I originally spoke with someone in the office, and he said he would talk to his boss to see if they could work out anything. A day later, the owner called me back to apologize, and instructed me to get back in touch with Angie's List. The company seemed fine, it just didn't work out due to my location.

Leaf removal, cut grass, trim walks, $75, Cary NC My girlfriend?s birthday was the other day. For the past several weeks she has been telling me how her yard looks ?terrible? and how she was not looking forward to cutting the grass one last time for the winter and getting rid of all the leaves. I sent an email to Lawn & Order (Mon 11/26/2012) through Angie?s List explaining how I would like to give my girlfriend a birthday present of lawn care. Joe, Lawn & Order?s owner, replied the same day by email asking for specifics as I did not include them in my original email to him. I replied by email telling him I would call him the next day. I called their office the next day (Tues 11/27/2012) and Joe was in a meeting so I spoke with Rob, his foreman. I explained that I wanted to give my girlfriend a lawn care birthday present of leaf removal and grass cut. Rob said he would be in the area where she lives on Wed and would go by, take a look and call me with an estimate. On Wednesday (11/28/2012) around 11:30 AM Rob called from my girlfriend?s house (she was at work) with an price of $75 to cut & trim the grass and blow the leaves into the natural area on the back and side and pile the leaves from the front at the curb for the city to pick up. He said his crew was with him and could do the work right then. I gave him the go ahead and sent a check to Lawn & Order ? without inspecting the work. After work, later that day I went to my girlfriend?s house to celebrate her birthday. Was she ever surprised when she drove up and saw the lawn and leaves had been tended to! Rob and his crew did an excellent job. This whole transaction was handled by phone as I live 45 minutes from my girlfriend?s home. The Lawn & Order people were very professional and performed the work agreed upon in excellent fashion. I would use them again and suggest you do too.

All the guys worked hard and accomplished the project in less time than I had estimated. I was pleased with the work and also let them put fungicide on the lawn while they were here.

Emailed request for quote then had to go out of town. Scheduled a visit and after a little back and forth settled on a price. They came out soon after and worked around the threat of rain to finish the job quickly. They were easy to talk to and willing to make suggestions on other issues. A good job was done and they did not leave a mess.

Joe was very prompt in responding to our request for a quote from Angie's List and I was impressed with his knowledge of what needed to be done to get our yard back under control & for us to be able to get grass growing again. A day after requesting a quote, Joe & his crew were out in our yard, cleaning up the "mess". I've never been a big fan of yard work and with my husband & I both being extremely busy, we just didn't have the time to do it. We also wanted to be able to enjoy our back yard. Part of the appeal for us purchasing this house was the half acre lot that provided shade, had beautiful Saucer Magnolias, and large beautiful Azaelas. However, a lot of yard work & maintenance comes with having such a beautiful yard. Joe was able to tell us exactly what we needed to do with our yard to get it ready for seeding in the fall to where we can have grass again. He was also able to work with us on schedule & price. Joe & his crew were extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt. I look forward to continuing to work with him over the coming years. We were finally able to enjoy relaxing in our back yard for the first time in years!

Since we were expecting company, Joe and his guys performed the services on the same day we asked. They did a super job! The yard looked great--in a hurry. I am so grateful to have found Joe--he is punctual, polite, and does excellent work for a fair price. I definitely recommend Lawn and Order. We have set up a regular maintenance schedule with them.

They always do a great job and its very clean afterwards. If ever we have debris, which we do a lot in our yard due to our big pines, they clean it up before they mow!

They've worked out pretty good so far. They did an excellent job. They come and do the job everything 3 weeks.

Joe came out promptly after I contacted him to do a walk around and get information about what I needed done. He provided a written estimate via e-mail in about a week as he said he would. We had some trouble starting because of rain delays several times but once a date was found, they showed up on time and worked throughout the day - finishing in 1 day. Everything went well the day of the actual work. We would use them again.

The owner Joe answering the call, came out himself to give an estimate. He returned on day of job with two employees and worked very well aroung two horsses.

