From the original contact with Marshall of Carolina Ductmasters I was treated very well and he took the time to explain exactly what work was to be performed. He answered a few questions that I had relative to the work. I called the next day to schedule the work. Their schedule allowed me to be somewhat flexible and it was scheduled for the following week at my convenience. On the date and time that was agreed upon 2 men (Shawn & Lee) arrived and explained exactly what was to be done by them and answered a couple of questions that I had. Once they started to do their work, it was done very efficiently and they made sure that the area that they worked in was cleaned prior to moving on to the next area. Both of these men were very courteous to both me and my wife and at the end of their work again took time to further explain what we could expect . Prior to leaving they stressed the fact that if any problems arose that we shouldn't hesitate to contact the office.

I was very pleased with their work. One service person performed all the duct cleaning. They removed each register and return grill and vacuumed it thoroughly while taking great care to be very tidy. The actual vacuum was in the truck and the hose was in the house. They were able to come a little earlier than the appointed time as they had an earlier cancellation and the service man called us to ask our permission to come before our appointment time. He completed our job in 2 hours.I would definitely give them an A+.

We are undergoing major renovations on our house and had a new HVAC installed. While the ducts were disconnected we noticed the accumulation of dust inside the ducts. The house was built in the sixties. While the tech was swirling the brush inside the ducts mats of dirt were ripped from the sides and sucked up by his shop vac. The great thing about doing it at this point is that the large ducts could be taken outside. The tech was scheduled to arrive between 10 and 10 30. At about a 9:45 he called saying he would be 30 minutes late. He arrived at 10:15.

It went well. They cleaned all of our duct and they also recommend in repairing our fireplace for us. They were very courteous and the speed of service was great.

They were great to work with. Scheduling was easy and they arrived as on time. Two technicians came to the home and it took them under an hour to do the dryer vent cleaning. They were very nice men to work with.

I could not be happier with the entire process. As noted above, he was very professional and he took his time to make sure everything was very clean. Our house is 15 years old and we are the second owner. The previous owner had pets as do we so I knew the ducts were very dirty. This was confirmed by actually hearing the debris being sucked through the hose! Although he said that it wasn't as bad as I thought, it definitely needed to be done as there was evidence of material in the ducts from the time the house was built! Gross! I will be using them again next year and would and have recommended this company to others.

I've never had my ducts cleaned before, so I have nothing to compare this experience with. All I can share is how it compared to my expectations. Whether or not my expectations are reasonable, I cannot say. One of the crew members had called in sick that morning, so only one person showed up to do a job that is usually done by two people. I appreciated his honoring the appointment. I'm not sure whether having only one person impacted the thoroughness of the job or not. I will say that the person who came was very nice, friendly, and responsive. But the overall impression of the equipment he used was less professional than I expected. The reason I had this service performed was to improve the quality of the air in my home. What concerned me about the quality of the work is that for several days after the service, there was a stale odor coming through my system, in spite of the fact that he had sprayed a deodorizer into the system when he was finished cleaning. I can appreciate that cleaning the ducts out would stir up particles that would need to settle out of the system. But I was not happy with the results compared to what I expected. If what I experienced is typical, it might have been good for him to let me know what to expect and why. If I ever have this service done again, I will try another company, just to see if this result is typical or whether it was an inferior job.

I am so pleased with Carolina Ductmasters work. I was able to get an appointment within a week of calling them. Shawn and Lee arrived and immediately went to work. They discovered that my dryer vent was completely clogged. They worked until the vent was completely cleaned out. They recommended a different type of vent tubing to help with this problem. They quickly cleaned all the ductwork and wall vents in the condo They cleaned up the little bits of debris from the floor. Throughout the entire job Shawn and Lee were cheerful and courteous, answering any questions I had. They even found the proper size screw that was needed to close the cover on my HVAC unit. I highly recommend this service to anyone.

