Kennedy Painting

Went very well. No complaints. Bid was given in a timely manner, focusing on our needs and the work that we wanted to have done. We had some slight delays on our end as some additional work needed to be completed by another contractor before Kennedy to complete their work. Once that was taken care of Sean got us on the schedule quickly, their staff Eric/Edwardo showed up on time, were very friendly, professional, and efficient. The work was completed as indicated w/in 2 days.

They were prompt and on time. The owner gave me a very detailed breakdown of the work and what he was going to do. They showed up on time everyday and they left the place in a reasonable shape. There was a little bit of dust here and there, but they got most of it out so I can't complain. They also supplied the paint. I would definitely use them again.

Kennedy painting completed the work in a couple of days. Sean Kennedy is very professional. He clearly communicated the scope of the work in his contract and clearly estimated the additional cost of a couple of extra tasks that we requested between contract signing and the work being performed. He communicated before beginning the work and kept us informed when rainy weather delayed completion of the painting for a day or two. His staff were very professional and courteous.

After having wallpaper removed from the kitchen, the walls needed some patching and priming before they were painted. I have always done all the interior painting myself and I am very particular and picky about neatness. Kennedy Painting did a superior job in two working days as was estimated by Sean Kennedy. He answered all calls and emails promptly and the job was finished on time. We are very pleased with the results.

It was a pleasure to work with Sean Kennedy and his employees. Sean showed up on time to look at the job. He walked around the house with me, explained what they would do about cleaning, caulking and painting. His bid was submitted promptly and in a professional format; this price was right in line with 2 other companies and less than half from another company. I chose Kennedy because Sean had made such a great first impression. Sean called often to update me on the schedule, letting us know how the weather was affecting the timing and telling us where our job was on their list. Sean let us know a firm start date, his employees showed up on time that day. Everyone from the company was polite and hard-working. The job site was cleaned up in the evening. The job was finished on Friday, and we were told we would be called on Monday to see if we had any questions, concerns, or requests. I thought this was wonderful to give us time to thoroughly examine the job. My husband was very impressed because he looked under our back bay window which is close to the ground. This was something he would have missed, but that surface had been caulked and painted. It was a pleasure to work with this company. I wish all my experiences with home maintenance companies could be this good.

I called Kennedy for an estimate for painting an area over my stairwell with high ceilings. Sean came to look over the area, and suggested some materials we could buy to get the job done ourselves. We really appreciated his help and his honesty! If I had to hire a painter for a different job, I will definitely call them again.

First, the owner came out inspected that rooms that needed work. He submitted a detailed written bid. Then we discussed and agreed on a start date. One day before work was scheduled to begin, the forman came out to review the job and pick up a deposit. The next morning the men arrived on time. They covered furniture and moved item to other areas. That evening they cleaned up and left the work area neat. They followed this process throughout the project. We did a final walk though and I was pleased with every aspect of the work. The owner called the next day to check in. I had one minor issue and he sent a workman out to correct it. This company did an outstanding job. Professional and efficient workmen who completed the work on time.

It is a group of younger guys. Shawn came out to give me an estimate. When he came out he brought a board with paint samples on it, so that I could see exactly what it was going to look like. He was very thorough and detailed when he went over everything with me during the estimate. The team of gentlemen who came out were nice fellows. They were very neat while they were out and did the job quickly. They did a very nice job. I have been pleased with their work.

I had a very good experience with this company and plan to use them again. Sean (the owner) is very responsive, professional and personable. He was very accommodating about some things that needed to be changed mid-job.

Sean Kennedy came to view the house and had a detailed conversation regarding what was needed in each room; he provided a detailed written estimate within a day or two. While I was selecting colors, he provided multiple color boards. Once we were ready to go, we scheduled the work right away. Sean and I spoke frequently in advance of the work. He told me the names of the crew members and I received business cards and phone numbers on the first day. On the first morning, I asked the job supervisor about adding additional work; I received an estimate on the spot. I was introduced to every person working on the house and received regular communications from the crew chief. Everyone was responsive, helpful, and polite; furthermore, these guys are highly skilled. I knew at the end of each day what progress had been made and what the next day's work would be, which was done in a logical manner so that patches had time to dry before a room was painted. They moved furniture and replaced as rooms were completed. They worked at containing the dust and cleaning up at the end of each day. The quality of the work is amazing. The crew was here when they said they would be. I am very impressed.

Sean is very professional and very easy to work with. He came to provide an estimate within a day of my initial phone call. He had good suggestions on colors and provided color samples. He was very accomodating and dropped off additonal color boards when I had trouble deciding on what I wanted. After the kitchen was painted I decided I wanted a different color and he repainted at a ver yreasonable price. Workers were courteous and showed up when they said they would. They cleaned up every day and cleaned what little paint spots there were on floors, etc.

The best experience I've had yet w/ service companies during the remodel of my house. Sean is incredibly straight forward and helpful and his team does a fantastic job. I had a ridiculous request because we were heading out of town and he was able to start the job THE NEXT DAY after the call! Crazy. Sean runs a great organization and each of his employees are solid representatives of his company. Top notch stuff.

The overall experience was wonderful. I needed someone there to meet me before work at 7:00a.m. in the morning, they did that. I had some picture frame moldings I wanted removed, they did that. 2 ceilings repaired and painted as well as fixing all cracks and imperfections!

He provided a very detailed bid. He was very personable and responsible. I went with another company only because of a good discount, but will call Kenneday again.

The main guy was very communicative the whole time. He gave me and talked through a work order. I knew exactly what was going to be done before it was started. He and his guys were very professional and punctual. They were great!

They were very professional and efficient and the work was done very quickly. They did a beautiful job. We had set up a schedule for them to come and they were able to adjust. They cleaned up after themselves.

Quality of the work was exceptional. Attention to detail was superb. Foreman and work crew were very professional and polite. Work site was well maintained and clean up each evening before departing. Sean Kennedy was very helpful in selecting colors and setting the schedule.

They stand by their work and their price. Their work is guaranteed. When I did have a problem once, they came right away to repair it. They are pleasant to work with and their price is reasonable.

Kevin gave us a very detailed estimate, discussed product options, colors and was very thorough. The crew worked very cleanly and their work was fantastic. At one point they discovered a problem and contacted us to discuss before continuing work. We ended up paying about 50 bucks more for another coat of special primer, which was well worth it. It was a pleasure to support this neighbor and fantastic company.

It was a great experience. We have a three color scheme, and they took the time to lay out four different color options where the most intricate trim was to see which one looked the best. We did not compare prices but they seemed very fair. We were extremely happy with their work.

Excellent. Sean came out right away and provided an estimate. The work started on time as scheduled and went smoothly. Before sending the invoice for payment, he called first to make certain that I was satisfied with the work. That is the conduct of a good contractor.

They did a remarkable job. They were prompt and professional. They were very good about communicating what the charges would be and they were delightful to work with every step of the way.

Sean Kennedy returned my initial call promptly and arranged for a visit to provide an estimate within only a few days. The estimate was very complete. However, it took 10 days to get the estimate following the visit. We chose a different company to do the painting based on price and concern over the estimate delay. I was afraid we might by faced with unexpected delays in scheduling the job and completing it.

We have used this company before and love them. Sean Kennedy is very thorough and professional. He communicates frequently about what is going on. He is a perfectionist, drove by and noticed a minor imperfection on a downspout (we hadn't even noticed) and said he would send someone back to fix it when it was convenient for us. They were patient with me changing my mind on color choices and were as fair as possible on charging us for those changes. He gave us different options which allowed us to choose price and understand what the differences were in the cost.
