Description of Work: The toilet was seated improperly on the existing pipe and flange. Brian Long had to go under the house, cut out existing lead pipe and replace the top of the pipe with PVC. He replaced the flange and all the parts that seat the toilet properly to the floor. All to find out I needed a new toilet. I will still ask for Brian to come back and fit the new toilet in. He did a wonderful job.

+ -1 moreThey were earlier than they thought that they would be because of a cancellation. They did a great job. Very polite and answered all questions. This was sort of an emergency and they came out the next day that the problem was noticed. We will use them again.

+ -1 morePolite, on time, and quite knowledgeable! Good prices, $1500 from Dan King, $1495 from another company, and these guys quoted $1200.
Description of Work: Great price and great experience! Although I did not end up using them because of a credit I had with another company, they did spot an error with my water heater installation which may have saved me some big bucks down the road. I would have definitely used Jim had my previous company not followed through on a credit that was due to me.

+ -1 moreWorkman arrived promptly and began work immediately, but talked only to flooring installer when he arrived, and didn't bother to introduce himself to the homeowner. He replaced the refill mechanism, which needed it, but didn't notify the homeowner until the final bill. Aside from these two items, and the accompanying sticker shock, I am very pleased with the work performed.
Description of Work: Reset two toilets after flooring replacement, replacing floor collars and wax seals. Replaced refill mechanism on one toilet.

They did such a great job, were so professional and quick about it, I'm going to hire them to do additional work (put a spicket in my backyard and fix some pipes in my kitchen.) I was most impressed that I called and got an appointment on the same day and that the work took less than an hour.

You can't put a price on that kind of professionalism and integrity.

+ -1 moreThe guys came out and there was a bit of confusion about the scope of the work. For the price I expected them to replace the galvanized drain for the toilet too b/c I was replacing the floor. After some negotiation we figured out a way for them to come back out after I finished the floor. All in all it worked out and they fixed some stuff a previous plumber had done wrong. The guys were nice but probably aren't too used to homeowners who do their own work and need a few minutes to decide the best approach as I didn't realize the floor height was an important issue to how the job was done.
Description of Work: Moved water lines to toilet and vanity into wall where they should have been (old house poorly remodeled bathroom in the past). They also repaired the drain for the vanity and made it fit into the wall as well where before it was sticking out.

Description of Work: The pin that you push in to start the shower was pushed out by the water's pressure. The plumber took apart the shower assembly and reinserted the pin.

+ -1 moreDO NOT USE THE COMPANY. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED LIKE THIS FROM ANY COMPANY.
Description of Work: Used Company a number of times over the last 4 years. Called to have them check out problem with disposal, I had two facet handles that need parts. Tim came out fix disposal and order parts. Told my wife that when the parts came in they would install them and that it would not be a service charge, because it would only take 15 minutes. Plumber Ron came out to install parts and torn a part the complete facet, which did not need to be done to replace parts. It took him 1 and half hours, he got under sink, and everything could have been fixed from above. All that was needed to do was pull off the handle and replace a plastic cover that the handle fits over. Ron would not listen to my wife, when she asked him to call Tim. Mr Jim Dickerson calls me about the bill I told him I was willing to pay him for 1/2 hour of work. Mr. Jim Dickerson got very rude and angry. I could not believe how he talked to me. He threaten to put a lean against my house for $162.00.

+ -1 moreWe called and a plumber came out in 2 days, right on time. He called before he arrived like we asked him to. He wore booties over his boots to protect our carpets. He was very polite and informative. We thought the price was reasonable, since he had to make several adjustments to the toilet in addition to replacing the flapper.
Description of Work: Toilet wasn't flushing properly. The flapper wouldn't close. We had tried changing the flapper ourselves with many different types of flappers from Lowe's, but it still wouldn't close. The plumber replaced the flapper with a special one that wasn't available at Lowe's or other retail stores. Toilet now works perfectly.

+ -1 moreThe technician was prompt for the appointment. He quickly diagnosed the problem, but said the expansion tank was rare for residential hot water heaters. He left to buy the needed parts, and returned within an hour. He ended up also installing the expansion tank because he said he called the manufacturer and they recommended it. The water heater has not leaked since the repairs were made. Overall, a good experience.
Description of Work: Hot water heater was leaking from the pressure/temperature emergency release valve. Technician concluded that the household water pressure regulator had stopped working properly. He replaced the pressure regulator, T&P release valve, and added an expansion tank.
