They're awesome. They were extremely fast and diagnosed the problem very quickly. The repair was quick as well and they did preventative work as well as not ruining the aesthetics of the tile. Mary, is also incredible, she is nice and personable.

The response from All About The Pipes Plumbing Inc was swift and provided me with possible causes for the symptoms for frozen pipes. Their diagnosis was accurate and rather than having to schedule service I was able to follow their directions and solve the issue. Based on this experience of their fast reply to a service request on a Saturday, I would definitely call them again in the future.

It went smoothly, and took over 4 hours to complete, except for the sprinkler line that was cut by the city when they came and replaced the shut-off box the week before. (The cut sprinkler line was unknown to us.) They came back the very next day when I called them when it was shooting out water because the sprinkler system kicked back in. The only complaint I have is they said they would fix my leaky spigots and they did not.
Description of Work: We had a broken water line going from the shutoff to the house. They had a 2.5 week backlog but we waited to have them do the job because our neighbor recommended them. The repair was done well and the inspector was happy with it because they brought it up to code, since our house was over 30 years old.

Doug came to our house to look at the work that needed to be done and offer a quote. He explained everything that he would do and how it would work. He told me my best priced option would be to have the job done for time plus materials. He figured it would take him about an hour, but worst case 2 hours for his work. We were able to set up the work for a few days later. He came out the second time to fix all the spigots, cut off the the gas line to the fireplace and added the line for the gas grill. He wasn't able to connect the line to the grill because our grill had a strange size fitting so he went back to his supplier to look for the correct piece. He realized he would have to have one custom made in order to fit the grill and would need to come back again. His last trip he added the custom piece to the line and the grill turned on great. He did go over 2 hours of labor, but since he quoted 2 hours as being the most amount of time it would take he only charged me for that.
Description of Work: Removed propane gas line to gas logs in fireplace in order to make it wood burning and turned gas line into hookup for gas grill. Also fixed dripping spigots on outside of house.

I have worked with All About The Pipes Plumbing previously. I got two quotes for this work and their quote was the lowest. Everything went as planned and the two plumbers who did the work were professional and courteous. The first part of the plumbing work was done by Taft and Dan completed the work on the second visit. This work was very well done.
Description of Work: As part of my garage makeover project team, All About Pipes Plumbing came to perform work on two separate occasions. The first was to disassemble the utility sink in the garage. This was done to prepare for a vanity cabinet to be installed. During this trip, the plumber also replaced a faucet on my laundry room sink. The supply/waste lines were tempoarily capped. The second trip was after the cabinets were installed. The plumber installed a Fiat DL-1 drop in sink and installed a new faucet for the vanity sink. In addition, the plumber installed the drain pipes. Please note that I purchased the sink and faucets from Ferguson. So, they were customer supplied.

I called the company the morning before Thanksgiving after an extremely heavy rain the day before, which resulted in our realizing our sump pump was not working. I was doubtful that they would be able to send someone out that day, but not only did they send someone out, they came out within an hour and a half after my call. Jamie came and assessed the situation, told me they could order a new sump pump and replace it the following week. All went smoothly-- he had estimated the cost of the sump pump and labor time correctly. Jamie was pleasant and professional, and I would absolutely use this company again.

