Very professional from first phone conversation to finish. Advised Duffs that room was already prepped and trim painted so room was ready to go-professional (Mike) courteous gentlemen showed up- went right to work and got the job done quickly and professionally. I am a happy customer-and I'm happy with Angies list too!

I called three painters to give a bid for my guest bathroom and Mike was the only one that responded in a timely fashion. He gave me a quick, reasonable estimate and performed the work the very next week (in time for Christmas). He also finished ahead of schedule which was very helpful to us during the busy holiday season. We were very pleased with the quality of his work and would recommend him highly.

We were very worried about lead dust flying due to the fact that our house is 100 years old and we have children. During our initial phone conversation, Mike carefully listened and then told me exactly how he was going to deal with it. First day he carefully covered all the areas and taped everything. He then carefully used the heat gun to remove the old paint - a very tedious process that most painters that I called said they don't do. He was also very careful about cleaning and vacuuming while he worked which we appreciated. The finished work as promised and it turned out great. Truly better than what we were expecting with our old house. We also asked him to paint the inside of the door which wasn't part of the original deal, he charged a bit extra but to be honest, I thought it was fair and would have not been surprised if it was much more. All in all I don't think we could have asked for a better painter - fair, honest, careful with great workmanship.

Mike Duff is an exceptional painter and person. His attention to detail and willingness to go that "extra mile" made it a pleasure to have him around. He was always punctual and professional. When the project began and he was removing the storm windows (which hadn't been washed in forever) I began to panic because my grandchildren were coming in one week for a visit. Mike made sure everything was ready to be put back in time for their arrival. As we were heading out for a day river floating my grandson noticed it was "dripping" from the ceiling in the kitchen (always a bad sign). We were so confident in Mike that we left him in charge for the plumber's visit knowing he would treat our house as if it were his own. I was sorry to have the project end but we are on his schedule for some interior ceiling repair and painting. I would definitely recommend Mike over any other painter!

Duff painting provided meticulous,high quality cleaning and staining of our decks. The company was on time and respectful of all the owners property. When staining the deck he was careful to stain one board at a time so there was no over lap of stain which would have created dark areas.

As described above, Duff Painting completed the outside wood painting on my three story house (built in 1914). He meticulously avoided painting any windows - shut! (as a former painter did!) Preparation and clean-up was exemplary - with no paint drips anywhere.
