We paid them part of the money up front to get them started on it. They got temporary power hooked up, installed a panel, started pulling the wire (less than one room completed). Then they got the rest of the money owed for the complete job and never came back. At first they gave a lot of ridiculous excuses and eventually just stopped answering my phone call. I contacted the owner of the company to inform him of what his employees had done and ask him to get the job finished. He told me he'd rather take his chances in court than to be bothered with getting the job finished. On top of everything else, several hundred dollars worth of electrical wire I had bought for another project came up missing and his employees were the only ones, other than myself, who had access to the premises. I am now in the process of having to sue him, which I hate to do.
Description of Work: The job to be done was to completely rewire a house, bring it up to code, have it inspected and approved by the power company. This is an historical home that I am slowly (as finances allow) bringing back from Hurricane Katrina damage.
