Grand Openings Garage Door

Our garage door was 16 years old and in sad shape. It was originally installed with substandard materials and we tried to keep it togerther all of those years. Then the spring broke which allowed the door to fall and break in several places. There was no way to repair it this time. Called Grand Openings for appointment and Mike(owner) came out the same day. Assessed the situation and gave us a very reasonable price. Ordered a new door the same day, but it took a few days for delivery from the manufacturer. As soon as it was delivered, Mike was at our house installing it. He also replaced the railing system and springs and adjusted the door opener. Fabulous job. Couldn't be happier. Mike is very professional and we would recommend him to everyone.

Mike Called the same day and got the appointment scheduled quickly, he showed up on time we discussed the problems and past experiances. He performed all of the work purchased and also fixed other problems he found. He tuned up both garage doors, replaced the rollers and fixed the tracks. All working fine.

We were very impressed with the services provided by Grand Opening Garage Doors. We scheduled an appointment two days prior and Michael, the owner, arrived exactly when promised. He analyzed the problem promptly and informed us of the exact cost. He was pleasant to talk to and thorough and efficient throughout the repair. Before he left, Michael adjusted the track and also did extra work on a faulty opener and helped us set an existing keyless entry--all without additional charge. We will certainly use him again in the future if necessary and will recommend him to friends.

He did an excellent job of replacing two garage door openers with belt drive openers. They work great. He also did a special door tune up on both garage doors. I'm extremely pleased with every aspect of the job. I originally called because one opener had failed. It had a broken gear. He could have just replaced the gear, but we talked through the options and with the age of the openers it was worth replacing the opener. He gave me a good price for two openers and tune up. He returned the next day to complete the job. I couldn't have bought the same openers myself for the price of the complete installation.

In a word, Fantastic! Setting up the appointment was easy as was getting a time that was convenient to me. Tech arrived right at the promised time and did a through inspection before beginning the job. There was no effort to "upcharge" or sell additional services. Overall very impressed and would recommend this vendor to anyone. I will definitely contact this vendor for any garage door needs in the future.

I called Grand Openings Garage Door to have a broken garage door spring replaced. Michael was able to come out the same day to replace the broken spring. He was very friendly and didn't try to rush off too quickly to his next job; taking the time to ensure the door was properly aligned and answer the questions I had. In addition to replacing the spring, he spent time to ensure the door was level when closed, adjusted the automatic garage door opener and lubricated the hinges. Michael did not try to up-sell me on services that weren't part of his quote. I would highly recommend calling Grand Openings Garage Door if you need any type of service on your garage door.

The company was able to get me an appointment quickly and the owner was prompt and courtious. The new rollers on the garage are so much quieter than what the builder put in. He was also helpful with trying to get the garage keypad working again without an additional charge. Would recommend.

Mike showed up on time, and was quick to respond to my call. He told me that I could do nothing, and all would be fine. When I insisted that he do something (anything!) to make that garage door quieter, he immediately gave me the discounted price I had previously received, and went straight to work. As before, no payment was asked for before the work was done. After about 45 minutes, he had the door rolling up and down very smoothly, and with a lot less chatter than we had been hearing. Great job!

Mike contacted me via phone and was very easy to work with to setup an appointment. Mike was on-time with the initial tuning service of our garage door. Mike identified some issues with the garage door opener, it was really load and started making a clanking sound. Mike easily diagnosed the issue and provide us some options based on how long we planned to live there. We choose to get a new garage door opener that was very quiet for $200 installed. Mike scheduled the next call and arrived on-time again and installed the new opener. The new opener works great. We added that we wanted the external door controller, but Mike would have to order it. After about 2 weeks mike texted me that he had to order the controller from the manufacture and it would be another 2 weeks (he was proactive in contacting me). After about 2 weeks Mike texted me that the opener was in and he could come over and install it. I was not going to be around, so he just dropped it off and I installed it (no problem). Mike was going to charge me for the cost of the controller. Now I got to send him a check for it (I promise my check will be in the mail soon Mike :-) Mike is great and very knowledgeable about garage doors and openers, He and his father had a business for years. Good service and I trust him.

In a little more than an hour, Mike had removed the old hardware and replaced the old chain track with a new belt track, the electric eyes, the wall mounted control pad, and, of course, the motor assembly. Mike's attention to detail is outstanding. He was very careful to ensure that everything was level, properly tightened, and aligned. We were amazed at how quiet the belt driven unit was as compared to the chain drive. And the nylon rollers also make quite a lot less noise than the old metal rollers. Mike checked and double-checked to ensure he had completed everything to our satisfaction. He cleaned up the area so it looked like he was never there. Additionally, Mike carted our old unit away. My wife and I are extremely pleased with Grand Openings Garage Door and we can highly recommend Mike without reservation.

The installation went well. The installer arrived promptly and explained my options. I decided to have the garage door opener updated with a newer model. He enabled the garage door opener to be controlled from a button in my car enabling me to use the 1 standard garage door opener controller from a second vehicle.

Mike guarantees his work and even came back to help me reset the keypad code and to provide a second garage door remote. I would recommend Grand Openings to anyone who needs garage door repair work.

Mike did an excellent job of repairing and tuning up my garage door. It is a single 18' door and is very heavy. He installed the new spring, replace the bearings and aligned the track. Now the door is very quiet and glides like it is on ice. I was expecting to pay close to $400, but Mike's total came out to $320. Very reasonable for quality work. I can tell from talking to Mike that he really cares about his work and wants to make everything perfect. He is all about customer satisfaction and service.

He lubricated entire mechanism and he also aligned tracks and door so that it closed smoothly and sealed correctly. The people that installed the door eight years ago said that it could not seal tight because the floor was uneven. He fixed it and he did the extra work at no additional charge. He provided an estimate and the price was the estimate. He kept his schedule. He did excellent work. The estimate called for one remote, he gave me a second one at no additional charge.

The owner came out.....was very polite & professional. Talked about all options...gave us a good deal. Installed quickly. Would use again.
