About us

Moving Details, Inc. provides customized packing services to assist our clients during a move. We can pack the entire house or just certain areas such as the kitchen. There is a three hour minimum work time required. Within the Charlotte, NC area we offer free estimates so you'll know what the costs will be. We deliver all needed materials too. Our packing service affords peace of mind, efficiency, and takes a lot of stress out of moving. We pack with unpacking in mind because we've learned from experience that it makes a difference in resettling to be able to have items in familiar locations. Call Moving Details when you need to have your home, or just certain areas like the kitchen, unboxed quickly. Just bagging the packing paper and flattening the cartons makes a big difference, but we'll put things away for you. If you aren't sure where things should go, you can draw on our experience to organize your home. After all, what better time is there to have things neat and well placed? The service was excellent and the price quite reasonable for the scope of work. I cannot recommend Edna Huneycutt and Moving Details highly enough. I will definitely use her services again.
Description of Work: I found Moving Details on AngiesList! The owner, Edna Huneycutt, came to my apartment first to give an estimate for unpacking 48 moving boxes and putting away all the stuff. She estimated that it would take two people six hours to do the job. It actually took longer but she honored her estimate. Edna and a colleague worked their magic while I was at work and I came home to complete order! They unpacked everything, put it away in logical places, and removed all packing materials. They even assembled utility shelves in the garage that I had not gotten around to doing. Amazing!