They arrived on time and set about working very quickly after explaining what they would cover. I am very happy with the service I was provided and will use them again when the need arises. I will recommend them to friends and family.

I called to have my air ducts cleaned due to my allergies. They were able to come out two days later. The guys were timely and did a good job. They were careful when moving my furniture to get to the vent. When they went under the house they saw my dryer vent line was down, so they re-hung it and cleaned it. Although they charged me $75 more it was well worth it because my clothes dry so much faster. My allergies have also improved since the ducts were cleaned. I would definately recommend these guys and use them again.

it was one of the best experienced I've had. very courteous, puncture, and knowledgeable about all services that wsee being performer. I would definitely use them again because they answered all my questions.

Technician arrived on time and proceeded to bring vacuum hoses and cleaning brushes into home. Each floor duct was brushed and vacuumed as were all four air intakes. Two of the ducts were located under cabinets and were inaccessible from inside the home so the technician went into the crawl space, disconnected the air duct tubes and cleaned/vacuumed both ducts. Everything was completed in a professional manner.

They arrived late due to wrong number given to them. However, Mitch and Jessie were very personable and pleasant throughout their visit. I showed them where all the vents and returns were and they got to work immediateyl bringing in what looked like just a long vacuum hose. They started with the attic upstairs exposing wires just below the intake unit. I stood and watched them tear away the insulated covering to get to the open empty aluminum box (intake unit). They vacuumed it out and taped the insulated covered hose ring back on.They then cleaned the 3 intake"filter" vents and 8 air vents in the ceiling upstairs. (Cover all items before they arrive since no bag is held beneath ceiling vents. I have white powder on my desk beneath an "filter" vent because I wasn't paying attention at the time it was being vacuumed out.)They commented that my vents are really clean already. I wish the price could be adjusted when vents are already clean. They proceeded downstairs and cleaned all floor and 2 "filter"vents with a brush (loosens dirt) and vacuum. It was explained to me that floor vents are usually dirtiest due to sweeping and day-to-day activities. I also have a cat so litter and cat food was also possible. However, but for A few dead spiders, they commented the vents were really good Again I wish the fact that vents aren't full of gunk could be factored into the price not just the number of vents. I paid them (my choice at this time) then they proceeded to crawlspace to clean another intake unit. They were back in the house a short time later to unplug their electric cord (oh yeah...be willing to have your door cracked for the hose and really thin power cord throughout this process). It took them about 2 hours. I tipped them really really well prior to them departing just for being so nice - conversation was great! My appointment was scheduled the next day after I called. The price quoted was based on the number of vents/ intakes and reflects a 100 discount due to a July special and a 50 discount due to Angie's member.

It went great! The guys showed up promptly and got the dirty job done! They were professional and informative too. My family and I just moved to South Carolina and moved into a supposedly "clean" rental home... Not only was the rental home unsanitary (you can hide filthy!) and far from "clean", but the air ducts and system looked like it had NEVER been cleaned... coming from a mama of little ones, this was very gross. However, Carolina Ductmasters saved the day. They let me take pics and I documented everything, including the dead animal they found in the vent system... When they were done with the services, I was a little more at ease knowing the air quality for my little ones and us was better and a lot cleaner than before. The guys did a great job and didn't miss a step. The services performed were well worth the cost to me. If I had to choose between breathing in dead animals and rodent feces/waste or paying to have professionals come out and clean the air ducts that give us our air to breathe... I'd pay Carolina Ductmasters to come out for a visit! *p.s.* Unfortunately, due to the long term neglect of the home and the unsanitary conditions- I've decided to move my family into a healthier living environment. Note to self: Always check beforehand to make sure the Landlord/home owner is willing to cover air ventilation cleaning costs done by PROFESSIONALS (telling me a shop vac with a 3 foot hose would have done the job "just fine" doesn't count in a moms eyes!). Lesson learned, but it was well worth the money to know for sure that what my children were breathing was clean and sanitary. Carolina Ductmasters did exactly what was needed, comforting experience from this company. I'll recommend them whenever I get the chance.

