Before beginning work Brian told me the two things that can cause the water build up in the drawer. After emptying the refrigerator and removing the shelves he took the back off the inside of the fridge. The problem was evident immediately and the part was replaced with a redesigned part (obviously this has been a problem for Samsung). Before leaving he checked the various features, ice makers, water dispenser etc. to make sure all was working again.

My 10 year old dryer had been making a new noise for a couple of weeks, sounded like something (probably a belt, I figured) slapping the inside of the dryer housing as it rotated. However, the dryer was functioning fine despite the noise, drum was rolling fine, no wobble, vibration, etc. My mistake was probably not investigating further myself, but things were hectic and I figured it would be a minor repair. Called One Source based on reviews here, they scheduled an appointment the following week. Cost to come out to the house was $65, which sounded pretty standard to me. My mother-in-law met the technician at the house. He listened to the noise and quoted $142 which included the $65 appearance fee. That sounded reasonable to me based on my expectation that there would probably be some labor and replacement parts required, and that he was providing a rather conservative quote to avoid any subsequent surprise if it was worse than expected. I have no issue there and in fact appreciate that approach. Having provided the quote and received the go-ahead from me, the technician remove the top of the dryer, saw that a belt had slipped off. He slid the existing belt back onto the drum, put a few dabs of Loctite on to better secure (glue) the belt to the drum to prevent repeat slippage, replace the top and declared himself done. Approximately five minutes of labor, no parts required. I did have the $10 off Angieslist coupon, so the fee was $132. I have no doubt this was an appropriate and acceptable repair for this scenario, but the bottom line is that after the coupon, I paid $67 for three dabs of Loctite and five minutes of work. In my opinion, a re-evaluation of the quote based on the work that was actually required is not unreasonable given that I already paid $65 for him to come out. Plus then he could get to the next job right away and potentially get additional work that day. I expect to pay something beyond the appearance fee, and appreciate a conservative quote prior to work, but if the work required is significantly less than was budgeted for in the quote, why not exercise a little good will in the name of customer service and a potential repeat customer? I called the owner the next day to share my opinion, not to request a refund or be a jerk or anything like that. Again, it was my decision to call someone out to the house rather than investigate myself. Lesson learned. To his credit, the owner Aaron called back promptly even though I hadn't left a message, and listened more patiently to my concerns than I would have expected, frankly. However, to me the bulk of his arguments don't really hold water: 1. "This is an industry standard approach" - ok, but that doesn't mean it's the best approach or a potential differentiator for you 2. "I have to account for the possibility that there is more work required" - Yes, that's why you give a quote at the higher end, to protect yourself. That just makes business sense. But if the experienced technician says "Yeah, I know exactly what this is" when he hears the noise, it just seems like there could be some flexibility after the fact when the scope is much less than the worst case scenario presented upfront. 3. "There are other guys that would gouge you and do work that wasn't required just to make more money" - that is irrelevant. I don't doubt that there are unethical people out there in this business, but that had nothing to do with this situation. I wasn't questioning his ethics and said so, just suggesting that there might be another way to ensure a satisfied customer. A rationalization like, "the other guys are worse" misses the point. Bashing the spectre of your competition is mostly an ickier, more defensive version of #1 above. Again, they were prompt and professional, and fixed the problem. For Aaron to call me back and listen patiently and respectfully to me was a class act. He allowed me to make my point and recognized that he wasn't going to change my mind, but showed no intention of changing his practice as is his wont. Lesson learned and I'll dig into these things more myself before I call in reinforcements.

Aron replied to my note and we setup a time for him to stop by. Her arrived on time and called 30 minutes prior to his arrival. After explaining to Aronwhat had happened a month ago with the broken glass, he started the dishwasher heard the noise and immediately diagnoised that something was in the pump. He pulled out the dishwasher and tipped it back, being careful not to scratch either the floor or the cabinets. He removed the pump cover and vacuumed out a small hard plastic piece that seemed to be the problem. Her reassembled everything and ran the dishwasher for a few minutes and it was once again running quiet. From his arrival to the time we shook hands as he was leaving was about 45 minutes. One Source Appliance Repair and Aron were prompt, communicated well and very professional. I will definitely call them again should I ever need any of my appliances repaired.

Aaron and Brian were professional and friendly; prompt and courteous - straightforward and helpful. I got same day service on a Friday afternoon! I feel reassured about my appliances working efficiently and safely! They fixed what was wrong on the same visit in less than an hour and did not make any unnecessary, more costly suggestions. I have already told my friends about One Source and my family is proud of the great decision I made to call these folks to help : ) They are dog friendly as well ")

Aaron arrived precisely on time, proceeded quickly and efficiently. He had been able to diagnose the issue over the phone, showing a good knowledge of our refrigerator. This allowed him to order the part ahead of time so that at his visit he had the part necessary to fix the appliance. He was also quite personable. We'll call One Source Appliance Repair the next time we need a repairman.

