Eager Beaver Handyman Service

Terrific. Shane was very responsive and worked well within a deadline we had to complete the work before we hosted an event. He is very organized and communicated everything extremely well. Workers arrived promptly and I received notification when they were on their way.

Eager Beaver came out and evaluated the column and railing. The column was corrected and the railing rot was replaced with Vinyl railing on both railings to match. They did a great job. I have used Eager Beaver in the past and will use them in the future.

From start to finish everything went very smoothly and very professional. We contact via Angie’s list messenger and received a response within 15 minutes. We received a Saturday appointment very easily and quickly. There was no extra charge for a weekend appointment. I was quoted a price when I made the appointment and I paid the same price when the job was complete. The serviceman was actually early to the appointment which we were alerted to and approved. He was super professional, communicated the entire time with us what he thought the issue was and what he felt the best solution to the issue was. He worked quickly, was very neat and clean while working and we were very happy with the outcome. We will definitely use Eager Beaver Handyman again!

I contacted several companies to remodel my bathroom and update my kitchen. Shane was the only one that responded in a timely fashion. He was professional and respected my budget. He painted my kitchen cabinets and repaired the hinges on doors that needed it. In the master bath we updated by changing the doors to my shower, changed the floor from a green tile to a woodgrain ceramic tile, took off a step to the bath and tiled the front of tub to match the new shower floor tile, changed the doors the closet, and changed out the lighting and mirrors. He actually recommended AGAINST some of my ideas to reduce costs since I was planning to sell my home. He answered every question, including those regarding the bill; and his staff was friendly and punctual. Whenever something needed to be corrected he took care of it immediately. And when I made changes to the plan or wanted to add on something he never hesitated; and despite my additions the timeline wasn't extended too much. He stuck to the budget (we went over because of MY changes!). I did have an issue with the company that installed the shower enclosure and he helped by contacting them (after I had) so they came and made repairs. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him again.

Terrific. He was punctual and wasted no time completing the project. The pegboards look lovely. He was friendly, neat and clean.

I have yet to suggest a project they haven’t been able to help me complete. Project 1. I’m pretty handy, but I wasn’t comfortable disconnecting dishwasher, garbage disposal, and kitchen faucet. Enter Chris, who I now call “Can do Chris.” Disconnected all this for me but found the water shut off valves needed to be replaced. He capped the water lines, left me new valves for post-remodel installation and offered loads of advice about pre-installation preparation. Project 2. Our new range hood mechanism would not work with the old intake vent from our former over range microwave combo. Chris worked with me to figure out the best way to get it up and running. This involved creating a new hole through the brick for the new vent, removing the old vent, connecting the new ductwork to the (he even spray painted it for me) new vent, sealing it all up, repairing the old hole with new brick on the outside (you’d have to look really hard to notice the patch) and drywall inside, installing the hood mechanism and liner into the cabinetry, connecting it to the new ductwork, and making sure it all worked. We’re in the middle of our total kitchen remodel. When the cabinet installers tell me, “We don’t do that” or “Do you want us to do that for an additional fee” I just say, “I want it done right. I have people.” The price I paid for these 2 projects included many of the supplies.

The first job I asked them to do was re-make our approximately 5’x5’ walk in pantry. The walls were full of holes after removing wire shelves. Day one: patch and paint. Moses did such a great job I thought it might have been a shame to cover up all that beauty with wood laminate shelving. Day two: installation. Shane 2 and Michael gave me exactly what I wanted - wall to wall practically floor to ceiling sturdy wood shelves on which my things will no longer topple over.

The business was quite responsive and was able to come out the next day. The rep arrived early in the morning and the job was completed in about 15 minutes

Shane and his crew were amazing. They were prompt throughout the project the estimate was well done and very accurate. And they finished ON TIME! Who knew this could happen We had to add for an issue there is no way they could see (plumbing) but overall they did a great job! Very pleased

Had a great experience from start to finish. Call Eager Beaver and got a rough estimate, told them I had an immediate need to get someone over and they were able to send someone the same day. The handyman arrived on time, was courteous, explained everything, got to work and performed the work as expected. I am thrilled with the quality of the work, the professionalism and will certainly be calling them again for my needs.

Shane and his crew are great! He always showed up on time and got the jobs done. If he came across something he couldn't handle, he let us know and didn't lie to us to make more money. We have since purchased several commercial properties and reached out to Shane for repairs

They went above and beyond just fixing the bannister. Since there were young children in the house, the handyman took extra precaution to make sure that the railing was also secure into the wall. I would definitely hire again.

"Dusty was very professional. Explained what needed to be done . Found the stud and bolted down the shelves in both rooms, so they should not fall again" Cleaned up when done. I was quoted $100 for the 1st hour & $85 each additional hr. Which was a bit much. I wanted them fixed and that's what matters got cheaper quotes. But was more impressed with Eager Beaver's reviews., Would i use them again., Absolutely!!

Very well. Contact was made with me almost immediately, estimate was a few days later and the work was performed about a week after that. Gave me the option to repair or replace and decided on the latter since the existing gate was at least 15 years old. Estimate provided was within the acceptable range for overruns (actual was 7% above estimate).

Great! they were in contact ahead of time. They arrived on time. The guys worked steady through the day. I was available during the day to answer some questions they had about location and gate size available. They came in slightly under the estimate which I appreciated. The estimate was a little higher than I initially expected but they were the only people who followed through from first contact to final project. After waiting months for the fencing company or other handyman companies. Eager Beavers had my project done in 3 weeks from the first email request for an estimate

The whole experience for me went well, from the secretary to Shane who did the work. What I like most was that they presented options so I could get the most for my money. Their price was very reasonable, they were very prompt when they gave me a time. They kept me up to date on everything. I will definitely use them at a future date.

Took a while to find the proper hinges. Ran into a couple of snags, but Shane worked with us and we were satisfied with the results.
