Description of Work: The connection from our sewer line to the city sewer connection was blocked. (Determined by first using a camera.) Suspect was a tree root. They had to bring a backhoe and dig down 5 feet to replace sewer connection. They were professional, and did a very careful job. It was just very expensive.

Description of Work: I had a leak in the water meter at my house. I first called the water company and asked them to look at it. I was left a note on my door from them that the leak was on my side and my responsibility as a result. | I called Jim Dickerson Plumbing and the tech arrived promptly. He drained the box and found the leak, was indeed, in the meter itself and therefore the water companies responsibility. | I got back to the water company and they sent someone out and replaced the meter and no more leak. | While I'm not happy with paying for Jim Dickerson to come out, my anger is with the water company for not fixing the problem and me having to call a plumbing service at all. I will be addressing with them. | I'm just happy Jim Dickerson was so professional and prompt that the problem didn't linger and I wasn't overcharged or sold anything I didn't need. I was only charged the minimum amount for a service call.

Description of Work: The toilet was leaking at the connecting flange. The join needed to be removed, a new one installed and properly glued together. | |The plumber thought he had found the leak emanating from the shower assembly. When the dry wall people came to repair the ceiling we discovered that the shower was not leaking but it was the toilet. The plumber returned a few days later and completed the work in a couple of hours. | |I would definitely use Jim Dickerson plumbing again.

Description of Work: The two water pipes connected to my washer froze and then burst in my crawl space on a Friday night. Dickerson Plumbing answered the phone when I called Saturday morning. They understood that I needed my water fixed that day. They assured me they would send a plumber that could get the job done even if it was a tiny crawl space. The plumber they sent was a professional, he was kind and he got the job done in less than an hour. If I ever have another plumbing need I will call them.

Description of Work: Broken steel recirculating hot water pump due to freezing temps. It was removed quickly, and the problem was solved. No more water leakage. Great service, prompt arrival, and job well done.

Description of Work: They checked out my heat handler, verified the amperage for each of the legs and replaced the furnace filer

Description of Work: Brian came out to the house and installed a whole house water filtration system that I had purchased. He also flushed out the hot water tank. He arrived on time, and was polite, friendly and professional. I was pleased with his work and would use Dickerson again.

Description of Work: Installed a tankless water heater. |We contacted Jim Dickerson plumbing about a leak in our hot water heater. The representative we spoke to was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to quote me a new replacement right over the phone based on what we had. We asked about tankless and they had someone out to our house that day to do a quote. We like the price and went ahead with the job. Jim Dickerson took care of everything, the electrician, the paperwork with the county, permits, inspections, etc. All we basically did was write them a check. They were incredibly professional at every step, punctual and just a pleasure to work with. They are our new "go to" plumbers.

Description of Work: Requested service for Noritz water heater. They had no experience with Noritz but came out anyways and wound up calling the Noritz customer service line. Noritz told them I needed a part, which Jim Dickerson's vendor didn't have - so Jim Dickerson said to order the part from Noritz and give them a call back to install it if needed. It was a $10 part but wound up paying $160. Ask Jim Dickerson if they have experience with your water heater before you use them.

Description of Work: They fixed a broken handle on kitchen faucet. They responded quickly to my call and came out the next day. Only problem was that they did not have the part needed and had to leave and come back. It seems like this is a common problem with this handle and it would have been nice if they had had it with them. But they did a very good job and were clean and efficient.
