came out and did a very thorough assessment of the scope of work. He created the estimate on-site and reviewed it with me. It was about 2 weeks before they could begin and Greg kept in communication with me during that time. The job took about 5 days. The foreman, Phil, was very professional and would touch base with me each morning. The work was done very meticulously and professionally. I did not pay anything until the work was completed and Greg and I did a final walk-through together. I'm very satisfied with their performance and plan to use them again for future projects.

They arrived when they said they would. They had a crew of about 6-8 people and were very efficient to get the job done. They always cleaned up well after themselves. They did an excellent job and Steve Stevens was great to work with.

There were a few communication issues at the start of the job but they were addressed and cleared up. I could not have asked for a more professional crew and they did an absolutely amazing job. They were very neat and took great care with my home and furnishings.

Super. From the estimate visit, estimate process, house power washing, and painting -- everything was superbly done, professional, on time, with excellent clean up. Couldn't be more satisified.

They came one day and pressure washed. The next day they started painting. The crew was friendly, worked hard, and communication was great. They went above and beyond. They replaced all the weatherstripping around the doors which was unexpected. Although it was not originally in the contract, they also painted the mailbox when I asked if they would. This was on a Saturday. The account manager called after the job was finished and asked that we take a day to look at the job and they would come back and follow up as needed. I asked them to put another coat on the front door which was also not in the contract. The did not accept payment until we were satisfied with the job. The final price was the same as in the estimate. Overall, we were very pleased with the service and I will use them again.

The company and the crew were great to work with. The company gave a very proffessional estimate and followed it with a very proffessional job. The crew that came out worked very quickly and were very clean. The job was done quickly and exceeded our expectations. We are very happy with their work. We even referred them to family memebers for future jobs.

The work was a 6 on a scale of 10. We are having a problem with a spot on the ceiling. They scraped the ceiling and re-painted and the spot has come back from previous water damage. They have said they will come back out and take a look at it but it is still in process. The plastic that they used to cover things up didn't work to well and there was dust everywhere. They washed their brushes on our front porch which I didn't appreciate and left stains which I now have to fix. They didn't treat my property with respect as I would have expected them to.

They offer a 5-year reasonable warranty. I think that's a very solid warranty for an exterior paint job. Their crew was professional and on time. The customer service guy came out just about everyday and kind of oversaw what was going on so I thought that was good. The head painter was very thorough. He took a lot of care not to trample my bushes and all that kind of stuff. I thought they did a great job. They actually met SouthEnd's quote within a couple of hundred dollars cheaper. I would use them again. They were very good.

Overall, the work and the crew were fantastic. The only feedback points, which are minor considering all the work done, are that my yard was not kept as clean at the end of each day as some previous reviewers had reported. It wasn't terrible, and would not be a reason NOT to use them again. Also, after a week has passed and having had more time to review, some areas of the porch (which was previously not painted nor the floors stained) have a few gaps or areas where the paint or stain is a bit thin. The crew left behind extra paint and stain, however, so I'm happy to do the minor touch-ups.
