I told him that had happened before. He said this type of heater is notorious for that alarm going off and he could just disconnect the sensor so it wouldn't happen again. He could have easily told me it was something expensive that needed to be fixed. I really appreciated his honesty. All he charged me was the $49 diagnostic fee.

Extremely well. Josh was the foreman for this job and not only they were quite respectful to our house and our needs, they were also as clean as a crew can be. I could not be more pleased with their work ethics, quality of work, and pricing.

They removed the old boiler and valves, installed new boiler, hot water tank zone valves and local piping and repaired a leak in a fintube connection, connected gas piping, tested and fine tuned the system, cleaned up, and checked again a week later to see that all was right.

They were very prompt. The service was very good. The price was reasonable. I would use them again in the future.

Air quality installed the original equipment about 4 years ago. They have done a yearly maintenance on the equipment. They are easy to work with, easy to schedule and the system has run like a top from day one.

Good job. Technician was friendly and professional -- seemed knowledgeable. The customer service person who helped me set up the appointment was great, and they brought to our attention a local energy company rebate program that we were eligible for -- gave us all of the necessary paperwork needed at the time of the servicing and made it easy to complete -- we qualified for a $75 incentive rebate.

We had a great service call with Josh and Air Quality Mechanical. I know that they have already saved us money. They have wonderful office staff as well who gave us a reminder call as to when they would be there and who was coming so that we could recognize the technician. Very professional all the way through the whole company.

Air Quality installed the fireplace gas insert in our home as new construction. The fire place never worked properly and every year for 5 years Air Quality attempted to fix the problem. We were told multiple times that the problem was fixed only to have the same problem re-ocurr within a few months. In 2012 we contacted Temp Right and asked them to come out and provide us with a diagnosis. They did, which was different than AQs diagnosis. The fireplace has now worked well for 2 months without any issue. I feel that Air Quality did minimalistic work in an attempt to sustain an annual revenue stream from us. I will never recommend Air Quality to anyone. Temp Right is much better at handling repair issues.

Although we'd never hired Air Quality Mechanical before, we took advantage of a coupon to get a discounted annual maintenance of our old monster of a furnace. I'd guess it was built in a ex-tank factory in the late 1940's. It was originally oil-fired and then converted to gas. It has always been temperamental. Air Quality Mechanical sent Josh to work on it and he did a wonderful job. He ended up spending over 2 hours on what would have been a 45 minute job on a modern furnace. He eventually had to build a sheet metal baffle to solve a downdraft problem and he did it at no extra charge. We've used other firms over the decade we've lived with this furnace and we've never had such good service.

Contacted by phone to check out furnace in a rental property I own in Missoula. He got in touch with the tenants promptly. Called me back to authorize work, as it was going to be more than our pre-set ceiling. Work done promptly. Problem solved. Completely professional.

Air Quality Mechanical serviced our furnace for us when we first moved into our house, and when we nearly won a "oldest furnace in town" contest we decided it was time to upgrade. We got quotes from about five different outfits and AQM beat them all in price and warranty. We researched their brand of furnace (EverRest) and my husband was initially concerned due to a low Consumer Reports rating a few years ago but the salesperson Mark was very informed and able to convince us that things had changed quite a bit since then. The install went fine, except when we came home our front door was left unlocked although I had left a key with the installer. We were also promised a walkthrough of the new system which never happened. We also didn't get an invoice until over three weeks had passed, when the salesperson called to ask why we hadn't paid. In that invoice there was supposed to be a form for getting a rebate from our gas company but there was not. These are pretty minor concerns, especially since their price was at least $1000 less than the nearest competitor, but did put a bit of a bad face on an otherwise good situation.

The company from start to finish was a pleasure to work with. We got a fast estimate the same day (we had a 10 day old infant and it was very cold at the time our furnace quit). They returned calls quickly, provided us with a detailed explanation of why they recommended a certain furnace (which was actually less expensive than the furnace we had originally planned on getting!) They provided us with free space heaters to use while we waited for the new furnace, and they gave us priority given our new baby. Very professional, prompt, made sure they let us know about all tax benefits and energy company rebates with the furnace we bought, thoroughly went over pros and cons of different furnace models. I would recommend them to anyone and would use them again in a heartbeat (although hopefully will never have to!)
