They're very friendly & take the time to explain things to you - what they're looking for & what they find. For example, even though they found a couple carpenter ants I was told it wasn't a problem in the house because they didn't find any trails outside. They sprayed everywhere - inside & out - & put down poison for mice. This recent call, I found some tiny powder beetles in the barn, which they had not looked in previously. They're very thorough & reasonably priced. Their sprays are also non-toxic to me & my 2 indoor dogs.

The entire process was nice. They showed up quickly to estimate and determine what needed to be done and then the work happened very quickly. They worked hard and fast and did a great job, I can barely see the marks where they drilled the slab.

Good experience from start to finish

I am on an annual contract with them. They are focused on mice as well as bugs and are very good. The previous owner of the house had used them and they are very responsive. The job went fine and they seem to be thorough, prompt with their service and know what they are doing.

I have a yearly contract with them. The prices are reasonable. The services are prompt. I do not remember on the amount I spent the last time.

I recommend Gibson Pest Control Inc. The only thing that they have not been helpful with, is the squirrel control in our attic. Other than that we have been very happy with them.

I would recommend Gibson Pest Control without hesitation. They were very courteous when I called and quickly set an appointment for an inspector to come. Christina came out, inspected the house, and was prepared to treat that day but I changed my mind (based on her advice) to switch the chemicals. She returned a few days later (earlier than the appointment), and treated the yard, house, and outbuilding for spiders and ants. She was so nice and I enjoyed talking with her as she educated me on the world of insects. She went above and beyond to help me with my insect problems and I would recommend her to friends!

So far, I'm pleased with the services provided by Gibson Pest Control. When I called them for help, they sent a service man promptly. , He showed up exactly when promised. He was pleasant, professional and thorough. After his initial inspection, he returned promptly to set out the bait stations and sticky traps.

Went well. All people were professional and polite.

He was on time. He really did what he said he was going to do. The bees are gone. I would use him in the future.

We ask them to use green products and they do and they work great.

We've used them for 10 years. They seem to take care of our problems and have cut down on the number of insects we've had. They are professional and personable. They are good at what they do and that is why we have stayed with them.

I will be using again in a month. They are going to be pretreating a foundation for termites we are doing in near future 1 or 2 months out. They provide very personalized service. They are really good in making sure that everything is taken care of and make sure I am happy. They are little more expensive in the competition, but they are good. I would use them again.

Prompt service, polite staff and no problem of re-occurence at this time.

After I called them to explain the problem they sent someone out the same evening to inspect the house and performed the service within a couple of days. They were very considerate and professional - I appreciated the fact that they wore booties to avoid tracking dirt into my home and finished the job promptly.

Overall the service was outstanding. We used Angie's list to look for " A " companies. Two companies were selected to provide estimates. Both companies did a great job but the winner was Gibson Pest Control. Our first meeting was with Cecil Martin, Sales Manager. Cecil has a great background in pest control work. He did a fabulous job in explaining the services, (conventional and green ) the costs, the history and commitment to customer service that is a trademark of Gibson Pest Control. From our first meeting with Cecil, through the completion of the service ,we appreciated the honesty of each Gibson team member we met. Although it may sound a bit traditional, each person looked you in the eye as they introduced themselves and reached out to shake your hand. We ask Greg several pest control questions during the treatment process . He is a walking book of knowledge ! We truly appreciated his ability to listen and answer our questions in lay person's terms. It was very clear from our conversation with him that the Gibson Family stands behind their service. Additionally, if we were in Brian's area during the trench, treat, drilling process he was never too busy to take a moment to ask if we had a question. That gesture was another sign of caring about the customer. We highly recommend using this company. We would also suggest that if you're considering someone else, it would be worth it to give Gibson an opportunity to tell you about their service and their company.

Due to the fact that we live in a country setting near a farm, we have encoutered mice in the past and had them under control through our previous provider, but we have found evidence of droppings with present Gibson service.

I found them on Angie's List. I have a yearly contract with them. Whatever we notice they take care of; hornets, wasps, and any type of pest. They don't take care of bats but everything else; not bears. I will be getting another contract for this year.

