They didn't fix it and it continued to leak. They didn't come when they said and they put someone who was very inexperienced up on the roof.

Ductmasters was able to provide me a quote over the phone based on the size of my house and the number of vents and returns. This quote was accurate, that's exactly what I payed. Initially I was contacted a few times to reschedule my service, but I was not in a hurry and the contact was very friendly.On the day of service I was not home, my boyfriend handled the visit for me. Carolina Ductmasters was on time and worked very quickly. Some problems... One vent was not replaced properly. One vent that was painted on, instead of cutting the paint, the paint was ripped and left looking very ragged and peeled on the wall. In the largest room in my house I have 2 heating vents. They only cleaned one and said the other vent was disconnected.1. if the vent is disconnected, doesn't that fall under the category of finding and fixing problems with the ductwork. 2. if I'm charged by vent, and this vent is not cleaned, why has my price not changed.3. the vent is not disconnected, I can clearly feel the air when the heat or air is on from this vent. So in the end, I paid for 11 vents and only had 10 cleaned and am left unsure if there is an issue with this vent's connection to the heat and air. I've tried to call the number the serviceman left twice and received a ' voicemail is full' message. I'm not chasing this guy down, I just feel this could have been handled better.

On the date the service was scheduled 2 very professional men arrived right on time. they parked the van in the driveway and the only thing that was brought into the house was a very long hose. The van has a VERY large vacuum and everything that comes out of the vents (and there was alot) is sucked right into t he van. they were very courteous, very professional. they cleaned all of the vents and the returns and put a sanitizer in the heating system to kill any germs that might have been in the ducts. when they were done, they went under the house and inspected all the duct work. they found a small problem and told me about it and i had someone fix it. they did an excellent job and i would recommend them. this company was not the least expensive, there are alot of companies that are less expensive but what you get is a guy with a shop vac and they consider that cleaned out.

He was here for most of the day and did a very good job. I thought that his price was certainly reasonable. I have worked with some other people who cleaned ducts and his price was right in line with those. The fellow did an excellent job.

Billy arrived on time and went right to work. He was very careful to clean up and vacuum up any duct dust that was on the floor or windowsills. I am very happy with the job that was done.

Overall, very professional, thorough and reasonably priced. Gave clear instructions to us how to do preventative maintanence

The experience was good. They did not do the job complete. They missed a couple of ducts, but came back out and fixed it. I will not use them again in the future.

Billy arrived at 1:10, company said would be between 1:00 and 1:30, so they were right on time. He was very friendly and professional, work was completed in less than 2 hours. He vacuumed, cleaned and sanitized all ducts in my home. He vacuumed up any dirt that came through ducts, and was on his way. He was extremely nice and courteous.

This is one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. Everything has gone wrong, from the initial visit to phone calls to now they won't return my call. I've given them numerous times to rectify the situation, and they refuse. First visit- they replaced the bathroom ductwork. The request was for laundry room, and there are 2 bathrooms, so I'm not sure how they even had clarification on bathrooms, which one should they do? A quick call would have clarified that they were supposed to do the laundry room. Tenant came home that night and was unhappy, smell still made her eyes water. I received a call that day demanding payment. I said that we needed to have the work done before we would pay. This is less than 12 hours from the time they performed the incorrect work. I was hung up on. The owner called my husband and threatened to call the sheriff and have a lein put on our property. My husband said if that's what you need to do to run your business, to go ahead, but we would pay as soon as they replaced the duct that we asked them to. They came out to replace it, and we paid the same day with high pressure techniques without having an opportunity to check with our tenant. The smell remained. They came back and squirted skunk deoderizer into the ducts. We realized that they weren't up to the task, so we called another company. He assumed that they had done what they said they had, so he looked for less obvious trouble spots. He vaccuumed out the entire system, and there as a mound of cat hair, litter, even receipts. Seems they didn't clean it out so well. He coated the inside of the ducts, and cleaned the heating coil. He cleaned the gunk off the return. We had to call the second guy out because while it was better, it was still noticable. He rechecked the ductwork that they said they replaced, and found that there was a section covered by plywood, which lead to the vent in the floor of the laundry room. Bingo- they hadn't replaced it. It reeks of cat urine smell. He replaced it, and we have it in a bag, ready for whatever action we need to take against this shoddy company. If they hadn't been so lazy the first time, and actually replaced the full line, rather than going up to the easy part, and leaving the rest for someone else to deal with, our tenant would have had a much better first month, and we would have saved a lot of money. I will never, ever deal with this comopany again. The second guy said he would keep coming out until the problem was fixed. He was a man of his word. He didn't charge us any extra, even though he made 2 additional visits. We are very happy customers of his, and have recommended him numerous times. The awful customer service, the panic about getting their money, even while not at all concerned about whether or not they had done the job well, the threats, the shoddy workmanship (the man said it was his stepson who did the work- not him) made for a horrible experience, not to mention that our tenant had to live in very unpleasant circumstances while this company was not competant to do the work. I wish I had never called them, complete waste of $350. Useless.

I called Ductmaster's to clean our air ducts, which I suspect hadn't been done in years. I scheduled them around having a new heating and air system put in, so that the ducts would be clean when we turned on the new system. They came and cleaned our upstairs and downstairs ducts, from the air handler source to the vents and cleaned the intake vents. I also had them clean my dryer vent while they were there, which runs under the house and as it turned out was dangerously clogged up. They were professional, arrived on time, and did the work in less than three hours. I noticed the next day that they had missed an intake vent in my living room (which is easy to miss), and they returned to my house within an hour of me calling to finish it. I priced another provider of this service, and Ductmasters was hundreds of dollars less.

I had no real issues. Ductmasters did what they were supposed to do. They called in advance. They were polite. They indicated some other problems they felt we should have looked at. I thought Ductmasters was expensive, but they were cheaper then 3 other companies I contacted. They were here for 3 hours completing the service. I thought everyone I encountered from the company was friendly. I would recommend them.

They gave me some advice of things to watch out for. They seemed very knowledgeable. They communicate very well. I am very excited to do work with them.

The inspectors came on the same day I called and were great. Polite, clean, friendly, very fast.

The men were polite, quick, and cleaned up after themselves.

Daniel was very good. Knowledgeable and nice. The difference in air quality was amazing. In and out in about 2.5 hours and left the house very clean.

I thought the man who came was very professional. He seemed very eager to help me out and do the work. He did do a pretty good job on my electric wires. Everything works as far as I know. I think overall it was an above average experience.

THE COMPANY WAS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL. I HAD SEVERAL QUESTIONS AND THEY ANSWERED THE QUESTIONS THAT I HAD. THEY WERE RELIABLE AND ON TIME. THEY GOT THE AIR DUCTS VERY CLEAN.

I DON'T WAKE UP SNEEZING ANYMORE SO I THINK THEY DID A GREAT JOB. I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS SERVICE DONE BEFORE BUT I THINK I WILL HAVE THIS COMPANY OUT EACH YEAR. I NOTICED A DIFFERENCE IN THE QUALITY OF THE AIR RIGHT AWAY. THEY DID A GREAT JOB.

IT ONLY TOOK A LITTLE MORE THAN AN HOUR. THEY DID A GOOD JOB, AND THE PRICE WAS FAIR. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. WHEN EVER I HAD A QUESTION THEY TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN IT.

This was a very negative experience. The guy disconnected and moved my dryer causing a leak in the gas line. I had to have someone come and fix it. Duct Masters never reimbursed me for the additional expense incurred.
