Such a professional company! We had a great experience working with Wes and his crew at Painting & Moore. We contacted them via Angie's List, Wes responded promptly and was at our house within a few days for an estimate. Once we had an estimate (very competitively and fairly priced!), we hired the company to do the job, which was scheduled within 2 weeks of the original estimate. On the day of, the project manager promptly showed up at our house to inspect everything, left to get the paint we requested, and came back with three painters. They worked tirelessly for many hours to make sure our house looked great...and it does! Wes came back a few days later to inspect the job and to ensure everything was to our liking, which we appreciated, too. We will definitely call upon this company again in the future if/when we need any other interior/exterior work done to our home.

He was very very professional, very nice job, complete with the brochure. They were very nice. I would have hired them except this other guy. There was really nothing they didn't do just the way they should. I will not use them because I won't paint my house again probably from the time I'm going to live here.

Had read all the positive reviews here so called and met with Greg to give me an estimate. We had just purchased the home, and knew it had a significant amount of wood rot. Greg quoted us a price, that included detailed line items for replacing and repairing the wood rot that we could see. We scheduled a few months later. The first day the areas to be painted were pressure washed. The next day the crew arrived and started painting. I watched them paint over peeling paint, and notified Greg that the crew was not doing any prep work at all, just painting over what was there. The next day, late in the afternoon another representative from their company showed up (I guess to check on their work, was never clear). At that time the skies were almost black and the weather forecast was predicting severe thunderstorms. The crew continued to paint. I had to ask them several times to stop painting because of the obviously approaching storm. The supervisor (Gil?) argued with me that it was not going to rain, but they finally stopped and packed up for the day. It started raining within 10 minutes after they stopped while the paint was still wet. When I asked how this would affect the paint job, they told me that the paint is okay to get wet with rain within 15 minutes of painting. They continued painting for the next several days, then said they were 'done' and asked me to check if everything looked okay. We found many areas that they had missed painting, spilled paint on the brick, etc. When I pointed out the paint did not look good on the dormers, they told me that was because it was painted in gloss paint instead of a flat paint that is usually used on dormers. I asked why they had not recomended doing different finishes for different areas of the trim when they were doing the quote, and there was no answer. They offered to repaint the dormers in a flatter finish on top of the gloss, which agreed to. The painting crew was generally very sloppy, and the burden was put on my husband and I to find all of the areas that the painters had missed (numerous windows were not opened and painted). Even after we pointed out what had been missed, we found they still missed the same areas when we checked again. The owner and our salesperson were rude to me when I expressed my dis-satisfaction with the job. They told me they were not able to restore my house by painting it. I was not asking for that, only that they do the prep work (sanding and putting primer on areas with peeling paint), as stated in the contract. The painters were all professional and well mannered, and cleaned up the property well. My biggest complaint is on the supervision of the painters. They apparently were not told to do any kind of prep to areas with chipping paint, just paint right over it. Also when they were 'done', I expected that the crew supervisor would have looked at all of the areas before asking me to check it. The salesperson was kept saying we needed to pay them for the work, even while I was still finding areas that were missed. Maybe we had a bad crew, but overall the experience was not a good one. Update: In response to the owner's response - these are false statements and really just prove their unprofessionalism. Yes, we bought a home in need of many repairs, and we hired this company to fix the wood rot, and repaint the exterior trim of a brick home that is absolutely not falling down as stated. The simple complaint communicated to them on Day 1 of painting was that the painters were not doing prep work to the areas with peeling paint. In subsequent days they wanted me to point out every area where I was talking about - I do not feel it was my responsibility to look at every square inch of the trim on the house to point this out - I showed them examples and thought they could take it from there, yet the owner and the salesperson wanted to argue with me that I had unrealistic expectations. The contract that was written up stated that 18 areas of wood rot would be repaired, and that peeling paint would be smoothed, primed and painted. The price they gave me included all of these repairs and to me is a basic expectation of a paint job. Again, no one ever checked the work of the painters besides me and my husband, and my husband also was not happy with their work and how many times we had to explain to them what they had missed and not done properly.

Once the weather allowed Wes had his team work quickly and efficiently to finish the job. We had trim painted, siding stained & 3 decks stained. They also pressure washed beforehand. We will use this company again.

Painting and Moore had provided me a quote a couple of years ago for an exterior home painting. I ended up going with another company, but I remembered Painting and Moore's professionalism and promptness. So when it came time to get my daughter's bedroom painted in a new home we had just bought, I called them first. Unfortunately, they were scheduled out three weeks. The person I was working with, Wendy, recommended several competitors, which I thought was very helpful. Guess what, though, everyone was out at least three week - all booked solid with exterior paint jobs. Wendy said she would discuss with John, and sure enough (maybe a function of some bad weather in the forecast), John made arrangements to get it done on the date I had been trying to book. He and his crew arrived promptly and knocked out this rather small job very quickly. They took very good care to put tape down in the entire room. They also covered the floor, and laid blankets down in all hallways going up to the room they were painting. And they cleaned up superbly. $400 may seem like a lot of money for a bedroom room, but being able to schedule with less than a week's notice, the fact that his crew did an outstanding job, and that the $400 included high end paint (no VOC without even having to ask) made it all worthwhile for me.

These guys are amazing. Dealt with Greg and it was awesome. He's down to earth, extremely fair and was $200 cheaper than the next cheapest estimate. Had 4 done and he blew them all out of the water. The work was top notch and they made sure I was happy before they left.