Aaron arrived at the appointed time and worked on the machine. He discovered the belt and the pulley needed replacing. The parts were ordered and by the next day he was back and repaired the machine to our satisfaction. The machine has been working perfectly since the repair. I would definitely use him for any of our appliances.

Aaron was professional and punctual. Great follow-up, a perfectionist.

I went through 3 other companies before I found Aaron, the repairman. He worked for another company and finally I learned that he went out on his own. I had paid 3 other service companies service calls, from $70-$90 to basically come out and do nothing. Aaron is very quick and very good with appliances. His prices are fairly reasonable. He knows exactly what's wrong when he takes it apart. He is very responsible. He calls before he comes to let me know he is on his way.

It went very well. He has been here multiple times with my microwave and oven. His name is Aaron and I am very familiar with him. He was unable to fix the dishwasher so I just had to pay for the service call.

I had a problem with the circuit breaker and not the washing machine. I did not like the price and I had to pay an electrician to fix the circuit breaker. They did not connect the wire to the circuit breaker which has the washing machine. I was charged for nothing. The machine started and it shut down. He simply took an extension code and replaced it and it worked. He was a polite man but his price was too high.

I was very impressed with Aaron- prompt, knowledgable, polite, intelligent etc. He just started this business a few months ago having worked for several years for Sears appliance repair. I will never buy Sears Kenmore products despite their good ratings on Consumer Reports because wait time for appliances under warranty is too long. Quick response time is most important to me and I was lucky to get Aaron to come over so quickly today to work on my Whirlpool dryer. He said he can work on most brands and is an authorized LG appliance repairman. He also cleaned my Whirlpool refrigerator coils while here. I will definitely call him again. He's someone you could feel comfortable having in the house if you were away and wanted to leave a key and check etc. My previous long term appliance repairman was booked out over a week. I'm planning to switch to Aaron for future repairs.

Washer is now fixed! Good communication for appointment scheduling and arrived on time. Washer would not drain or spin. Aaron was able to remove a sock that was stuck in pump quickly and efficiently. He also had good suggestions on other washer/dryer preventative maintainance. He even offered suggestions on a freezer problem I was having. Aaron is knowledgable in appliance repair, honest and very professional. Price was fair. I would not hesitate to call him again if in need of appliance repair.

Appointment window was for 8-12; arrived at 12:40 after calling shortly before 12 to report running late. Very annoying when changing work schedule to accommodate this appointment. Work was prompt and efficient once there; repair diagnosed and made, other maintenance suggested and performed. Technician knowledgeable and helpful; provided additional information and tips. I will employ this firm again as needed.

Aaron has been exceptional. He left nothing undone and has done a great job. I recommend him to all. Aaron is just a pleasant young man and a gentleman.

I was extremely happy with my experience. Aaron was unfailing polite and explained what he was doing as he did it. He answered any questions I had, wasn't annoyed when I observed him working, and really seemed to care about doing the job right. Replacing the washing machine hoses had been on internal to-do list for quite some time, so that was a no-brainer while he was here, once I decided to pay for the additional appliance inspections. We also talked about the water line in the freezer, which I'd had spring a leak on a previous refrigerator. I was ready to replace it, too, but when Aaron looked behind the fridge, he said that it had a higher-grade hose and didn't need to be replaced. I am always so happy when a repairman has the opportunity to sell me something but tells me I don't need it. I think that's the mark of someone who puts his customers above his profits. I would not normally have bought the Afresh tablets on the spot, but by that point, I had such confidence in Aaron's professionalism and honesty that I decided I'd go ahead and follow his suggestion that they would be good for the machines. I looked them up online, and his price for them is neither the most expensive nor the least expensive, so I feel good that he wasn't marking up the prices substantially. I have a Whirlpool dishwasher and an LG washer. Aaron said that many appliance repair companies won't work on them, because the electronics are so complicated. I'm glad to have found him and will be using him again whenever I need an appliance fixed -- which I hope isn't soon!

Woke up on Saturday AM to dead frig. Called Aaron Wilkins, owner, he was out on another job and came within an hour. Wonderful young man who was employed by huge retail store as service repairman. KNowledgable and good businessman, very professional. Truly has head screwed on straight for young family man. Pleasure to have in the house, respectful and outgoing. In an instant would ONLY use him again. VERY honest!

Everything went great - from the owner personally answering the phone on my first call @ 7:30 AM to his getting my oven operating again while waiting for the replacement part to be ordered for the cleaning mechanism. Great response considering I was getting an error message only 3 days before having dinner for 18 in my home!