They were very good. They were very trusting. They called before they came as well as the day before. Everyone was very friendly. They were very friendly to my dogs as well.

It was very good. The man came on time and did a very good job. He left my house in the same condition as when he came, he didn't leave any messes. We felt that it was a good medium price. He were very happy with the service.

It was excellent! I called Friday for pricing (gave numbers of vents and returns) and they were here Monday. The gentlemen who arrived were really nice and professional, which was comforting when you have people coming to your home. The guys did a great job cleaning the vents and explaining where they saw issues. They also were careful not to let my dog out and were very careful around my belongings when cleaning. I wish I could call them for every maintenance item I need done around here! I wish I could give them an A+ and will highly recommend them to friends and family as well as call them again when we need this done again.

The workman was very punctual,courteous and did a thorough job. He also cleaned up afterwards.

This company did a fine job cleaning the ducts and dryer vent in my house. I assumed that they would do an equally good job installing the cold air return vents so I would be able to use filters (the house was built without the ability to filter the air). We were not going to be at our home for a couple of weeks so I made arrangements for them to be allowed in and to do their work without oversight based on my expectation that they would do a professional job. I came home the Sunday before Christmas to find that they installed the return vents but had not put any filters in them or left the dimensions of the necessary filters. During the installation, they must have beaten or torqued the stud that the vent was attached to causing nail pops up the entire length of the stud. We had just had the inside of the house painted. I called them on Christmas Eve (Monday) and was told that the manager would call me back and that the owner was out of the country. It was no surprise that I didn't get a call back since it was the holidays. We took pictures and had the painter fix the wall. She only charged $75 even though she had to repaint that whole section of wall to make the paint match. I called again after Christmas and their service manager called me a day later. I explained what happened and he seemed to understand. He said that he would tell the front office and someone would get back with me. They didn't. I called again after New Years and got the owner or general manager. He was very defensive and told me that things just happen during installation. He said that I shouldn't have fixed the problem because they had people for that. He didn't even want to see my photos and said they didn't matter. I told him I was disappointed that nobody called to say they messed the wall up and would have someone fix it. He just kept trying to rationalize the situation and said that he wouldn't be able to pay for the repairs because they had their own people who could have done it cheaper. I have not heard back from them and it is January 11, 2013. I don't expect that I will. It was not surprising that the wall was damaged. It was not surprising that their wasn't anyone around during the holidays to jump right on the problem. It WAS surprising to find a manager who was not interested in correcting the problem caused by his workers.

Carolina Ductmasters gave me an instant estimate over the phone and scheduled service the next day. They arrived early and worked very diligently to complete the jobs. They were very thorough in their work and very informative of the condition of the chimney and ductwork. The price was very reasonable for all the work they did for me. I was very impressed overall and would definitely use the company again and recommend them to others as well.

I called on a Saturday, and they were able to schedule me for the following Wednesday. The technicians arrived on time and were pleasant to work with. They spent approx. 3 hours cleaning the air ducts. They cleaned 23 floor vents and 4 return vents. In addition, they sanitized all and checked the units in the crawl space. I was amazed at what they cleaned out of there!

It was wonderful! The two guys were so friendly. They found my house out in the middle of nowhere and arrived on time! I realized the day before they were to come that I wrote the appointment down in my book incorrectly and thought I had one more day to prepare for their arrival. But that was just not to be. I wanted to have the house a bit cleaner before they got there, but did not get as far as I had wanted to. I was very apologetic about my embarrassment, but they just laughed and reassured me that they totally did not mind. There were a few pieces of furniture that needed to be moved and they did it without incident. My two children were home throughout the cleaning and the guys didn't say one word about them being in the way and didn't mind them watching their cartoons in the room in which they were working. They actually taught me a lot about the system, the filters and air intakes in particular. I love to learn things about taking proper care of a house, as I am recently separated, and having to do many things I have never had to do before.