Did the job to my satisfaction. Very professional.

It went very well. They arrived within an hour, sprayed the area the slab would be poured in and gave me a certificate to show the City when they came to inspect the slab. The rep who sprayed was very nice and professional.

We have been Gibson Pest Control contract customers since 2006, and because we live in woods, Gibson comes out four times a year to keep our insect pests under control. We've always been happy with their services, so they were the first company we called when, shockingly, we discovered a bed bug problem in the master bedroom. We had traveled this past July to Colorado, visiting family, and found out, after our return, that my brother, who had been to the Bahamas in November, had brought them back--not only to his own home in Las Vegas but also to my mother's home in Colorado, where we had been visiting. So bed bugs then came to Asheville with us! Gibson Pest Control came to our rescue with a true professional, who, after looking around carefully, determined that they were still in the early stages of nesting and likely confined to the boxsprings. To be on the safe side (and, as he said, "for peace of mind,") Gibson would treat the mattress, box springs, and all the furniture in the room, as well as the entire room itself and the walk-in closet floor, as well as the master bathroom. He told me how to get it all ready for treatment, which took me a few days (it takes a lot of work so I got some help), and then Gibson sent another one of their professionals to spray. We would have been able to return to our room the next day, but it took us five days until we could take the time to put on a bed bug protection kit on both the box spring and mattress (following the expert's suggestion). We had bought the "Protect-A-Bed" brand from our local HHGregg store and we're so far very happy with it. By the way, the spray was not noxious and left no residue that we could discern, and we have not have had any adverse reactions to it, even right after it was done or while it was drying. Two weeks later, I called and asked for a house check, being worried that bed bugs had spread to the living room below, where we had slept on a futon while the bedroom was being treated. The expert came over again, and found that the "specimen" I had collected from the living room was likely beetle feces (!!). As it turns out, I had noticed two flying beetles in the house the day that I had collected the "specimen." The insect world is surely an interesting one . . . and there's more to it than I want to know about!! Anyway, Gibson's bug expert is a great guy, easy to talk with, easy to work with, and very thorough. He inspired confidence in us when he told us that the bugs would be eradicated because we were getting them early, and he inspired confidence again when he came out for the follow-up that I had asked for. He investigated all likely nesting-places in both the bedroom and living room, and found nothing at all. The bugs certainly seem to be gone. We are seeing no evidence of their shed exo-skeletons, and the bites have completely ceased. We know this because my husband had had a reaction to them much like what poison-ivy does, and he has not had any problem since the treatment. It was to our advantage when we discovered the problem early, and we're grateful that Gibson was able to recognize the need for limited treatment only, which cost us less. Of course, we are still watchful (bed bugs are not necessarily eradicated easily), and if we see/experience any more bed bugs, we'll certainly call Gibson Pest Control again.

They are straightforward and honest. They did everything in half a day; it took about four or five hours. If no termites appear and everything seems okay, I would say they did okay. We had a lot of little ants which can indicate the presence of termites, but we don’t have those anymore. I thought the price was a little high and I'm sure I could have found someone for less if I had shopped around. No one came back to check that everything was done.

The gentleman with whom I spoke was nice enough and told me not to be concerned about it because the season was just about to end. What I don't understand is why he said that. The season won't end for potentially another couple of months then it starts again next spring. I thought he was just being another nice NC fellow - giving information and not coming to my home and charging me for work I could do myself. At this stage, I feel as though he either did not know how to eradicate the bees or just blew me off. (I am the partner of the person under whose name is listed for Angie's List.) Based on all the reading I've had to do, it's a rather difficult problem to eradicate (I've seen it in other locations, however, and know it's not impossible) and one must stay on top of it. I'm doing what I can but obviously not based on what I was told by the fellow on the phone from this company.

GIBSON PEST CONTROL INC. wanted us to see if we wanted to use their service regularly. That would give us the yearly rate, which was cheaper. I get 60 days to decide. They did a really good job with the work.

It is $300 for a year?s service. They are very prompt. They keep up with me and they are very pleasant to work with. I would use their services in the future too.
