I sent an e-mail request and received a call within 10 minutes to schedule a appointment within 2 hours. Plumber arrived on time. He reviewed the situation, described what was needed and proceeded with the fixes upon my approval. Work completed within 2 hours. I would definitely use their services again.

The disposal was the driver of my calling for a plumber. It would run quietly (sounds like something is moving, but not chopping up the food) & then quit altogether. When I push reset button, it would run for a few secs & quit again. The plumber "fixed" it, however 2 weeks later after running it 2 or 3 times lightly (definately no misuse on my part after the repair) the exact same thing was happening. Plumber came back out & said the warrantly was for 3 days from the repair. Maybe that makes sense for some, but I live alone & disposal doesn't even get turned on but once a week or so. I ran it before he left the 1st time, but not with food in it. Now - for $250 more (on top of what I spent 2 weeks ago) the disposal has been replaced. I am disappointed with the service. I would expect at least a little off the labor for the fact that the 1st fix didn't last what I would consider an appropriate amount of time. Jim Dickerson Plumbing did major repiping work for me as part of a renovation a few years ago - which was pricy, but fair & I was happy with that service. However I will not use them again for small repairs.

Very happy with their work - called at end of day Thursday to inquire about replacing leaking water heater - provided estimate of replacement Friday morning and had team on site by 10am to begin work - team was very professional and did great job explaining options - will continue to use Jim Dickerson for all our plumbing work

We had especially low water pressure in the house. This company came out the same day, listened closely to our explanation of the problem then got to work. They had to replace a part that regulates the water pressure, which has been common in our neighborhood. The service person worked for about 45 minutes and had the part needed with him. Cost of the part was about $100.00. They also honored the Angie's List coupon.

Excellent - I called for information yesterday. Scott and Jason came today and did the work. They also cleaned up after the work very well! I had used Dickerson a few years ago for some plumbing work and will use them again.

They were very prompt and provided excellent service. They were also very professional and I would definitely use them again. The person that I spoke with from the office was very cordial, polite, and very professional as well.

I called Jim Dickerson Plumbing on Thursday and an appointment was scheduled for Saturday afternoon. I pulled down the ceiling exposing the section of pipe and removing the wet insulation. Fabio arrived about 30 minutes after the scheduled time and found the problem immediately. He completed the work in an hour and no more leaks. He was very courteous and clean up water and all parts. I would definitely use Jim Dickerson again.

The plumber was prompt, pleasant and competent. All work was completed and there was no ''''mess" left behind. Furthermore, he was great with my dogs (two collies).

He did very well. Everything went great. They came when they said they would, and I was glad to use a coupon from the Angie's List magazine.

Our appointment was for 8:00am. Scott called at 7:50, and said he would arrive in 10 minutes, which he did, as promised and right on time. He was friendly and efficient. I would definitely hire Jim Dickerson Plumbing & Electrical again!

The employee called and notified us when they would arrive and were very courteous and professional. He thoroughly checked the areas to be converted for gas and gave us an estimate. I mentioned that we needed an electrician to convert the current electrical outlet under the electric cooktop. He called the electrician that works for the company and scheduled the appt. the same day. The electrician was excellent and completed the work within an hour. He explained everything he did and gave me an estimate on a future job we would like done. We decided to go with someone else on the gas plumbing job, as the estimate was higher. But there service was excellent.

They are efficient and nice to work with. It's always a good experience.

there was a mixup with scheduling with the original appointment, but they were able to reschedule the next day, the electrician was prompt the next day and found my problem very quickly - resolved the issue and did extra work since they had to charge me for a one hour minimum. i was happy with the experience except for the original appointment which wasted several hours of my time.

The experience was very good, they always arrived on time, and their estimates were right on the money. They do not over charge you.

any extras were priced outrageously so i shouldn't have expected any difference. on two other occasions i flatly refused his price and stated a lower price which he accepted but why should i or any homeowner be forced to take that action. i find that many providers, once they get a good Angie's List rating let the rating go to their heads and price sheets. i feel this is definitely a case in point. the major jobs were performed well. i should have fallen back to my regular plumber at that point. i must say the fine work was overruled by the negative pricing experiences and for that i am sorry. i'd have preferred to be able to write a glowing report but that cannot be.

On time, great technician, everything went great.

It was great. He came out and reseated it. It went great. There were no problems. He came out the day I called.

I have used them a few times before for plumbing. They are very responsive. When I need somebody they have somebody here. They are always professional. They show up when they say they would and explain what they do. They are terrific.

I called company at 8:30 am, left my name and phone number with Marty, asked her to call me back, after seeing a company truck at my neighbors house. Marty never called back, and I had to then call my neighbor to speak with plumber, Brian, about my job. I mentioned that the office had not called me back. Brian, the plumber, said he would call the office, and get back to me. After calling the office, he drove across the street to my house, 20 minutes later, after finishing up the job across the street. I showed him the broken pipe, and he then went out to the truck, grabbed the plastic replacement parts, and fixed the pipe with ease in a matter of minutes. At no time did he provide an estimate, for services or parts, nor did I request one, to be fair. Upon completion, I was presented with an invoice for $141.50 which was for, $6.50 for the parts, and $135 for labor. When I questioned him on the charge, he stated that $135 was the minimum charge, and he was sorry that nobody told me that before he started. I paid him for his services, and then immediately called the company, to express my dismay at what I was being charged. Marty ( the scheduler and manager), explained the minimum charge $135, and admitted not giving me the information before Brian, came over. I have used several plumbers over the years, and the most I have ever paid for a minimum charge was $85. Please note, that Brian, the plumber was, 50 yards from my house when I called, and he was only in my home, for under 20 minutes, and at no time gave me an estimate for services. When I called in, and spoke with Marty, and mentioned my discontent, she was non sympathetic, and had an attitude, of not caring for the customer. At no time did she mention the coupon offered on Angies list, as a way to offset the high charge, nor did she offer some sort of reduced fee, for thier error, in not providing an estimate, before doing the job. $135 per hour is more than my doctor earns, It is an outrageous fee, almost unthinkable in today's world. I would have never thought in a million years that $135, would have been the minimum. To recap, no estimate given, and admittance of wrong doing, and no sympathy for the customer. I will not be calling Jim Dickerson Plumbing in the future. If I had known that I was going to be charged for the full hour ( $135), I would have had Brian, change for, $6.50 in parts all the other traps in my house, that might be rusted out as well. At no time did Brian offer to fix anything else, with the remainder of the hour, that was being billed at $135. Not the way to do business, in my opinion. So the moral of the story, get an estimate, before hand, and expect to be billed at $135/ hour

He is very nice to work with! He does high quality work. They never have to come out more than once for a job, as they fix it right the first time.
