Great experience. Debbie did an excellent job in bidding the project and in providing the details of the bid to me for comparison. I checked their pricing for parts with the manufacturer and for installation with Lowe's, and in both cases found it to be competitive and honest. For future reference, customers should be careful when comparing them to Lowe's as Dickerson quotes a "turn key" price, including all extras and add-ons, while the initial quote from Lowe's did not include permits, additional fittings required by code changes, haul away charges, etc. In addition to quality pricing, this company provides quality service. The installation team was on the job at exactly the time promised, they were neat and thorough in all respects, and they left the home in perfect shape. In fact, it was difficult to tell that anyone had been there as they vacuumed up after themselves, etc. All in all, a good experience. Jim Dickerson plumbing will be my plumber from now on!

He is very pleasant and clean cut. They are always on time. He seems to be trustworthy and there have been no problems.

The estimates were given over the phone, and the first job was quoted as $850. We agreed to move forward with the first job, and scheduled a time for the plumber to come out. The plumber's work was adequate, but he was here only 2 hours. He showed my husband how to turn on the gas fireplace (an older model; nothing was wrong), repaired the pipe in the crawlspace, capped the existing plumbing, and said "it looks like your shower pan is leaking." My husband asked for the amount due, and the plumber said, "Well, it says $850 on my papers" so he gave him the check. When I later realized that nothing was done with the shower pan, and a two hour visit should not have cost more than $800, my husband called back to discuss the matter. Jim Dickerson agreed to have another plumber come out and look at the shower pan again to find the source of the leak. That plumber did a test and found the area that was leaking, and said the only way to fix that kind of leak was to tear out the entire shower and replace it. He was here approximately 30 minutes. When my husband called Jim Dickerson again to request an accounting of the time and costs associated with the work performed, Jim replied "Well, this was a "bid job" not an estimate." What? We have no idea what a "bid job" is, and had specifically requested an "estimate" for the work, with the understanding that we would pay an hourly rate + materials, which could have ended up higher or lower than the original estimate. We used Jim Dickerson Plumbing in the past at another home, and were pleased with the work performed and the amount charged for the work. However, after this experience, we will never be using Jim Dickerson Plumbing again as we will not work with a company we can't trust.

Called Thursday morning and the tech arrived that afternoon. Was unable to complete the work due to not having the spacer kit on the truck, nor a toilet. Came the following morning as planned. Finished the job efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. Although I mentioned Angie's List and the previous utilization of Dickerson previously I did not receive the advertised discount.

I called at 7:30, and they had sent out someone to give me an estimate since they couldn't find the model number I had provided. They were also unsure if it was a 1 or 2 person job since it was located in a crawlspace. When he came, he gave me a price and said it could be done by 1 person. The second person arrived with the new heater at 1:00; it took about 2 hours. The first person had helped me set up the hose to drain the tank, so that made it go more quickly. When he finished, he showed me how to adjust the thermostat, etc. Both folks were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I feel I could have done better on the price, but we were leaving the next day and I really didn't want to deal with that when we got back. I really appreciated the fact they could come the same day.

We were having to take cold showers. They sent someone out right away and fixed the problem. I have no complaints.

Replaced toiled "innards," which produced a leak in the toilet shut off valve (circa 1950s). Called Jim Dickerson Sunday evening & left message. They called us Monday morning, sent a repairman first thing, who promptly replaced the old shut off valve and pipe coming up from basement to toilet. Job done by mid-morning!

Very well. He was very knowledgeable about questions I had about future work, and he offered different options to consider.

Excellent experience. Plumber was professional and made the repairs quickly. He cleaned up after himself. The most pleasant repair experience I've ever had.

Two men showed up on time (two because there are steps involved) and a third later (an electrician). They all showed up on time. The main office called a few times to confirm when they would arrive and who they were. The installation was neat and clean, with no scratches on floors or walls.

It got to the point that I had to speak with a manager. They just weren't very professional with how they handled things.

He was late and had flat tire, and failed to do 1/2 of the things of list.

The plumber was right on time and quickly disassembled our shower head. He thoroughly cleaned the various parts and determined that the issue was our shower head and it needed to be replaced. He carefully explained what pieces we need to purchase, and how to install. He was absolutely professional and speedy.

I had a leak under the sink and also wanted to replace the kitchen faucet. I called at 7:00 am and their representative was at my house 90 minutes later. He worked about 1 1/2 hours and did a professional job.

He spent about an hour trying to figure out where the leak was coming from because the leak was below the flooring. He was unable to fix anything and gave me suggestions instead. He did a thorough job trying to find the leak he checked all over!

They were responsive and professional. They charged by the job.

I called Wednesday around 4:00 and they had someone come out first thing the next day. He called 15 min. before he showed up (on time) and worked quickly and efficiently. There was a broken gasket on the faucet I purchased and he was able to fix it with a part he had. Very friendly and great work!

Wonderful experience. Left a voicemail and the call was promptly returned. The plumber showed up on-time and was even friendly to our two year old who was very curious.

Great experience. When I called for service, the customer service rep asked me for info regarding the water heater model and serial number (none of the other companies had requested this info). Additionally, she told me that the parts were under warranty and when I told her that I had obtained the number from Angie's List, she told me about the coupon in the magazine. The technician was prompt and did the work quickly. It is great to have hot water again!

Plumber used the snake on two toilets. He was here for a total of 30 minutes.

These guys were fabulous. I called for a non-emergency problem. I told them no rush, sometime this week is fine. Well, within 30 minutes, I got a call from the driver and he was at my door within another 30 minutes. He fixed my drain-clearing problem, and I also had him install a water cut off valve in my house. (My house is 60 years old and the existing one was rusted "on".) I thought the billing was very fair. I'll definitely use them again.

I called this morning and even though it was not an emergency, they had a plummer at my home within the hour. Brian was prompt, efficient and very courteous. Paper shoe covers were used a all times. He was creative in solving the problem. Great experience. They are at the top of my list for any future trouble!

Response was very fast. Called on Sunday night and left message. They called at 7:15AM on Monday and were at the house at 8:00AM! Used power auger to clear hair in the line. Plumber was very nice and knowledgeable. He was in/out in under 30 minutes. Good job, just wish they didn't charge the $10, "gas" fee. Should be built into the hourly fee as they were not here 30 minutes and their minimum is an hour labor. I am very pleased with the job they performed and would hire them again.

He came quickly, I would use him again.

The leaky faucet was fairly involved. In fact, the guy had to make 2 trips and had to replace everything. That was worth the $500 I paid. The Shower head was an easy fix and only took a few minutes. I was kind of shocked when he told me the bill was $125, even though I provided the parts.
