We came home from a out of town conference to find a slow dripping leak coming from our ceiling kitchen. When we first called the dispatcher (Marty) at first said they might not be able to get to us until the next day which was understandable as we were calling mid-day. When my wife told her we at least had where the problem was narrowed down, she said she would try and get someone out to us that day - which she did. The technician (Fabio) went step by step identifying the source, which was not easy as it was a very slow leak and could have been coming from a number of places. The technician was extremely professional and personable. The dispatcher than followed up later in the day to make sure everything was to our satisfaction - could not ask for better service.

I contacted Dickerson Plumbing the afternoon of the 11th and they scheduled an appointment for the following morning between 8-9am. Joe, the plumber, arrived at ~8:30. He was very nice, even played with my dogs and quickly assessed the situation and determined the problem. He told me I had two options for pipe replacement and that the less expensive of the two, in his experience, worked very well. Naturally I chose the less expensive pipe and he fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes and my toilet works fine now. He explained exactly what he did and what was included in the bill. He was super nice, professional, friendly and prompt. He did the job quickly and left no mess. I highly recommend this company and if you are lucky enough to get Joe, you won't be disappointed. I think my boxer wanted to leave with him!

Overall, the service was excellent and I would highly recommend this company.

I am highly satisfied with this company. He is extremely honest and professional. He got things done that others have not been able to do. His staff is also knowledgeable and very helpful. They are prompt. It was everything I could expect in a service provider.

Jim Dickerson called to tell me they were on their way and arrived on time. Tim, who performed the service, was very pleasant and professional. The installation took about an hour and he did a great job. I have used this company before and, even though their prices may be a little on the high side, I will continue to use them in the future. You get what you pay for - quality service.

The plumber determined the problem was with the washer itself, not the plumbing. This was kind of a relief to me to know the plumbing was fine, because the house is only 5 years old. I've very happy with the service and would not hesitate to use Jim Dickerson's Plumbing again.

Way too expensive. I called Jim Dickerson Plumbing because they were listed on the A.O. Smith website and they had high Angie's List ratings. Was told that the hourly labor charge was $140.00 and that was the minimum fee to come to the house. When I questioned this amount I was told that it was a "middle of the road" cost for plumbers in the area. I scheduled an appointment expecting a final cost of $140 plus parts. The plumber was here yesterday for a bit over one hour--but the invoice indicated 1 3/4 hours labor--all billed at the $140 rate. I was then told that "travel time" was added to the time actually spent on the repair. This was never mentioned previously, nor was the $5.00 "Gas Charge" that was also tacked on to the bill. We called the office and the $5.00 gas charge was deducted as was a $15.00 Angie's List coupon that I printed but I still felt that the labor charges were way out of line. The part cost $33.00 which seemed reasonable. The water heater is now working fine, but I still resent paying almost $100 more than what was a high cost to begin with.

Quality of work seems to be high. However he stayed 2 hours for what every one told should be a 45 minute job and his price for what seemed like a few dollars of parts was over $80. If you use them, which I think you should, be sure to get an accurate quote and maybe offer to supply the parts. My parts were; less than a foot of plastic pipe and 8 plastic pipe clamps.

It worked out pretty well. It was very extensive. They were very very good.

Kitchen ceiling leak started around 12:15. Called Jim Dickerson plumbing within 15 minutes. Plumber arrived around 2 pm. Issue identified and resolved by 2:45 or so.

Showed up promptly. Suggested a change to the drain/vent in kitchen. Completed both jobs in under 21/2 hours. Overall very satisfactory work.

Scott came out the day after my call. He called and gave me a time he would be at my location. He didn't waste time figuring out what was happening. He solved the mystery as to why the light wasn't working and fixed it. He also gave me an estimate for another job, too high for me.

Since I had used Dickerson Plumbing before I was confident that I could use them again and be pleased with the service. My kitchen faucet was dripping (actually it was more like a steady stream) and also one of the bathtub faucets. I called about 7:30am on Monday and made an appointment for between 1-4 pm that was convenient for me. Fabio showed up about 3:30 and made kitchen repair within 10 min. The bathtub took longer since he did not have the correct washer size but Fabio said that he would come back the next day with correct item (My faucets are over 20 years old) Jim called me on Tuesday and advised that plumber was on the way to finish the job.Jeff R showed up and had the faucet repaired within 15 minutes. I plan on doing some upgrades and I intend to use Dickerson Plumbing. I am very pleased with the service. Both of the plumbers that came on this job were extremely nice and explained what they were going to do.I have recommended the company to several of my friends.

It went well. We have used these folks before and have always been satisfied with their work. They are punctual and professional, and the price they have charged has always been less than what I expected. That is always a nice surprise

The plumber used a regular plunger to unclog the sink. Simple fix. I was shocked that I was charged an extra $10 for use of the plunger. I called to ask why, and was told it was standard procedure to charge for use of tools. I'm afraid to ask what it would have cost me if he had to use a wrench or screwdriver! Those sorts of charges, which automatically negate the Angie's List discount I get, make it no longer worth my while to use Dickerson, which I had been using for most of the last 12 years. I won't call them again.

First we had someone here come out and check out our water heater thinking there was an animal inside it (from an awful smell we kept noticing). Nothing was found - then the lights in the house started flickering and buzzing came from the breakers - so I called again, and he came out and replaced some breakers and checked the connections. It did it again and he came back to check and replace more breakers - and noticed a strange surge in one of the nearby outlets - and BINGO - he discovered a burning wire behind the outlet that was causing the awful smell - and the shorts in the breakers. They were dedicated to fixing our issues and even compassionate about the awful smell and its mystery location - and although it felt a bit costly for each visit related to the same issue, it was clear they really knew their stuff. And they were prompt and professional and came out repeatedly and quickly. I will definitely call them again if we have more issues.

Everything went very well. Fix of hose bib went very well. The electrical on the water heater took a little extra time, but was completed. All work was very professional.

Overall, very responsive, but it took two trips. First repairman failed to fix the problem. Called back and second repairman fixed it at no additional cost. Overall, very pleased with work and professionalism

From the initial visit to the quickly e-mailed work proposal to the completed project, things went very smoothly. The work was completed in one day to minimize "down time" with the kitchen. The technician brought a helper with him which made the work go more quickly. Both the Dickerson employees were professional in manner and easy to work with.

We had a leak in front yard. City first said they were responsible, so we let it go without further investigation. Then city said they were not responsible. I was upset and called Dickerson Plumbing as I had used them before. Dickerson's sent someone right away when I called. Their guy first told me he would need to run a new line from house to meter. When I told him I thought it could be the irrigation system, he discovered that was indeed the case. He turned off the water to the irrigation system, but said he would not be able to make repair. He said I would need to call an irrigation company. He was here about 10 minutes, but charged me $120. I knew he thought that was too much (he even called and asked if he could charge half), but he said Mr. Dickerson said I would have to pay the full total. I did get $15 off for being Angie's List member. I felt that I was charged too much for time and service provided. They lost a customer.
