I called Jim Dickerson Plumbing to handle a plumbing issue I had from one of my tenants in a townhome I own. I indicated I would not be present during their visit and asked they work directly with the tenant on the issue, but to bill me directly. They arrived timely which pleased my tenant and handled any and all of his concerns. The bill seemed reasonable, $147, for the onsite visit and time spent, but wouldn't call it a deal. They did honor the $15 off coupon on Angie's list ($132 in total) and left my tenant happy. I'd use them again, but look for a coupon first.

They were punctual, professional and timely. We would definitely use them again in the future if we need to.

The plumber, Brian, was very professional and efficient. My pump was running but not pumping anything. He methodically stepped through all possible causes for why the pump might not be working - blockages in valves, the pump, etc. - until concluding that the pump itself had to be the problem. He was very careful when removing the old pump from my house to ensure there would be no drips of sewage. Dickerson had a replacement pump in stock, which was ideal because that meant they were able to complete the job in a few hours.

The technicians were on time. Brian was sent to remove hose. He got in and out. Scott worked diligently on changing outlet. He helped me hook up the dryer as well. Very good service all around!

Great. Drained and replaced coils and thermostats in a timely and professional manner.

Great experience. I've used them for plumbing several times and they know what they're doing. This was the first time I used their electricians, but the experience was the same as the plumbing experiences.

The service tech arrived at the scheduled appointment time and proceeded to address each issue with a sound explanation for the cause of each problem. The problems were eliminated within 3 hours of arrival and the post service clean up was very thorough.

The whole experience went very smoothly, and considering what a plumber can charge nowadays, Dickerson Plumbing was very reasonable. When we bought our house a couple years ago, the drains were running a bit slower than normal, but finally we knew we needed to do something when the master bathroom sink actually clogged up further when we put Drano in it. We called Dickerson on a Wednesday and they came out promptly on Thursday as promised. Cyrus had to stay over 4 hours to get everything done---and he was great at getting things back to good running order. I'd highly recommend Dickerson based on our overall positive experience.

First off, let me say that I had contacted 3 other electrical companies on Angie's List, left messages and they never called back. I called Jim Dickerson Electrical, got a person, and they made an appt for the next day. The gentleman (Mike) called me before getting to our house, and was as professional and nice as can be. He was really knowledgeable about what he was doing and actually SAVED us some bucks. We had two fixtures on the blink. One needed a ballast (which he fixed). The other turned out to not be a problem after all. He did a slight "repair" on it, and it's ok now (no charge). I am really impressed with this company and will definitely use them again.

The two people that I spoke with at Jim Dickerson Plumbing were super friendly and made sure that I was aware of why its not a good idea to direct the gray water from a washer to my septic. However, since this is a temp. fix for me, they felt confortable and then reminded me of their coupon on Angies List. I appreciated the time they took to make sure that I was informed AND they sent a plumber out the very next morning. They plumber made sure that he understood my furture needs for my sewer, which is to connect to the city later this year. He routed the lines from the washer machine so that it would be easier later and brought the pipes up to code. It was a very good experience.

The front steps are now secure and stable. We are pleased with the work performed.

Dickerson sent Joe out the same morning we called. Right away, Joe located the problem. He tried to install the first replacement faucet I had purchased and, when that wouldn't work with our sink, he installed a second faucet. I was pleased with how personable Joe was and how well he explained the defects in the old faucet. He was also very nice about having to take out the new faucet that wouldn't work with our sink after he had spent considerable time assembling and positioning it. We have used Dickerson both for plumbing and electrical services and will use them again.

It was a great experience. The plumber was extremely friendly and did an excellent job with the disposal and went to the trouble to get my drier exhaust cleaned of lint that was keeping my clothes from getting completely dry. I wasn't expecting the labor to be so high, but I have not had to have a plumbing company in quite a few years. I am not complaining about the rate, but everything has gone up since I have had to call a plumber. My plumber is well-suited for dealing with the public. He was punctual, efficient and friendly as he did his work. I am well satisfied with the work and will use this outfit again when the time comes. Thank you for providing a list for all of us looking for quality work and a worry-free, safe feeling inviting a workman into our homes.

The plumber who arrived at our home (Brian R.) was very vourteous and professional. He called in advance to let us know he was stuck in traffic but was on his way. He still arrived within the first hour of the 4 hour window I was given. He finished the job in a reasonable amount of time. Only complaint is that the hourly rate seems a little high. It is in line with other quotes I got, but I just think $145 p/hour is a little steep given that we just needed a toilet installed and a pedestal re-bolted to the wall.