While Greg was very courteous and tried to make things right, the quality of P & Ms crew is awful. Greg promised two coats of stain. When I came from work to observe, Toby, their lead painter, was trying to put BOTH COATS of stain on at the same time. Anyone who's done any staining knows you need to let the stain dry before adding a second coat. As a result of Tobys effort to shortcut the job, he put too much stain on and it's now leaking down through some white columns. Worse yet, he didn't use tarps on the concrete porch below one of the decks and got stain on the concrete and some rockers we had on the porch. Greg had another crew come back and repaint the columns (which I appreciate) but we are still seeing brown stain leak down from the columns. This could have been avoided if Toby had stained the deck properly in the beginning. It only gets better from here. Toby said he washed the windows but it was clear the windows were never done. Greg finally brought another crew out to clean the windows who started out by spraying water on and wiping it off with a squeegee. Had I not been there to observe how they were doing the windows, they would have left the windows streaked and looking no better than when they started. Again I commend Greg Moore for trying to make things right, however their crews have no clue when it comes to doing a quality job and in one case the individual not only did poor work but lied about having done the work to begin with. I went with P&M even though they were not the lowest price because I thought I'd get a higher quality job. I was completely wrong. Again, even though they tried to make things right, the process was very frustrating and in the end I had to pay them an extra $100 for extra stain they said they needed to cover the deck(s). I was torn on how to rate P & M as they did try very hard to do a good job. However, after seeing the stain leaking down the columns again, I just can't honestly give them a high rating. In my opinion, quality is King and thats where P & M failed. I shouldn't have to take time off work to make sure their workers do the job properly and I shouldn't have stain bleeding through the deck because it was applied improperly by one of their crew who was more interested in getting the job done fast rather than getting it done right.

Gil was prompt in his arrival and gave me a fair estimate so I hired Painting & Moore for my many small projects. Juan and Ishmael arrived on time and did a great job. They had to go over one place twice and did so without hesitation. It was a water stain above my shower. All were very polite and professional and I will definitely hire this company again!

First of all we live in a 80 yr old farmhouse that was added onto in the 80?s and so the siding was old and faded. We also had a porch that had not been touched in 25 years, rotting paint etc.. They came out gave us an estimate and worked with our budget! Which is unheard of these days.. They painted the vinyl on the outside and it looks like a new house! I could go on and on but they did such a fantastic job, the head painter worked with our schedule on the inside and was so courteous and professional. They cleaned up every day and showed on time every morning! these guys are great and if we need painting will use them in the future!

Quick response on estimate. Painters did a great job -- pressure wash, small repair, done in 4 hours, great clean up. The entire project went very smoothly -- thanks Greg and Jonathan!

The total cost of the job was $100 lower than the estimate they provided.

The work was professionally done, but during the review of the work with the contractor, he saw several items he was not satisfied with. He called the crew back out to correct those problems. Note, he had to point out the errors to me, because I was ready to pay for a job well done. That is professionalism at its best.

This was the nicest group of painters I've ever had. Jon Moore was prompt, fair, and inspected all work. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Very happy with it from start to finish.

They were a pleasure to work with, and of the few things that were not done correctly they came back and fixed it with no questions. Highly recommended.

Did an excellent paint job in a timely manner. Three guys arrived early each morning and worked hard every day, they were very courteous and it was a good price compared to other contractors who bid for the job. I would highly recommend Painting & Moore.

Painters were very friendly and made sure to cover bathroom fixtures, etc, so as to ensure paint did not contaminate anything. I did have to call them back to paint a newly installed interior bathroom door and they were again professional and courteous. I am happy with my paint job overall.

I'm a retired Marketing Mgr. I know what it takes to have a successful business. In order to remain a shade above your competitors, you must have CUSTOMER SERVICE. That's exactly what PAINTING & MOORE exemplifies. It all started with squeezing me in between other jobs because they knew time was of the essence for me. Communication was another plus with Gil (Project Mgr) keeping me updated with scheduling and selection of colors. The paint crew were fantastic. Attention to detail is something I've always been conscious of. I didn't have to watch them, say anything because they did an unbelievable job. They were friendly and courteous. After the job was finished, I did my own inspection and I didn't find a single flaw in their project. As a customer, I was exceptionally pleased.

They pressure cleaned the deck and applied high quality deck paint from Sherwin Williams. The work was done extremely well. Excellent attention to detail. I'm very pleased with the outcome and enjoying my new deck.

Of the three painters we contacted, Greg was the only one that showed-up on-time and without rescheduling. He was responsive to questions and provided requested information. He was willing to discuss options and offer alternatives. Painting and Moore was also the cheapest of the three bids. Saul led the paint crew and he was fantastic. He and his guys arrived early and stayed late. He took pride in his work and ran a well seasoned crew. The workers were polite, tidy, and respectful of the property. Saul spoke with me frequently to confirm decisions and check my satisfaction with the progress. He was willing to repaint areas I felt were not to my standards. The final walk-through of the project was amazing and produced a flawless job. I highly recommend Saul and his team.

Saul and team were very professional and easy to work with. They did a thorough job with all the prep work and the finished product looks fantastic. I would highly recommend.

Wes's professionalism and helpful attitude was a tough act to follow but enter their painters, Erick and Zenon. These two wonderful young men neatly moved all of our furniture off (and we have a bunch of heavy furniture on the deck) pressure washed the deck and, after a rain delay of one day, quickly and efficiently stained, repaired several wood pieces and cleaned up! (although there wasn't much clean up since they worked so neatly!) They were the most friendly, polite, EFFICIENT and careful painters I have ever had the pleasure to work with! When I asked when I could put furniture back on the deck and asked if they could help us. Erick felt it best to wait overnight. My heart sank realizing I would have to find some strong guys to help me the next day, But these two young men even came back early the next morning at 7 am before their next job started to help me move the heavy furniture back up on the deck! Who does that!? Amazing customer service! Ask for Erick and Zenon when you have your painting done...they are the best! Above and beyond my expectations. Painting and Moore and specifically Erick and Zenon are my painters now! A+++
