 + -1 moreWe returned on Saturday May 24th after a week away on vacation. When my wife entered our pantry she said it felt hot and damp.. Then she noticed the half inch of water on the floor. A piece of pipe inside the wall in our pantry had developed a pinhole leak while we were away. I got on Angies List and started calling plumbers. This was at 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon on Memorial Day Weekend. I called down the list until I got to All About the Pipes. They were the only one that included an emergency number with their recording. Others that advertised 24/7 service didn't answer and haven't called back yet. I called thier emergency number and got Dan, their service manager. He got my details and said he'd be out in an hour. Dan arrived just as he said he would, assessed the situation, fixed it in about 15 minutes and charged what I thought was very reasonable for a Saturday afternoon on a holiday weekend. Great service and the only plumber I will call in the future.
Description of Work: A pipe had developed a leak while we were away on vacation and flooded our pantry. Dan, the service manager repaired the leak.

 + -1 moreWe called them around 9 AM and they had someone at our house by early afternoon. Our kitchen sink drain was totally clogged. First he tried a chemical solution, which he said usually unclogged drains, but it was unsuccessful. Then he tried snaking it. Several times with no success. Finally he had to go into the crawl space under the house to clean it out. After a couple of hours, he had the water draining again. The plumber worked very hard in a small space to get the job done.

Leaking a bit more heavily in the morning so I called "All About the Pipes" before 8 a.m. My lucky day because they were waiting to hear about another job so sent Mark out right then. He was polite and personable, getting right to work. No turn-off was available for shower so he found shut-off at street...under leaves. Mark identified the problem quickly and was able to make repairs rather than replacing the entire valve. I really, really appreciated that because I'm on a fixed income and this is the second (unrelated) plumbing issue I've had in 4 months. I called All About the Pipes this time because I was so pleased with their service the first time.

I requested service via their website later in the evening (probably around midnight this morning) and had a call at 7:00 AM to setup a 10:00 AM visit. I got a call at around 8:30 from an individual at around 8:30 who said they were in the area, and if I could get to the house, they could stop by early if I would like. They arrived on time and were extremely well mannered. They helped me find the issue and had solved it in literally 10 minutes. After that, they were more than helpful wanting to deal with any issues I was still having such as a non-related outdoor spigot issue. Fantastic service. Definitely will re-use
Description of Work: Provider came out and disabled line flow to unused freezer supply line that was leaking, removed the cable. Also went ahead and fixed some leaky outside spigots I've had problems with.

 + -1 moreMy appointment was for 1 pm. I heard a truck door shut outside and glanced at my watch. It was ! pm sharp. Dan M was the name of our technician and he could not have been more polite. He quickly realized what the problem was. The tub is on the second floor and access is very limited. He tried to access the drain by removing a recessed light fixture to try and keep from cutting a hole in the ceiling. A floor joist kept him from reaching the problem. He finally had to cut a small hole to fix the leak. After the leak was repaired, he gave me a name of an individual that could repair the hole. Without a doubt, I will use this company on any future problems.

Description of Work: Valentines night...my husband and I making dinner at home...kitchen disposal "throws Up" ..all sorts of lovely items from who knows how long...we clean it up....i go downstairs (brick ranch w basement style house) to wash the towels from our clean-up- all is fine and cleaned up...until...i go back downstairs to put towels in dryer....the pipe that carries water to washer and which is also connected to kitchen pipes....had totally overflowed and busted downstairs...water was EVERYWEHRE....laundry room, bathroom, playroom.... What a MESS!!!! Nothing we can do as it is late on a Friday night...however, first thing Saturday morning (post Valentines night mind you...) I Facebook messaged Chris/All About the Pipes....he returned my message within 15 minutes!!!!! Amazing....he gave me prompt information that he is sending "Mark" out now...! wow....soooo relieved and really top-notch customer service!!! Within one hour All About the Pipes was at our house and Mark was diligently working on snaking our line at the washer....he not only cleaned out that line, but also did all three bathroom sinks as "pre-cautionary"....A first-class job!!!
