 + -1 moreHe was very reasonable. He only charged us for an hour but was there longer. He was very helpful and informative. He was very knowledgeable. He was very nice and he was there when he said he would be there. He was able to come out within a couple days. He did a good job.

 + -1 moreMy computer had been broken for 2 years. He was very punctual. He had my fixed my computer in less than two minutes. Price is extremely reasonable. He even gave me a back up disc for my printer and showed me how to use it. He was great! Will use him again soon.

 + -1 moreWHEN HIS SCHEDULE WAS UNEXPECTEDLY DELAYED, TOM CALLED US PROMPTLY TO SAY HE WAS RUNNING LATE AND GAVE SEVERAL OPTIONS FOR WHEN HE COULD HELP US. HE THEN ARRIVED AS RE-SCHEDULED (LATER THE SAME EVENING). HE WAS VERY HELPFUL, AND EXPLAINED THINGS CLEARLY, STEP BY STEP. HE OFFERED FOLLOW-UP TELEPHONE SUPPORT AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE, AND EMAILED CLICK-BY-CLICK INSTRUCTIONS FOR BI-WEEKLY COMPUTER MAINTENANCE THE NEXT DAY. HE IS VERY REASONABLY PRICED.
Description of Work: DID TROUBLE-SHOOTING AND REFORMATTED HARD DRIVE AND REINSTALLED OS AND SOFTWARE SO THAT COMPUTER WOULD WORK AGAIN. GOT TWO COMPUTERS NETWORKED. THE SERVICE CALL LASTED BETWEEN 2-3 HOURS.

 + -1 moreRUNS A GOOD COMPANY FILLING A MUCH NEEDED AREA. HE ALWAYS EXPLAINED WHAT HE WAS DOING OR WAS GOING TO DO SO I UNDERSTOOD. UNDERSTANDS PRICE IS IMPORTANT WHEN THE CUSTOMER IS PAYING BY THE HOUR.
Description of Work: THE FILES IN MY COMPUTER WERE CORRUPTED AND IT WOULD BARELY RUN. TOM TOOK TWO DAYS AND FOUR HOURS GOING THROUGH THE SYSTEM TO TRY AND FIND OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITHOUT LOSING ANY OF OUR SAVED FILES. ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS, WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND NEVER SEEMED IN A RUSH TO GET FINISHED. REPAIRED WITH THE LEAST AMOUNT OF DAMAGE TO MY SYSTEM.

Description of Work: TOM HAD TO COME BY AND CLEAN OFF MY HARD DRIVE. MY COMPUTER HAD FROZEN UP AND HE GOT IT ALL RUNNING AGAIN AS WELL AS TRIED TO BLOCK SOME INCOMING JUNK MAIL.

 + -1 moreI'D RECOMMEND TOM HALL TO ANYONE. HE'S PROFESSIONAL, ARTICULATE AND A TRUE COMPUTER EXPERT. HE WAS VERY GENEROUS WITH HIS TIME; HE PROBABLY ONLY CHARGED ME FOR HALF THE TIME HE WAS HERE. HE RETURNED PHONE CALLS PROMPTLY AND WAS ALWAYS THERE WHEN I NEEDED HIM, INCLUDING LATE AT NIGHT AND ON WEEKENDS. DON'T HESITATE TO CALL ON TOM; HE KNOWS HIS STUFF!
Description of Work: TOM HOOKED UP TWO NEW NOTEBOOK COMPUTERS ON AN EXISTING ETHERNET NETWORK. ONE OF THE COMPUTERS WAS VERY BUGGY AND ALL SORTS OF PROBLEMS CROPPED UP THAT TOM FIXED. BUT ONE OF THE PROBLEMS, THE INTERNAL MODEM WOULDN'T WORK AND COULDN'T BE REPAIRED. NOT FOR LACK OF TOM'S TRYING! FINALLY, AFTER MANY HOURS, TOM CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT THE ONLY SOLUTION WAS TO DO A COMPLETE HARD DRIVE WIPE AND RE-INSTALL. HE TOLD ME THAT WOULD TAKE 6 HOURS OF HIS TIME AND SUGGESTED THAT I SEND THE COMPUTER BACK TO DELL AND EXCHANGE IT. I GOT THE NEW COMPUTER THE OTHER DAY AND TOM HELPED ME OVER THE PHONE TO GET THE NETWORK RUNNING. TOM ALSO FIXED PROBLEMS WITH THE 2 DESKTOP COMPUTERS THAT THE NOTEBOOKS REPLACED, INCLUDING MOVING FILES, BACKING UP, REINSTALLING WINDOWS, ETC.

HE WAS TO COME BACK TO REPLACE PART, BUT FOUND THE PART NEEDED IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. HE TOLD ME THE COMPUTER COULD CRASH TODAY OR WHEN EVER. HE TRANSFERRED ALL OF MY IMPORTANT DATA OVER. HE MAKES SURE YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE REPAIR. WHEN IT CAME TIME TO WRITE THE CHECK I ASKED HOW MUCH I OWED HE SAID I COULD NOT REPAIR YOUR COMPUTER SO YOU DO NOT OWE ME ANYTHING! I WAS FLOORED. GREAT GUY.
