I called E.R. Plumbing because our tenant reported that they did not have any hot water. E.R Plumbing, though very polite, showed up and did not even inspect the water heater (besides just looking at it). He immediately said that the whole thing needed to be replaced and he would show me a price list. He said that the parts and labor to replace the elements would be almost as much as a new heater and that it was over 6 years old (which I felt was pretty NEW!). I told him that I wanted to shop around and after he left, our tenant came out and he said that the guy was lying and taking me to the cleaners. He went to Lowe's and bought two heating elements for $23 and fixed the problem. I have yet to find a plumber I can trust and who won't try to rip you off. This company was trying to get me to pay $1,600 for a $23 repair. They should be ashamed of themselves and I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. This is an outrage!!!

They did a very good job. They were timely, competant, courteous, neat, by looking at the yard you could barely tell that they had been here. They handled calling Utility Quest to mark where the utility lines were, ie, the gas, telephone and electrical lines. That meant that I did not have to do that.

I called them because the house had had this slow leak for years that the inspector caught. It had rotted wood work beneath, and was rusty. The worry was that the 50 year old pipe would burst inside the wall when being loosened or retightened. Turned out to be a straightforward job, but I'm glad I called ER Plumbing anyway, because they have flat rate pricing -- they'd have finished the job for the quoted price even if it got difficult. I appreciate that certainty. And they showed up on time, and fixed it without any problems.

Very friendly and helpful. Was flexible with scheduling to help my mom with some toliet plumbing issues and then head to our house to fix water heater that had problem maintaining hot water.

Called at 8:30 am and the drain that had been clogged was cleaned by 10:00 am.

I had a new gas line installed in my laundry room for a gas dryer by a different company. After the gas dryer was installed, it stopped heating after a week. The appliance repair person determined that the gas line did not have a regulator on it, so the gas pressure was too high, which caused the dryer to stop heating. I called E.R. Plumbing to have a regulator installed on 7/11. Terry came the next day at 8:00 a.m. as promised. He had 15 years of experience with Piedmont Natural Gas before coming to E.R. He was extremely knowledgeable, inspected my house to determine that I did, indeed, need a regulator, and completed the installation in less than an hour. We tested the dryer afterwards, and it worked fine. This was a small job, but I would trust Terry and E.R. with any other plumbing work I need. In fact, they are quoting on installing a tankless water heater to replace my 20-year-old traditional tank gas water heater. In discussing this project, it was evident that Terry was very experienced in recommending and installing tankless water heaters.

We discovered a leak in our kitchen ceiling. We called ER plumbing and received an appointment very quickly. Jeff was punctual and assessed the situation. The problem was the toilet upstairs. After resetting and sealing, we decided to look at the other 2 toilets in the house. Those were going to be issues in the future due to the builder's inferior work and parts used to set the toilets. Rather than wait for a problem, we had all 3 toilets fixed. Jeff also made sure we knew where the water cut-off was in our house and on our water heater. He gave us advice on how to save money while we were out of town with adjusting the water heater, etc. Very pleased with the outcome.

Making an appointment was very easy -- they were prepared to come out immediately but were happy to work within my schedule. Lance called to let me know he was on the way. He listened to my list of issues and worked through each one, thoroughly explaining what he found at each step. He also took down information about my water heater and other water-related items so they would be prepared if I call in the future. Totally satisfied with the service performed and will use again.

I would use them again. They came in a timely manner. I was charged a fair rate. The coupon from the website helped out with the expense. I agree with all other the good feedback that members left and I was satisfied with the results.

