They did very well! They came out on time, and did the job in a timely manner, and it looks good!

They were very clean and courteous and they did a really good job. I was pleased with the work they did. They also painted our gutters and did a pressure wash the price that I paid included the cleaning of the gutters as well.

Advantage was very easy to work with.

The painters were very hard working, polite and skilled. I could not have asked for a better group; they really aim to please. They even moved some extra furniture out that we were getting rid of. I would hire Advance Painting Contractors again.

Overall, the painting results were good. They even repaired a couple of partially rotted boards which we had not noticed. Coordination & communications was a challenge, however. Only the supervisor spoke English, and one of the two different supervisors barely understood us. Further, there was miscommunication between the office/estimator & the crew. Finally, we were not informed of a change in materials that the crew decided to make.

Great job - Clay met me and went through the details. He gave a spot on estimate that beat most of his competitors. The team was delayed one day due to rain, but finished the job on time. The house looks great, I could not have asked for a better job or experience.

I gave the job to Advance because of Clay (representative) and their reports on Angie's List. There was a lead painter which was good because the other 3 painters knew minimal English. They were quite good, very professional, trustworthy, and paid attention to detail. Clay came by on 2 different days to make sure I was satisfied and that there were no problems...I LIKE THAT! The painters were great at dealing with a wheelchair, a dog, and a crazy person, ME! The only minor issue was that paint drops were not cleaned up but after 4 long days, I think we all wanted to be back to normal. I would recommend this company.

The sales person came right away and gave us the estimate and info about the company and current clients. 5 years warranty. The work took 3 days to complete. Five people working non-stop. First, power washed the windows, the next day did some caulking, priming and trims, the third day all the painting (Porter). Did a clean and thorough job, very happy and we're glad we decided to go with this company.

They worked quickly and only took one break. They found areas they were supposed to be repaired by anther company and they were not repaired properly. Advanced completed the repairs.

Stood by the 18 month old estimate without changes. Scheduled the work in less than one week. Communicated issues and concerns as they arose. DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB. Detail work was great. Kept the property clean and stayed until I was satisfied. Other estimates were nearly double because they required "hand-brushing". Well, Advance hand-brushed everything (you have to with a Tudor). I don't know what I would have gotten for twice the price. I think I hit the jackpot with Advance.

Overall, it was a positive experience, but not without issues. The real issue is communication between the salesman and the crew. You need to have the salesman detail out everything you want done line by line. Do you want hand painted or air sprayed. Be specific on number of boards to replace, # of areas of rotten wood to repair, trim, doors etc. I almost fired them into Day 4 of painting, but the company in the end stood behind what they said they would do and made everything right after 12 tough days of work. I did not have to pay until I was satisfied. They also did a good job honoring the 5-year warranty and sent out an employee who spent a full day making everything look great! Also, most of their crews do not speak English, which is frustrating. I had many estimates for these projects and this company's price could not be beat.

I was upset to find them hanging out on my dock when I got home. I must have startled them when I came outside. On their way up to the house one of the guys had taken my husband's fishing net and ditched it under the bush in attempt to steal it. Once I informed the office about this they set out a different crew to complete the job. There were also some issues with the total price. There was a piece of wood that would need to be repaired which was included in the estimate. Before they would repair the piece they informed me I would need to pay extra. I went ahead and paid them to repair the piece so the job wouldn't be held up. The company did reimburse me for the repair after I called the office about it.

They were prompt, easy to work with, quality was really good, nothing had to be done twice, I think they are great.

It went fine. They called to let us know they were on their way (they would have called the day before, except it was a holiday). We're pleased with the job and consider it worth the cost.

I have hired them in the past and had the same result. Courteous. Great clean up and reasonably priced.

Clay was very professional and prompt in providing the estimate and description of how the work would be done. He assured me that they used professional crews who were use to painting in fully furnished homes. The overall quality of the work did not meet my expectations. The painters did a good job repairing and painting the ceilings, but were otherwise careless. There were rough spots on some of the wall and trim areas that should have been sanded before painting. The crew did not hang plastic when sanding to contain dust and there was dust throughout the entire house. Windows (8) and china cabinet doors (2) were not razored clean and I spent many hours getting paint off the glass and cleaning up the edges. There were paint footprints on a carpet and painters washed out paint cans on my front lawn. I pointed out many of these things to Gonzalo as the work was being done and he tried to be attentive, but it was clear that we had different standards.

I'm very disappointed with the quality of work done. On the date of painting, I had a emergency and was not at my house when the job was done. My husband and father were at home. When I returned, it was obvious that no sanding had been performed on the front door. I had been promised by the salesman that it would be sanded to take away the previously bad paint jobs from the previous owner of the house and I agreed to the price based on this representation. There are actually paint drips still on this door. I'm assuming that "sanding" wasn't on the work order and he wanted to be done with the job quickly. The painter also argued with my husband about providing the kick plate as promised. I'm most disappointed that when I called to complain on the same day, I was promised a return call back. I've called two times since leaving messages with no return phone call now after 10 days. They have lost my future business due to poor customer service.

Excellent. Attention to detail was first-rate. They arrived on time, and worked each evening until 7:30 pm. Finished on-time. Wall-paper removal was challenging, due to age of home (25 years), but they were patient and took great care in smoothing the walls and preparing for painting.

The representative that gave us the quote was very professional, prompt, thorough, cordial and followed up with us. The guys doing the work were very hardworking and meticulous. They paid great attention to detail. They were also very friendly, polite and fluent in English. We are delighted!

I also had got an estimate for outside work and was to get new shutters that were to be painted. Due to new or the shutters didn't come in, when I talked to the company I was told by the sales person that I worked with that the company didn't like a $262 job. Apparently they work in large the job wasn't big enough to send a crew out. We naturally agreed not follow up, and on the outside job. Though the date was set it was changed due to weather. I got a couple of part time painters on a Saturday. Times were also changed.

Received initial contact and follow up phone calls in a timely manner. Received estimate quickly. Estimator and workers were professional. Work was completed satisfactorily.

Frustration - the crew meant well, the experience of not having a lead at the house to answer questions, guide the crew, and communicate is unacceptable.
