Very happy with their work. We first had them out a month or so ago for three different problems that we had. They were able to fix one problem right away and said they were going to have to order a part for the shower. They found the part out in California and it was going to cost $200. We decided to replace the whole thing instead. They came out, fixed the problem and were very professional. The final bill came out $50 less than the estimate!

Very well. They know exactly what to do, had the parts, did not waste time, took care of the problem and moved on.

Jim came out and estimated the job. He provided an estimate the following morning and scheduled the work the same day. It was very helpful that Jim could get it done promptly as I had other work that had to wait until the tub was installed. The workers arrived on time and were very helpful. They also noticed a crack in the tub that I had bought at Lowes. They went to lunch as I returned and replaced the tub.

A call back was fast and appt set up that same day. Tim showed up in the 4 hour window allotted. I was told on the phone that no quotes were done; prices were $115 hour. After 2.25 hours, Tim had used a snake to drain both the bathroom sinks, replaced one of the faucets and fixed the leak in the shower. He said the low pressure had to do with rust buildup in the pipes and could not be fixed unless all piping replaced. I am not a plumber, so do not know if this is the appropriate time to complete these fixes. Here is my disappointment: Hidden costs. Apparently there is a 15 minute drive time and a $5 gas charge added to the bill. Also a $35 charge to use the snake to clear buildup. Beware of what you are getting into price wise ahead of time. I complained to Tim about this and he said that he had heard this before. I feel a little taken advantage of but guess I will know better next time to ask as many detailed questions as I can ahead of time.

Couldn't be happier. Plumber responded immediately & service tech was on time. Tech was a consummate professional. Felt totally comfortable with his presence in my home & the work performed was superb. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this plumber or technician & intend to refer all future home plumbing work to them. Price for the work accomplished was actually a bit less than I expected.

I called this morning first thing, and they came before 9!

He did a good job. There is one thing he has to come back to take care of but other than that the job was fine. I would use him again.

I went pretty well. The problem was fixed in a timely, professional manner. Meeting the technician was a little frustrating because they have a policy of not giving out the cell phone numbers of their technicians.

Called and was able to get someone to come out the next day. Plumber who came out was very nice, professional and did a good job. However, he was very slow and when the bill was presented it was $423.15 for nearly 4 hours. We thought this was quite high for something we were told would take one to one-and-a-half hours. My husband contacted the company and they lowered the bill to $293.15.

The experience exceeded my expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend Dickerson Plumbing.

The plumber was relatively on time, and was very friendly and courteous. He explained the problem and offered a few solutions, carefully pointing out the advantages and disadvantages of each. I went with the most expensive option, but I am glad I did.

I waited an hour and half after leaving a voice mail and never received a call back. I called another service provider to do the work.

I was able to get an appointment easily and the plumber came on time. He was able to thoroughly explain what was going on with the pipes in the attic. And he fixed it quickly. I had extreme confidence in his work.

They did an excellent job. They came quickly and were very professional. It needed some adjustment after they left, and they came back quickly to repair it. I was very pleased with them and the people they sent out. I would definitely use them again.

I called them in the morning, and they had a fellow over by lunchtime who replaced a couple of gaskets and fixed the problem.

They had to remove all of the old PVC pipe and install all new piping in my home. It was a 2 1/2 day operation and the entire time both gentlemen during the work were very professional and courteous around my home. They took the time to see how they could have the least amount of impact on the existing structure of the home. Very thoughtful and hardworking, I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to others.

I called Dickerson and they sent someone out to the house. I had construction going on in the house but I myself was not there. I was billed for 2 hours and later learned the rep had left to buy some basic item for plumbing, billing me for time. The same individual came out the next day and I was there this time. I was absolutely appalled, he told me the dishwasher did not have all the supplies (which we found together to his surprise inside the new dishwasher), he could not fix tub, would not go under house for water on refrigerator. I called Jim Dickerson and he too was surprised. After a few more service technicians to the house, no joke still had 2 more come, we finally got it all done. Now I called in my own plumbing inspection and hopefully that passes, they did not call it in on their behalf but I have had this experience with several plumbers. Updated kitchen requires plumbing inspection as does replacement of hot water heater.

They promptly called back & scheduled a plumber for the morning. The plumber arrived, walked down the stairs, and said something about the power to the pump. My wife quickly recalled that we flipped a breaker the day before which we thought controlled only a couple of wall outlets. She threw the breaker and the issue was resolved. Total time: 3.5 minutes. He charged $100 (their 1 hr minimum), $5 for gas and was about to deny us a $15 Angie s List discount if we could not produce a coupon - which we finally did. He then used our upstairs bathroom and sat in his truck in our driveway for 35 minutes. Here's the deal - and the reason for an "F" rating. Even if they choose to be totally inflexible about the 1 hour minimum, it takes some real nerve to hit us for the $5 gas charge and look to deny the $15. Moreover, the 1 hour min for 4 minutes of work is ridiculous. I hope an "F" on Angie's List is a fair exchange for their rigid charging and disregard for fairness.

He was on time and very efficient. I was very happy with the way he did his job and he was patient in answering my questions.

At 11:00, we noticed leaking in the basement and in the flower bed. I called Dickerson and they had someone at my house by 11:30. The plumber worked quickly, digging through the mud and water, removing a little shrubbery and finding the source of the problem. By 12:30, the break was fixed, the water was back on, and a potential flood in my finished basement was averted. The plumber was polite, efficient, and honest.

Called the firm due to ranking in Angie's List. Service tech who came out was great, very helpful. When I got the estimate from Jim Dickerson he quoted $600 per toilet and $1,300 to replace a 40 gallon water heater. Another several hundred to upgrade to 65 gallon water heater. Asked for break down of materials vs. labor. Never heard back. Very disappointed given their ranking.

They were expert plumbers, they brought the equipment for the job and got the job done.

Tim arrived well within the scheduled time frame and listened to what we needed to complete our project. After a few moments of serious thought, he proceeded to re-plumb under the new sink to provide us with the necessary pipes, etc. He was wonderful in performing the work so that we ended up with maximum storage space under the sink and were able to keep our pull-out tray which stores cleaning products.

It went very well overall. They performed the service while I was at work and left the well hooked up to certain external faucets for pool and lawn water (which was expected). It took a day to install and a day for inspection, then it was covered up. The price was good and their customer service is excellent. The only problem I had was that they switched off my well pump underneath the house and did not turn it back on. Bigger problem than it should have been, because I did not know the switch existed. I realized that there was no power to the pump and called Jim. He sent someone out to review the work, but all I got out of it was "we don't think we cut the power line." I was unaware of the switch, so I dug up the line myself, eventually found the switch underneath the house. I did a lot of work because someone switched it off didn't remember to turn it back on. I think that when a job is done, the job should be complete, the customer should not have to figure out the problems.

When we needed hot water in our basement, we wasted gallons of water waiting for the hot water to get there from the attic. We spoke with Jim Dickerson about the problem and asked for his advice on what (if anything) we could do to get hot water there faster. He suggested installing a pump next to the hot water heater that would have a time clock that could be programmed twice a day to begin circulating hot water through the plumbing throughout the house. The pump was installed in the attic and the tie-in was installed under the bathroom sink in the basement. We set the time clock for the times that we knew we needed hot water each day. We now not only have instantaneous hot water at peak times in the basement, but throughout the rest of the house as well.
