David was great! I had a birds nest clogging my dryer vent, and it needed some cleaning. He had the Best price and he was able to come to my home the very next day. It didn't even take him a full hour to complete. I no longer hear the chirping and flapping in my walls. And he was kind enough to fix my vent hose and replace the vent covers so the birds can't return. Highly recommended!

Mr. Arthur arrived on time, very polite & professional. He went straight to work & completed the job on time & at the quoted price, even though he had to remove a squirrel that had recently fallen into the chimney as well as replacing the chimney cap that was broken.

David did a grat job. His fee was perfect. He left no mess behind and our chimney looked great. Even fixed some flashing at chimney base without charging extra. He will definitely be our go to chimney guy for all future cleanings.

I hired Carolina ProSweep to inspect and clean my gas fireplace. Let me preface this review by stating that I had only turned off the fire portion of the fireplace before he arrived. I asked him if he was going to shut off the pilot, or the gas and he told me it wasn't necessary. What professional doesn't do this? After he finished the work and I inspected everything, I noticed that he had not gotten all of the debris from the stack. He went back to his van and brought back the vacuum and took care of it, no problem. I also noticed that he hadn't put the logs back exactly as they had been. I had to show him how a couple of them had been, previously. What professional chimney sweep doesn't know this? After he left, however, I realized that not only was the glass surround not securely fastened, but the fireplace wouldn't turn on. I immediately called him and he came right back. It took 30 minutes for him to figure out that he didn't have the glass seated properly and the safety switch wasn't engaged. I question what knowledgeable professional doesn't know this. After he left, and the fireplace was turned on, the flames were orange, which means that it was not cleaned properly. The flames should be blue, and should not actually come into contact with the logs, I've since learned. There was exudation (soot) at the area on the back of my home where the fireplace vents to the outside, which he cleaned, as well. A day later, the soot had returned, which is another indication of the work he didn't do. I feel like I gave it enough time for the rest of the stuff to burn away.He completed the work on 01/04/17, and two days later, when it still was orange, I just shut off the fireplace, completely, for fear of this being the cause of a house fire. I did not call him back to fix this because it is apparent to me that he really doesn't know how tho do this job. I decided to take the glass back down and inspect the log positioning, myself, and I have discovered that one of the bolts that holds the glass surround in place will no longer back out. It is continuously spinning. So now this is more money that I have to pay out, to an actual professional to fix the botched up job that he did. I can't use my fireplace until this issue is fixed, which will cost me extra money.. Was he courteous? Yes, he was very courteous. Was he knowledgeable? I would not say that he was, no. Would I re-hire him or recommend his service to anyone else? Absolutely not! He did manage to get in, that he also did dryer vent cleaning, and pressure washing, but I will not be needing his help in those areas, either!