I should've gone with my gut instinct to just hang up when I called for an estimate in mid-October and the woman, Mary, (quite contrary) who answered the phone was extremely rude. She immediately started quoting me a price for two men to determine where my leak was before I ever told her the problem. After straining to explain over her attitude that I didn't have a leak and just wanted an estimate to determine how water was trickling from my showers and getting the nearby drywall wet, she said the owner of the company would do the estimate but I'd have to wait a week, which was fine with me. When the owner, Chris showed up on 10/25/13, I was pleasantly surprised at his extreme professionalism and polite ways. He determined, as did another plumber before him as well as a handy man, that the tubs needed re-caulking and splash guards. I did feel he might've felt my job was too small and really had no interest in it, but he agreed to send me a proposal via email. After a few days when I hadn't heard from him I called the office and left a voice mail asking for the proposal. I got no response so I waited over a weekend and called again. This is when Mary snapped at me again insisting she'd emailed the proposal twice. I never received any email from them, nor have I had anything else go missing before or since and I've had my email address for 8 years. She did fax the proposal to me afterall, but seemed annoyed with me, as if my business was a problem for her. When I saw the proposal Chris had created though, I was very impressed with the detail and professionalism. He proposed to make the repairs in two stages. On day one (a Friday) he would come out to clean and remove all the old caukling from both tub/shower units then place fans on them for the entire weekend to make sure the drywall behind was completely dry. On day 2, (a Monday) he would "wipe down the walls with a special cleaner" and apply new DAP to the seams. The proposal further states " Plumber will provide all necessary labor, supervision, material, supplies, tools and equipment to perform the work". I quickly called to accept the proposal and was told it would be a 3 week wait, and that was fine with me because again, I loved Chris' professionalism and the detail of the proposal. I really felt the $386 quoted would be worth it for all the work and care proposed. That is why I was taken aback when an employee of All About Pipes showed up on 11/22/13 with no work order or copy of the proposal and a very vague idea of what he was to do. He determined almost right away that the guest bathroom didn't need any cleaning out or caulk removed and it was dry enough that he could just put fresh caulk in right them and there, and he did. I agreed to it because he's the professional, but told him the price needed adjustment because already the job was cut in half. He told me to call Mary at the office about a price adjustment (Uh-oh). After he caulked the guest bath, he did pull some old caulk from the main bath, which took all of 20 minutes, but he seemed confused when I mentioned fans for the weekend. After going outside to make a phone call he told me he'd have to go out to Lowe's and buy a fan. That's when I was positive there had been no communication or preparation for my job. He did return in about 15 minutes with a regular oscillating household fan, nothing professional or industrial as I'd expected. After he left I called the office to discuss a price change in light of the reduction in work as compared to the proposal. Needless to say, Mary was the most mean, nasty, anti-customer service oriented person I can remember dealing with. She kept insisting I was to supply the fans (WHAT?), even though the proposal clearly states the opposite in black and white. She also acted angry with me for questioning the "special cleaner" written in my proposal because I saw nothing like that. She said they have it in their office...but how does that help me? No "special cleaner" was wiped on the walls today either. Mary just stonewalled every question or point I had and kept talking over me saying, "You have to talk to the owner, Chris, and he isn't here until Monday." I had called there to ask a few simple questions and get a civil response. When I hung up I felt like I'd been in a fight, and I don't even know why. Terrible customer service on her part. I left the fan blow non-stop from Friday morning at 9am until today, Monday morning at 8:30. The plumber came back with nothing but a tube of DAP caulk. He filled in all the seams of the tub and shower and told me he could adjust the price a little, from $386.00 to $325.00. That was to pay for two trips here @ $150 each plus $25.00 for the caulk. I told him I refused to pay $25 for a tube of caulk that costs $3.99 at Home Depot. I did not fall for the story that they paid those prices from their distributor and I offered to go to the store, buy a tube of caulk and give it to him. He decided to not charge me for the caulk, but I still had to pay $300 for him coming to my house twice. Had I known it was going to be nothing more that the handy man was willing to do for $75, I would've gone with the handy man. I just thought I was contracting a really detailed, in-depth job with a professional contractor. Live and learn.

Although they did not have any available crews that day, I was told that if someone got done early I would be called back. Sure enough, later that afternoon I received a call asking if I had found someone else to do the work, as one of the crews had finished early. I had already been able to get another company to come out, but was very impressed with All About Pipes customer service. I would call them again for any future plumbing work.

Two plumbers arrived after I received a call from them saying their first job had gone smoothly and asking if they could come 2 hours earlier than scheduled. The funny part was that their first job was just across the street so I was looking at their truck when they called. I appreciated that the guys took the time to re-create the issue that caused me to call them in so they could investigate exactly which drains were being affected. I'm in a +100-year-old house so it took a bit for them to figure out how things were tied in. When the job was complete, they explained to me exactly what they had done and noted I might have tree roots in my lines. They were both professional and friendly and took their shoes off before walking through the house. I would be happy to recommend them and will have them back when I next need a plumber.