I called for an estimate to repair my leaking shower drain and was told they needed to to see the job to estimate it at a cost of $80 which would come out of the cost of the repair should I choose their services. The gentleman put booties over his boots before entering the house (a nice touch), gave me a a price estimate (they charge by the hour) for the shower drain that I thought was reasonable based on my research, and asked me to call the office to arrange the repair. I did so and the same gentleman arrived right on time and got to work quickly. He was very professional, courteous, informative, and pleasant. He repaired the drain, reseated the toilet, and caulked all three toilets. He appeared to work efficiently and quickly and I am pleased with the work so far. I would definitely work with this guy again unless the shower starts leaking again.

The plumber arrived on time and solved everything to my complete satisfaction. He was very knowledgable about various products and gave excellent advice. He was professional and extremely competent.

Jim Dickerson Plumbing & Electrical Inc was prompt, very good to work with, very personable and they were willing to come back until the job is done correctly. They will do whatever you ask them to do. They were great. There were 3 or 4 people working and everybody we talked to was great. They were professional.

When I called for an appointment, the hourly rate ($147.00 per hour!) and Angie's list coupon (10% discount) were explained to me. An appointment was made for the next day, with a 1 - 4 PM window. As agreed, the technician (Scott) contacted me a half hour in advance (at 1:00 PM) so that I could leave work and meet him. His truck was at the end of my driveway when I arrived at my home Scott got to work dismantling the electrical box. He showed me the condition of the existing electrical outlet and explained what needed to be done (The outlet needed to be moved to meet current code - the condition of the existing utility box made it clear that everything needed to be replaced. Scott asked if I would like to have a timer added. I asked the price. (He was unsure, but told me that he would purchase one with the other parts, but I wouldn't be under obligation to keep it. When he returned with the parts, he explained that the timer and its installation would cost around $150.00.) I agreed to installation. He was gone for 1 1/2 and explained when I inquired that I wouldn't be billed for offsite time. Scott worked diligently in the hot sun until 7:15 PM. (I moved a pool umbrella to provide a bit of shade.) The bill for the entire job came to $860.00 ($529.00 labor - 4 hrs. - and $331.00 parts). The bill was higher than I expected because I didn't imagine the job would require 4 hours. When I examined the work I decided that it was worth the investment. The quality of the materials and their installation was neat , sturdy and unobtrusive (anchored to the brick retaining wall but forgather from the pool pump and filter than the previous installation, to meet code.) I feel confident that all 3 of the boxes installed will be resistant to the elements for the foreseeable future. Scott explained the switches and use of the new timer which he had already set for me. The bill presented was very clearly itemized for materials, labor and Angie's list discount. Though the job cost more than I anticipated, the results were better than I imagined. Service was very professional. I will consider them for future work when I can save up the money!

Excellent He was on time, needed new outlet did not charge for time that he purchased it from Lowes, everything was cleaned up and he did not waste time while working. Very pleased.

We called because the cold water faucet for the clothes washer was leaking very badly. The gentleman arrived exactly when he said he would and it took only a very short time for him to replace both faucets. He was very courteous and obviously knew what he was doing. I appreciated the manner in which he performed the work and his professionalism.

It went well. He was very professional and courteous. He fixed all of my electrical problems quickly and efficiently.

They did a great job and were very prompt. I would highly recommend them.

22/13.. Job was completed. Water is running. The all over opinion of this company is that they are competent but not anxious to re-assure or impress the customer by leaving the sight , if not as they found it, at least with the pretense that they tried.

When my sewer backed up in the middle of the night, these guys came through for me! Stopped the water, found out what was causing the backup and corrected the problem. (Their "sewer cam" was something that was cool...but I never want to see it again!) They fit me in their busy schedule and showed what customer service really is. (Oh yes...this was a weekend....) I really recommend these guys.

Had an emergency weekend plumbing issue due to my water heater needing to be replaced. Initially, a technician quickly responded to the phone call and got the leak to stop. Had an initial water heater replacement time for morning the next day. They called at 7:30AM and said Noon, which became 3:30 in the afternoon with them not finishing until 7:30PM. Fortunately, they did find an additional issue in my home that the developer did, which they were able to correct. I had forgotten about the tardiness on their part up until their departure. Upon exiting my home, after the technician had seen some political signage up in my home, discussed that he was spending his over time money on extra ammunition and guns due to the new proposed gun laws. I was immediately disappointed in him for even mentioning this. Regardless of political parties/view, this should never be discussed with a customer.
