Both jobs were done professionally, look great, and were completed on time. John and Chris were great to work with. They itemized what they would do and then accomplished their work with outstanding craftsmanship and determination. My wife and I were very satisfied. It couldn't have gone better. He handpicked premium deck boards, other contractors had quoted using #2 decking. He always informed us of the daily hours he was going to work, cleaned up every evening, and his work was better than I expected. When he finished he put up a pergola that I had purchased and had planned on doing myself. John is personable, as was his partner. They were very easy to work with. In the future I will use them without getting additional quotes. We got more than we asked for.

Excellent for both projects. Quality workmanship and fair pricing. For the indoor project extra care was taken to protect furniture and carpeting.

We would highly recommend this business and indeed have already done so for our neighbors and friends. The original front porch on our 39 year old home had begun to sag due to rot at ground level in several pillars. We wanted to make sure that this repair was done to code, and they were willing to go through the headache of pulling a building permit (which is not true of all contractors). Bringing the porch up to code would require a complete rebuild. John did a great job in talking with us through all the options, and we came up with a new design that was more attractive than our previous porch. While the construction was in progress, I inquired about ways in which we could delay/prevent future deterioration of the new pillars, and John came up with a way to seal the parts of the pillars that were below ground level. We conversed at the end of each day's work, and I had the opportunity to ask questions. They kept me informed about every step in process and what to expect the next day. They even managed to work in a small addition to the project - replacement of our mailbox post. Peak City was professional in every aspect. They produced written quotes as a PDF that were clear and detailed both the work and the payment schedule. They showed up when they said they would, and they finished on schedule. The work that John and Chris did exceeded our expectations. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail was evident and very much appreciated. As noted above, our neighbors, guests, and even those walking on the street past our house have paid us compliments.

Great. They came out as scheduled to look at what needed to be done, suggested some changes and promptly sent me a quote which I thought was very competitive with some of the other quotes I received. They stayed in touch about scheduling the work and completed within the time they estimated. The workmanship and attention to detail was far above work I had done by other contractors in the past. I highly recommend them.

John & Chris created a portico for our home in Cary. We couldn't be happier with our project. Not only did they do quality work, but it looks remarkable and adds so much more aesthetically to the home. In addition to their great work, these two were a pleasure to work with. They were prompt, showed up when they said they would and cleaned up each night prior to leaving. They were respectful and carried themselves in a professional manner at all times. In this day and time, it seems like its always a challenge to get people to show up or even call you back when you're trying to get a project done. We feel compelled to get the word out on the two fine gentleman. We urge you to give them a chance to do some work for you too. You won't be disappointed.

John communicated in the planning stage very well. John and Chris arrived on time, secured all materials needed, worked consistently throughout the day, organized and cleaned the worksite at the end of every day. Job was completed in the 4 day period as planned. They followed my drawings and plans for this complex two level with angled section adding enhancements as we consulted and agreed on every step. This resulted in a A+++ cedar pergola that will last a lifetime. It is beautiful and we are hoping to see this project on the Peak City Home Enhancement website soon. We will use them again for any interior or exterior improvements. Again, amazed with how polite and hardworking they are.

Everything went great ! John Crane (owner) arrived on time for our first meeting to go over what my wife and I wanted to have done, which was tear down the 30 year old deck and build a new one. We also wanted to extend the deck and design the layout a little differently. Ideas were bounced back and forth. John understood what we wanted and provided an overall estimate to us within a few days as promised. We needed the project to be completed in conjunction with a separate project (we also are having our house resided by another company). John was very accommodating to fit us in earlier than anticipated. When the deck project started, John and his associate, Chris, were punctual each morning, and worked longer than anticipated a few days to keep the job on schedule. During the entire process, we all collaborated on working out minor details. The project was completed on time (2 weeks) and on budget. From start to finish, John kept us informed on what would be done each day as well as the next day. My wife and I are extremely pleased with how things turned out! John and Chris are very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Our entire experience with Peak City Home Enhancements has been more than positive (A+ ! ) and we highly recommend them.. My wife and I have other smaller projects that we need to have done and will definitely reach out to John and Peak City Home Enhancements to complete them.

Everything went exactly as planned and in time. From the quote to installation of new materials we were extremely happy with the process and communication. They removed wood flooring, all plumbing fixtures, vanity and light in our 1/2 bathroom. Then installed a new tile floor, vanity, toilet, light and plumbing fixtures and shelving to complete the new bathroom. All on time and within budget. Excellent workmanship, professional and easy to work with. We will definitely use them again.