Everything so far is great. There is only one minor issue with one of the toilets plumbing. There was a leak in the dishwasher plumbing and they were very responsive and fixed the leak the next day. The got the entire job done in one day and did the inspection the following day. They also had to come back and reattach the water heater chimney ceiling flange, and also the water heater crash pool. We are not finding leaks and everything is to code. They used PEX pipe plumbing. They sent a crew of 6 men out to do the work. Their customer service was really fantastic and I knew if we had any problems it would be resolved quickly. Their price was around the same of all the other quotes we got.

Extremely well! - the guys called to say they could come by earlier than the scheduled time. I have never had a contractor arrive early - so that was a first. Taft and Bill were both very courteous and knowledgeable. They even called Kohler to get a replacement faucet, which ended up costing us nothing - another first. Installation/repairs went very well and they cleaned everything up afterwards. Considering how much time was spent on the job to get everything repaired, the charges were very reasonable - another first, not to feel price gauged. Now if only they did heating, air-conditioning and electrical repairs as well! I highly recommend All About the Pipes for all plumbing repairs, and will not be using anyone else in the future. Thanks again Taft and Bill - I appreciate all your efforts.
Description of Work: One of our toilets was making some very strange noises in addition to running at odd times. When i called All About the Pipes, they advised that we would be charged for a one hour service call, so I made a list of the other plumbing issues to fix - including a spray nozzle on the kitchen faucet that never worked.

Having moved into a home that was serviced by All About the Plumbing throughout the years, when the toilet started to run continuously, I called All About the Plumbing for a service call. The tech came the very next day, checked the toilet and adjusted remaining 4 toilets to make sure they were functioning properly. They considered this a warranty service call even if I was not the original owner of the house and they stood by their work. Second time I called them, the tech came out the next day (again!!) and found a leak in my irrigation system pipes, shut off the water and showed me what was wrong and how I can tell for future leaks. Again, considering this a warranty call, he was thorough, professional, courteous and very informative. I would recommend this company and its services for anyone looking for a reliable, contentious, professional service.

I spotted a leak in the ceiling of my master bath. I called All About The Pipes based on Angies List. I spoke with Mary, the office manager. She sent someone out that afternoon. Taft was the plumber and he determined that the toilet on the second floor was leaking. The floor was soaked. He suggested I call H2O drying systems. ( Also on Angies List) He said the toilets were very inexpensive. I decided to replace all my toilets with new ones. Jamie and Mark came out and replaced the toilets. All of the people I delt with were very professional. Taft gave me his cell phone number so I could stay in touch with him. I would recommend this company based on my experience.

First let me say I am a licensed GC and have been involved in and leading engineering and construction management opportunities for ~20 years. Chris and his team had quoted the job at my house where I am remodeling my master bath. We had negotiated terms and scope. and after coming to agreement on both, and multiple tries on my part to get in touch with Chris, his office manager informed me that they would be withdrawing their bid even though we were still in the 30 day period in which the bid should have been honored. The reason given to me was that they had signed other contracts that would take precedence, and they could not support my job. They didn't offer to delay, or any other option - just withdraw. If they had just explained their situation and offered to come to some resolution - like delay, I wouldn't be so upset, but no. In my experience their actions demonstrated poor management and customer service. The fact that I had called three times to get an update and they didn't even pick up the phone and call me to discuss it further emphasizes my point. I will not be using them for any other job I have.

I went on Angie's list and found the plumber and used them. They are excellent. The fact that I called them at 2 o'clock and they were here at 3.30. I did handed them the check book and said you fill it out. My wife literally had to use the bathroom anywhere may be 10 to 15 times a day she has MS and she is in a wheelchair and I was anticipating they were going to say we will be there first thing Monday morning and then they came out in an hour and a half. I would use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I used All About The Pipes Plumbing Inc. end of September. My wife is handicapped and we got three or four baths in the house because only one that she can use and it got all the bars and everything it broke on September 27th and I called and told them I had an emergency at 2 o'clock and they had an emergency technician here at 3.30. While he was here I asked them to rebuild the entire toilet, didn't need at all, that was my desire because there was a 7-year-old toilet and I knew that it wouldn't be long before other things started to go so they did the whole thing.
