DID NOT DELIVER AS PROMISED. LOW-QUALITY WORK and no sincerely to satisfy the customer. The contractor, Sam, came a day before to take a look at the work. I showed him everything that needs to be done. He kept on saying everything will be done. He had no patience to go thru the details and understand the scope of work. Nevertheless, I patiently walked him thru the scope of work, he said yes to everything. He promised to start work the next day. At this point, I should have sensed that it is too good to be true. I moved on, trusting Angis ratings on him. He quoted $485, a high price for the job; I had offers for $350, $400 also. I went ahead with it believing him. He came the next day and a while after he started working I noticed that he was halfway done. I enquired and showed him he is not grouting certain areas he agreed to, he started arguing with me that he never agreed to that. He had said yes to EVERYTHING the previous day and now he is denying that! He also raised his voice on me; I had to cool him down - the opposite of what happens elsewhere. After a while he said unwillingly he will grout that also. After the job was finished, now my turn for inspection. To my surprise, it was a low-quality job. He did not remove the grout from the additional area, he just pasted over it. In the main area, he did not remove the old grout completely. He removed only what he could do with a hand tool. Does not use power tools. When asked he said 65% - 75% level of old grout is good enough and it sticks. Then why in the whole world do all other contractors take pain to remove the old grout completely and do a good job? If this was this simple, I could have done it myself. I had seen it, he did not remove up to 65-75% old grout. He might have scraped a little to the extent of leaving out 90% of old grout! Anyone can easily do this job, you do not expect this from a pro. I hire a pro because I cannot the job myself. I was disappointed. The scope of work was also to clean old grout deposits from the wall marble tiles. The old job was bad and thick grout deposits were all over the place. He was to remove and clean and bring back the surface to its original look and shine. He did not do that in many places! The old ugly grout was still sticking out there. I had to walk him through each and every instance of that and have him redo the work. He was not happy and unwillingly did it. When questioned about missing shine, argues that he never promised to make it shine, it is a completely different job. Then why did you promise that? He never apologized for his mistakes! Hiring this guy, Sam, is not a bang for the buck. Quite a painful thing to go through. Does talk too much and deliver less. $485 was wasted on an ordinary job which did not add expected value to my project. Now I have to do the leftover work myself after paying the hefty sum. I do not recommend this guy to anyone. If you end up hiring for whatever reason, make sure he writes down every little detail of what he is going to do or not do. Do not believe his words. Better look for another contractor who is professional. Just having 5 stars Angis rating is misleading, do not believe it. Judge the person before you hire.

Prompt and courteous; Sam was efficient and did the work I expected him to do. His work was a real eye catcher and he explained how to keep it looking new.

It looked great until we walked on the floor a week later and the grout started cracking and falling out. The tub surround looks good though we have not used that bath and shower yet. Fingers crossed that its ok.

Very prompt service. Sam said what he was going to do and did what he said. He rocked out a master bath shower, garden tub, double sink and my girls shower in about 4.5 hours. Removed old grout, replaced with new, sealed everything and even cleaned the showers! I've done this before myself...I will never attempt it again as long as Sam is doing this kind of work. Well done sir! Hats off! Would definitely hire again and highly recommend.

Sam did a great job on my master bath. I originally asked him to grout just the shower, but he ended up regrouting, sealing and caulking the entire bathroom including the garden tub, floor and sink. The bathroom looks like new again! The price was reasonable. I will use him again for other work and recommend him to friends.

Sam did a fantastic job. First of all he didn't oversell us. He told us that he could remove our existing tile, fix the wall behind the tile that was pulling off the wall, replace the tile and regrout the whole shower. I really appreciated that he didn't try to sell us what we didn't need. The work was done quickly and it looks great! I would absolutely hire him again.

Very good...he could have cleaned up just a bit better, but the work was excellent!