I received a return phone call pretty quickly and had a technician at our house early in the morning to address the problem. He was polite and skilled at the work he performed. I had provided the new faucet to install so the parts he supplied were minimal. The only negative for my experience was the cost. Their pricing is a bit confusing as they have different flat fees for different types of tasks rather than estimating each job based on time and materials. That made it difficult to relate the projected time to be spent and the materials' cost to the overall estimate prior to doing the work. Every company has to cover profit, overhead (tools, trucks, etc.) so you expect there to be a mark-up over the labor expense to cover all of that but I found their pricing model confusing. When pricing the job, the technician seemed confused as to what to select to arrive at a total cost and this resulted in us being significantly overcharged (the additional cost was more than $100). I contacted the company and they promptly responded, admitted the job was overpriced in error and issued us a credit. For an hours worth of work and a small amount of materials the price paid still seems a bit expensive but I would use them again given their professionalism and follow through on the service. I would simply advise future customers to talk through the pricing to make sure they understand the time involved, materials to be supplied and get a comfort level that the work they will be doing is worth the cost.

I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly. The plumber arrived during the designated window. He explained the problem, solution and the cost to fix it. He had the shower valve on his truck and therefore did not need to leave to buy parts. The bathroom was left in a clean state; there was nothing to clean up. I have used ER Plumbing three times in the past few years and I would use them again.

I was very satisfied with their work. They were pleasant, they offered a great deal of information nd advice for what I should do in the future. They seemed very polite and professional. I felt very comfortable with them in my home.

They did a good job. They were prompt, professional, they cleaned up after themselves. I had no complaints other than the price was pretty high but that's just the way things are these days.

Excellent, Jeff is the tech that we've used before and request him when we call. He has been to our house for 3 different repairs. This time we order a new Toto toilet from ER and Jeff install it. Beautiful job, clean and quick. They will be back to do a water heater upgrade and install a whole house water filter....thanks guys, great work!! When the washing machine was draining, the water was backing up and coming back up into the tub. The house is an older home (1940s), one story with only one bathroom. The problem started on a Friday night. Saturday morning we called our normal plumber and he was unavailable. I found ER Plumbing on Angie's List and made a call. From the time I called, someone was at our house 3 hours later. I was very happy that they could come out so quickly, especially on a Saturday. The plumber, Jeff, was very nice and did a great job. In order to do the work, he had to disconnect our stacked washer and dryer. He reconnected everything and left it in better shape than he had found it. I appreciated the care he took in the house. I would definitely consider using ER Plumbing again.

The serviceman arrived 40 minutes late. Aside from that, the experience was positive. He was friendly and worked quickly. He presented me with options without pressuring me to choose the more expensive work. He took out my old toilet and installed a new one. He also cleaned out my bathroom sink drain, and it works much better now. The total price was exactly what he told me prior to starting the job.

It was an all day event but it went very well, just as they had planned.

We had some loud noises in our pipes that would only stop when we turned on the water. We weren't quite sure what was causing this but since it was close to Christmas we didn't want to take any chances. Called this company from Angie's list and they were very professional and friendly. The serviceman came within 2 days and again he was very professional and told us what the issue was. - there were some pressure problems caused from spiking in water pressure(union county problem). Would call this company again(got a magnet to remind me!)

The technicians were very friendly and professional. They did everything they said they would do on time and within budget. One technician even advised me how to tile my bathroom floor which needed to be done before they could replace my toilet. (The floor had to be even for them to set the toilet.) I got new fixtures and a new skill!

I got to know about them through Angie?s list and there was a discount offer through Angie?s list if I went with them. I looked at their website and liked that as well. They were very professional and upfront with the quote. During the first half I thought they were expensive but they did good work and cleaned up after themselves. They were very straightforward with their price and when they finished the price was the same as they quoted. There was no difference. I am very happy with the work they did. Obviously you can?t have good work done for the cheapest price. They were actually little late but they waved off some fees.

Mike was awesome! Very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and took the time to go over everything i should be doing (so he doesn't have to come back:). Thanks for the great service and i'll gladly refer this company to friends/family in the area.

Plumber came and did good job, but I felt it was a little expensive and did not like the attempt at cross selling.

They were very neat in their work and nice to work with. They explained everything very well.

Called to get an estimate for work needed to be done. He coached me over the phone on things I could do myself to fix the problem before they made a service call. After I did what he told me to do it fixed the issue

They fixed this very easily for me and have come back out to fix the commode and do faucet replacement. They are very reasonable in price and give prompt and efficient service. They are nice to do business with. There are really no negatives.
