 + -1 moreThe installation of the toilets went really well. We were going to have them connect the water to the kitchen sink but the price of $373 was close to $200 more then other companies so we did not have them do the work for the sink.

The quality of the rough seems to be OK, but they charged us an extra $1000 to use plastic pipe instead of iron, though they bid on iron and plastic is cheaper. They didn't explain (let alone justify) the up-charge to us, just charged the clueless general contractor who we now have to pay. Needless to say, we're not letting them come back to do the finish work- cheat me once, shame on you, cheat me twice, shame on me, right?
Description of Work: Contracted to do rough and finish plumbing for a kitchen, laundry room, and half-bath renovation in my house.

He fixed the leaky shower and toilet quickly, and we agreed to save the kitchen sink problem for another day. The Angie's List coupon was greatly appreciated.
Description of Work: The shower leaked incessantly, and we couldn't get it to stop. We called Emergency Response Plumbing at 1:00 on Saturday afternoon and they came to the house three hours later to fix the problem. They also fixed a continuously running toilet while they were here and gave us a quote on fixing the kitchen spout.

 + -1 moreI called on a Thursday a.m. After explaining the problem, I was told that they could not guarantee anyone could come out today but could come out tomorrow. They called back early the same afternoon and said that a representative was available and could come out within the hour. Matt came about 45 minutes later, and after assessing the problem, he corrected it quickly. He also advised what I could do in the future to avoid the same problem occurring. Matt was very courteous and friendly, and I will certainly call this company again for any future plumbing problem that I might encounter.
Description of Work: The kitchen faucet was leaking on the countertop and down into the cabinet below.

 + -1 moreThe plumber was actually running about 45 minutes late. So, as a concession, a woman at the company told me they would waive the $45 dispatch fee. I thought that was very nice and an indication of good service. When the plumber arrived he was nice, polite and seemed knowledgeable about what he was doing. I also thought the price was good. I'd definitely use them again.

 + -1 moreThis company has been responsive, polite, helpful, and overall great, every time I've called on them. The last time I called was because I couldn't get hot water in my shower. They came and discovered it was because I had put the faucet handle on backward. They fixed the problem, didn't charge me a thing, and didn't call me an idiot either. They're great, highly recommended!
Description of Work: They have now done several jobs for me because of their good work on the first one. The first job resulted when my old hot water heater started leaking over night. The first place I called said "we'll send someone later today" but would not help me with the leak and my concerns with the fact that it was a gas unit. The next place I called was Emergency Plumbing, the woman who answered the phone arranged a time for someone to come out that morning, then said "let me give you to Bill (I think) he'll help you with the leak right now." Bill walked me through turning off the water (which would have caused serious flooding if left for hours) and turning off the gas giving me huge peace of mind. They gave me a quote for a replacement hot water heater, but I had been researching tankless hot water heaters before and so I asked about those. They walked me through the whole thing, how it worked, price, value etc. They installed a tankless hot water heater the next day. I love it!

 + -1 moreMatt was punctual, polite and effecient. He gave me some good advice on how to maintain little used bathroom plumbing. My only wish was that I could have had someone out sooner, as ceiling damage could have been a lot less. I called on a Friday (company works on Saturday)explained my problem and service was done on Monday afternoon. I did not push issue, which was my error. Also at the time I did not know if it was a roof, plumbing or A/C issue.
Description of Work: Replaced supply line and fill valve to seldom used leaking upstairs toilet. Leak was showing up in ceiling of downstairs bathroom.

 + -1 moreAfter a late night problem on a Friday night, I phoned Emergency Response Plumbing Services based on comments from other Angie's list subscribers early Saturday morning. By 12:00 Matt was at the house and quickly diagnosed the problem. He showed me exactly where the problem was, then quoted a replacement. Matt gave me time to research their pricing for competitiveness, and once I determined to move forward, immediately called to get the replacement heater in route to my house. Matt worked quickly and efficiently to remove the old heater and replace it with the new one, then made sure I knew how the new one worked. He was professional and personable. Overall a very smooth transaction. I will use this company again.
Description of Work: Examined leaking water heater (13 yrs old), diagnosed the problem (cracked tank), advised the need for a new water heater, quoted a replacement, replaced the broken water heater and removed the old heater.

 + -1 moreThe guy seemed really inconvenienced to come out on a Sunday. He assured us that it was the well, and he would have to put in a whole new well system. We weren't convinced and told him we weren't going to pay that much for a new well. The company assured us that if they damaged the irrigation system in the process, they would repair it for no additional cost. As it turns out, it was a simple irrigation problem, not a well problem. We believe this plumber knew that was the problem from the beginning but wanted to charge us for the new well.
Description of Work: They came out to give an estimate on a leak in our yard caused by a lightening strike. The lightening apparently hit the underground irrigation system and burst a pipe. We thought it might be the well.
