Kennedy Painting

When it came time to meet with Sean Kennedy, he was very prompt for our appointment and understood what I wanted done. In fact, the appointment came on a very hectic day for me so I had to explain very quickly to Sean what I wanted done and then I had to leave while he surveyed the house/garage. Received the estimate a few days later and signed it right away (in April). I had informed Sean that there was no rush on this job. The power washing did not go well....in fact, had my neighbor not informed me that someone was at the house, I would have sworn the power washing never took place. I realize that the siding had not been cleaned for many, many years, but I did expect to see some improvement. Now I had to rethink what else I could do regarding the siding. Made an appointment with Scott to come out and look, but he did not show up for appointment. Made another appointment and Scott and I discussed what could be done to the siding to make it look new again since the power washing failed. Scott called me right away with the additional quote and we proceeded on with the job. Although there were some bumps along the way, the painters were always prompt and in fact, felt bad for them that they were on a roof painting siding in 100+ degree weather. If I had one complaint about the painters, it would be when they cleaned their brushes, I ended up with areas of white paint on various parts of the back and front lawn. Overall, the finished product looks fabulous. The garage looks great, the back trim on the house looks great and the siding on the house looks brand new. Scott followed up with a phone call after the job was complete and I told him how happy I was with the final product.

We anticipated putting our home on the market to sell and wanted a few items cared for before doing so. Sean Kennedy came out to provide a bid for the work requested as well as quickly agreed to redo an area where a crack had redeveloped from previous work at no additional charge. We were pleased with the bid and asked Sean to add an addendum to that bid for power washing the outside of our home. Sean reviewed the scope of work on 7/12/11 and the work was completed on 7/28/11. We were pleased with the bid and pleasantly surprised the work was completed so quickly. Jeremy, Gary and Chris were on time and did a great job! Chris, in particular, worked in 100 degree weather in our garage and, despite the heat, he did terrific work! We are most pleased with Kennedy Painting and continue to sing their praises to family, friends and neighbors!

They were excellent. They power washed before they painted. They kept us well informed of what they were doing. They were always on time. They were super polite. Sean who owns the company gave us a really nice bid. He was very professional and a very nice man. Craig, the crew leader, was a sweet man. The whole team was very trustworthy. I would use them again in the future.

All of the projects they have completed at my house have gone well. They are very prompt with scheduling a review and bid and they always arrive on time on the scheduled day. Most recently, they came to do normal spot-checking and maintenance on both the interior and exterior paint, new paint work in the basement and power washing and staining my fences and gates. Everything looks even better than what I expected and I'm already thinking of new colors for some of the rooms.

Requested an estimate for interior painting of door and window trim. The paint was in poor shape, peeling and cracking. Mr. Kennedy noted he did not think it was worth the cost to strip and repaint these areas and suggested replacing the trim. I appreciated his willingness to give me alternatives.

All went well. Excellent job!

Sean came to the house and gave us a very competitive bid. He was very professional. His service included an hour with a paint specialist which we found very helpful. The crew led by Scott and Matt arrived on time everyday of the job. They were friendly, professional and did a great job. We liked that they gave us the opportunity to 'live' with the job for a couple of days and then checked back to see if they had missed anything. Overall exacellent and I would recommend them without hesitation.

What could have been a disaster was saved by the integrity of the company's owner. Others mention great care and neatness, but that was NOT our initial experience. It took four, 8 hour, days to clean up what should have been a one day job. The crew assigned to our project did not cover air intakes, nor did they block off doorways or other areas, so plaster dust went everywhere. The project was begun in Winter, and the furnace was on, so it carried the mess throughout the house, on blinds, furniture, even dishes on the kitchen hutch cabinet. NOW for the good news....because the job had to stop for some additional wall repairs in the next phase, we had time to discuss our concerns with Sean Kennedy, the owner. Sean immediately responded and asked to make things right. He offered to complete the next phase at his own expense! We were so pleased at his response, but it would have meant nothing if we had the same problems. We did not! We were more educated about what to expect, that made a difference, but the workman Sean assigned to this phase made a fine effort to take care that the work area was blocked off and left relatively small issues to be cleaned up. The ethical and honest resolution of the problem means as much to us as the fine workmanship we finally received. It's fairly easy to praise a job with no problems, but we are happy to praise this company for its response to a difficult project.