Joe was quick to respond to my phone call. He came out and walked around my backyard to get a feeling of what I was looking for. He made a second trip with his gardener (who ROCKS by the way..I was impressed with his knowledge of plants, etc.) to get his take of my overgrown backyard and needs. Joe quickly came back with a quote and some suggestions. I approved his plan and a few days later they were out working on my backyard. They cleared out dead bushes and trees, cleaned up the good bushes and trees, helped with clearing the ground ivy that started taking over my yard and climbing up the pine trees (I hate ivy, and they were very kind to offer suggestions on how to get rid of it for good) and any other clean up that was needed. They offered advise on what my other needs are, for example, some of my plants have a fungus, and told me what to use to treat it, they would have done it for me, but this was something I wanted to do myself, and they happily provided me the info to do so. Joe and his team are awesome and very nice to work with!! Overall I am very happy with the results and Lawn and Order will be my go to guys for all future yard work!!

Every time he comes he does an excellent job. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an all around yard man to take care of things for him. You never have to go behind him or call him back because things were not done properly

Joe returned my call within a few hours and scheduled a time to come out. He and one of his employees arrived right on time. We discussed the work and they completed it quickly and efficiently. They did a terrific job. The best thing about this company is interacting with Joe. He is fair, honest, straightforward, down-to-earth, positive energy, and all around good people. Definitely hire Lawn & Order. Very positive experience.

The owner explained the process he would use to perform the work. He made his time lines clear for each phase of the job. The work was completed as described. We were satisfied with the results.

We scheduled the service two days from the time I called. Joe arrived 10 minutes early and we walked around the yard and discussed the job. He was helpful in discussing options for several price ranges. He blew the leaves down to the curb and cut/bundled fallen limbs for the city to pick up. He was quick, efficient, professional, fair, and very positive energy. I'll definitely call Lawn & Order again.

Their quote came in 15% above the other quote, they required a $300 initial service fee (which the other company did not), and they offered less service. Thumbs down on their pricing, but the owner was very prompt in providing me an estimate.

The day after I'd requested the estimate, Joe called to tell me he'd sent it in my email. He wanted to be sure it did not get trapped by my spam-proofing. I reviewed the estimate and approved it, by email. He promptly replied, setting a scheduled date for May 11. A couple of days later, he called to say he was having a problem finding one of the shrubs I'd specified, and asking if I was okay with a different varient on the shrub (Tiny Tim Pyracantha versus Low Boy Pyracantha). I approved. The weekend before he was due to arrive, he called to tell me there would be a delay because of all the rain we'd had the preceding week, which did not surprise me. What did surprise me is that the delay was only one day. Today, the 12th, he called around 8am to tell me he expected to arrive within an hour to begin the work, and he arrived as he'd stated. He and his 2-man crew set to work. During the course of the day, we discussed changes in the planned placement of some plants, with members of the crew patiently carrying pots of plants around and trying them in various areas, while giving me advice regarding the sun/shade requirements of those plants so we would place them correctly. They also identified a shrub that I already had, stating that it would grow to about 6 feet tall and 6 feet around and suggesting that putting another shrub right next to it might not be a great idea. Before they left, they set up the sprinkler to begin watering the new sod, made sure I understood the watering requirements, showed me how to check to ensure that the sod was becoming established, and cleaned the walk and pavement in front of the house. In addition to the planned work, they brought additional pine straw mulch and placed it (without charging me extra for it), and also moved a miniature rose bush and some daisies that we'd not discussed - again with no extra charge. The daisies had to be moved because we decided to plant on of the new butterfly bushes where they were. The rose - well they did that simply out of their courtesy. They displayed professionalism throughout, and a good knowledge of the plants and shrubs that they bought and that I already had, which helped ensure that we planted them correctly and I hope will help ensure the plants' good health.

Joe was very polite. He did everything I asked, and the yard looked great when they finished. I'll definitely have them back to do more work in the future.

They will be doing my lawn every other week. I was very pleased. They were prompt and professional. They were easy to work with.

Joe Bailey and his workers have performed various tasks in our yard, from delivery and spreading of a dump-truck load of mulch, to removal of leaves from our wooded half-acre lot, to grass cutting. Joe is professional, courteous, and prompt. He was scheduled to remove our leaves this winter, and was driving through our neighborhood when he saw the city leaf removal truck. Joe moved our yard ahead on his schedule and finished removing our leaves that afternoon, just ahead of the truck's arrival on our street. He put forth extra effort - at no extra cost - to move us ahead on his schedule so the huge mass of leaves would not remain unnecessarily on the curb.
