I requested a price quote from the Home Dept web site. They assigned the sales rep from there. Mike Bryan came out to the house pretty quickly one day while I was at work and left a price quote on 12/5/12. He had the lowest quote from the three that I had received, so when I had saved the money for the job, I called and left a message for Mr. Bryan that I was interested in getting the work done. I left the first message on 2/14/13, and the second on 2/18/13. He finally called me back and I thought that we had scheduled the work to begin on 2/25/13. On 2/22/13, I called and left a message that we needed to change the work date because of heavy rain forcasted for 2/25. No response. I left another message on 2/25, and then sent an email. No response. I resent the email on 2/26. I never did receive a response from Mike Bryan. The guys showed up on Wednesday 2/27/13 while I was at work to take down the old fence and put in the posts. I was not happy that they started the work when I was not there. They came back Thursday to finish the fence and put up the gate. The guys that showed up for the work were nice and they did what I asked them to do when I asked them to cut the bottom of the gate a bit high due to the uneven ground around the gate, so that the gate would open all the way. However, they did leave a bigger gap between the two gate doors than I liked. There is about an inch gap between the two gate doors. I saw that they were about to drive off and I ran out to try to give them the check for the work. They said that Mike would come by to get the money. I did not hear from Mr. Bryan, so on 3/6/13 (Wednesday, in the morning) I emailed to find out when he would be coming by to get the check. Mr. Bryan emailed (after I had left for work) asking if anyone would be home that afternoon. I emailed that night and let him know when I would be home later in the week. It was Friday when another man...Mark Kelley came to get me to sign some paperwork about the work that was done. I asked if I could give him the check, and I did. I told him about the excessive gap in the gate and he said that the only way to fix it was to attach a board on the back side of one of the gate doors to block the view through the gate. I told him that I would call him back and let him know what we decided to do. My husband said that he did not want to have the board on the back of the gate and that we would just live with the 1 inch gap in between the gate doors. I called Mark back and left a message that we did not need any further services. Mr. Kelley called back in a couple of hours to make sure that we were ok with the gate like it was, and that we did not want them to come out and do anything else to the gate.
Description of Work: The Home Depot folks called the utility company and got them to mark the yard where the lines were run so that they could dig to put in the fence posts. They took down a small area of wooden fencing...about 18 feet and disposed of the old wood (the gate was already gone from this area). They rebuilt the 18 feet of fencing and made a double gate in the fence. I would probably use Home Depot again, but I would not be happy if they assigned Mike Bryan as my sales rep. He would not return my calls or emails.

They were great. They did a really good job. They did what they said they were going to do when they said they would do it. The guy was great. I could not have asked for Home Depot to be any more professional than they were.
Description of Work: They installed a fence for me. I called them and the next day they were at my house with a quote; within a week I had my fence up.