Great! We were so pleased when we met with Sean; he was so detail oriented. He gave me the proposal very quickly and was able to schedule the work for the following week. It only took his workers two days to complete our job. I was also impressed with how tidy they were while in the middle of completing our job; they also cleaned up well before they left! We were so pleased with this company and we have recommended them to our family members and friends!

We had a very large interior painting job. After receiving multiple bids, Kennedy Painting, while the most expensive, was the contractor we choose because of (1) the professional approach, (2) their very detailed and clear bid process and (3) competitive offer when compairing what we would get for the money. It took a bit of time getting all the details locked in and getting on the schedule, but this was mainly due to the fact that we were trying to get all painting done during the summer, when they were primarily busy with exterior paint jobs. Once we did get on the schedule, all service was very prompt. The extreme professionalism used by all the employees that entered our house was very impressive. They were very responsive, checked with us on any issues, however small, and were very clean in their work. The impact on our everyday life was reasonably significant due to the extent of the job, but the employees would clean up after themselves every night before leaving, so we experienced as little of a burden as possible. Overall, we were very please with the color selections, the quality of the job, and the professionalism of the contractor.

Ric was the crew manager. He performed above and beyond what was required. The crew was at our door at 8am sharp, never late. They did preparation for the day on that day, clean up every afternoon before they left, leaving at 4:30. Never a mess left behind. Finished job looks fantastic. I highly recommend Kennedy Painting.

The job went quite well. The initial response from Kennedy was excellent. The work performed was very professional. Due to weather conditions, I still have outstanding exterior re-painting due as the rust was not suppressed from painting the lentils. I have been assured that I will receive the final work once the weather is clearer to ensure proper adhesion of the products.

I did not use their services, but they were very professional and they gave me a written estimate. I thought that it was just a little more expensive, but I think the quality of work and the paint that I asked them to use was much higher. It was just a higher end quote.

Kennedy Painting did a great job! Since we decided to repaint most of our rooms, we chose to utilize the color consultant to assist in selecting the colors of our rooms. Tanya was great to work with and very helpful! Owner Sean Kennedy and his crew (Scott, Matt and Casey) were professional, polite and respectful of our home. They were quick to offer any assistance and willing to make any changes if we felt they were needed. The repairs were done with care and the painting made a positive difference in the appearance of our home. Not only did they do an awesome job, the customer service aspect of Kennedy Painting is a refreshing change from the mediocre service many of us have become accustomed to receiving from other companies. We will definitely use their services again and have been singing their praises to family and friends since the work was completed!

Very detailed estimate that included explanations of the repair work to be done, and the various options for different types of paint. Sean Kennedy was very professional throughout the entire process.

Sean and his crew did the job right. I can finally stand to spend time in my kitchen and bathroom. I sigh with relief because the rooms were professionally painted this time around. Kennedy Painting "takes care of you". From the color expert to the crew who do the job, they listen to you and answer all of your questions. They arrive when they say they will, and you don't have to wonder when the job will be finished. They get an A+ from me for the work they did and the customer service they provided. It's unfortunate that I didn't use Kennedy Painting from the beginning on my house, but the good news is -- I found an excellent painter who I can use over and over again for all of my future painting projects. As soon as I save more money for home repairs, I will be calling Sean back to re-paint the rest of the house. It's a relief to know that, at least where painters are concerned, I'll never have to search for another company. Kennedy Painting is IT!

They did a very good job. There were some patches in the laundry room, which they plastered and re-painted the same. They were very polite and friendly. They finished the work fast and did a great job. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

Kennedy Painting was very quick to quote and worked with me to get the price where I needed it to be. Team did all of the work on time. After the winter, Sean came back and fixed any issues in a few areas with no questions asked. they stand behind their work. Great experience.

Was looking to have the work done quickly. Receptionist promised a call back within 24 hours from a manager, which I received. Was quick to give estimate and perform work. Person who did the painting was very professional. Even returned when he remembered he forgot a small detail.

Everyone was responsible, diligent and friendly despite working in the extremely hot dog days of summer. The house has never looked better. We definitely would recommend Kennedy Painting.
