Morris-Jenkins is a family-owned and operated air conditioning and heating company established in Charlotte in 1958. And everything we do revolve around our customers. Today Morris-Jenkins is the largest provider of air conditioning and heating services in the region and one of the largest in the nation. But we haven't outgrown our small town beginnings.
Ty B.and Brandon A. represent the best of what Morris Jenkins stands for. I have been doing business with Morris Jenkins since 2007 and have been impressed and well satisfied with sales representative Alan, installers, customer service reps over the phone, and service techs who inspect, clean, and service my equipment to keep it running like new. Every review I have written has been stellar for Morris Jenkins and their team. But I am writing this review because these two gentlemen have perfected the quality, customer service, and and care that Mr. Jenkins requires in his business model. Yesterday Ty arrived promptly and began standard maintenance on all of my equipment. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable and as always a huge advocate of his company. I always take time to talk to every tech and I always want to know how long they have worked for MJ and their future plans with the company. Ty was no different from all the others and loves his job with MJ. I always end up in the basement for a bit with the tech to inspect the whole house filter and make a decision on replacement. Ty was closing up the unit, and then I observed him taking the condensation pump from the furnace and I asked why? He explained it is routine and he was going to inspect it and clean it. I explained that in all my years with MJ, to my knowledge it had never been taken apart and cleaned...and when he finally got it loose, one look inside revealed I was correct. The entire unit was filled with crud and was in bad need of cleaning. I am surprised it never failed....but give credit to the quality parts MJ uses. Ty took it outside and used some of the same chemicals he cleaned my AC with and had it looking like new. While he was placing the unit I decided to contact my friend who actually was an installer for MJ, but is now a district supervisor. I sent him a photo of the unit before it was cleaned in hopes he would use it to explain to others the importance of cleaning this unit. Even more important, I wanted him to know how impressed I was with Ty and his methodical approach to his job....leaving no stone unturned. Brandon simply text back and ask if Ty was still there, which he was. The next thing I see is Ty coming around the corner with a brand new pump. Brandon had informed him that this pump should be replaced since required maintenance had not been completed on this unit in the past.....and it was to be replaced at company expense....again...the MJ way! This is alone is enough for me to write this most positive review. After working in the attic, Ty asks to speak to me and shows me a photo of bubbles from a gas pipe. This pipe had been installed before MJ and had developed a slow leak. He was not looking for it, but his nose found it. Though he felt he might be able to make the repair on his own, he really wanted to bring in an MJ expert in duct work and gas lines ( they have experts in everything). I was surprised to find Ty back this

Kevin Payne was very professional while proforming the AC safety check. We decided to get the monthly service maintenance package that will allow our old Heating/AC system to last a lot longer. Kevin even introduced the new Nest carbon monoxide unit to us. It was a very educational visit. Thanks Kevin!

The only company that listened to issues and did actual design work to improve the system not just replace the existing setup.

These guys were great. On time, professional and tidy work. They only had one model of hot water tank, high end, so don't expect the replacement hot water system to be less than $3k but, great work on the install and removal of old unit.

Bobby was knowledgeable and explained what he was doing and why. He spoke in an easily understandable way and showed what he was doing as he worked to repair gas furnace. He is an extremely pleasant and customer oriented technician. I will be requesting him for all future work orders.

My tech was extremely thorough, and caught issues that previous techs from other companies had not. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, so I knew what was happening every step of the way. Everything is now working perfectly!

My technician was very courteous and knowledgeable about the services he was performing, as all of my Morris Jenkins technicians have been in the past. My issue with this company, while I believe they do a good job, is that every time a technician has come out to my home to either check or inspect my furnace and/or central air unit, I have been advised and made to feel that I needed to purchase a part or service to help either unit operate more efficiently. In other words I always feel like I'm being sold or that I need something. As a person who knows nothing about either heating or central air units I'm putting my trust in the technician and the company Morris Jenkins to be honest and upfront with me. It is almost hard to believe, in my opinion, that both of my systems have the issues that have been described to me. Of course there will always be things a customer can do to make either system run more efficient but I just feel like I've been made to feel that if I don't make a purchase that my systems will stop working properly. It almost makes me feel like the technicians have just as much of an emphasis on selling you as they do on checking for repairing your system. These are just my thoughts but I have talked to several other more stink ass customers who have expressed the same views.
