Received a phone call from their contact person to set up a meeting. Once I gave her my address she informed me that they do not provide a service to that area.

We have used Kennedy Painting since 2007. They are the best. Always do a wonderful job. Considerate. Professional . Kind to our animals.

They are very efficient and punctual. They also did drywall work in the garage and painted it. I think they do very quality work.

They were fine and did a very good job. They gave us a good rate and they came out and did the work when they said they were going to do it. They were reliable and did the whole job as they were supposed to do.

They did a thorough and professional job over the course of several days. Plastic was hung up to keep the dust to a minimum in other rooms, and they cleaned up after themselves well too. We were able to ask questions and to add a couple more minor projects (e.g. priming the walls for us, and skimcoating an additional small area). I am very satisfied and the house looks lovely.

I would definitely use Kennedy Painting again. Sean is wonderful to work with, they showed up when scheduled, and had all the work done in less than a week. The crew leaders and painters were very nice, courteous and polite. They cleaned up totally every night, which was wonderful. I was also very impressed with their attention to detail. No messy lines, everything is very nice. They also took care of any little issues I saw, repainted areas that weren't acceptable with no issues at all.

We took advantage of their "winter coat" sale (10% off total price) and scheduled the work for sometime in January. We took advantage of the free one-hour consultation service in helping us choose our color and overall, the work went very well. We had a number of small drywall repairs and a couple of ceiling issues came up in the course of the work. But between the responsiveness of the painters and Sean Kennedy himself, they found good solutions at little extra cost. The job took four & one-half days and the painters were prompt, courteous and very interactive regarding what they would do each day, reporting what they had done each day and advising us of any issues they were having that might cause extra time (and money) as a result. There was a little more clean-up than we originally anticipated, but that was due to the repair work and extra dust created after much of the plastic sheeting had been taken down and removed. Overall, my wife and I are very pleased and we would recommend Kennedy's to our friends and we would use them again.

I received an estimate for the work. Before I made a final decision, an interior consultant visited to help in the selection of colors. When I decided to use Kennedy Painting's services, a field supervisor (Jeremy) visited to review the project and check on any specific issues. The painting took place as scheduled, despite a last-minute change in the painting crew because of an emergency and bitterly cold and snowy weather. Those conditions did not keep the crew from finishing in two days, as promised. The painting crew (Shannon, Jordan, Tiffany) was SO polite and respectful, as well as attentive to any questions and requests made along the way. They worked very quietly, inobtrusively and efficiently. The best part is how neat and clean they left the house at the end of the work day. When they were completly finished, furniture was put back in order, and all I had to do was hang things back on the walls. Their work is flawless. It's apparent that the painters take great pride in their work and checked and double-checked to make sure it was all done perfectly. They did not leave until a final inspection took place, and all was declared satisfactory. I have used Kennedy Painting once before and was quite pleased with their work, which is part of the reason I chose them again. They are truly a professional company that gets the job done to the customer's satisfaction. It is not surprising that they have received the Service Award from Angie's List. I would definitely call them for my next project and refer them to anyone who wants a job well done.

This company impressed me from the moment that I dealt with them. Since I am color blind, selecting paint colors is difficult for me. I knew the direction that I wanted to take my house, but had no idea of how to achieve the desired end goal. Amy Akers arrived to provide me with an estimate. She was personable and very reassuring that she could help me achieve my goals. She came back to my home and selected my paint colors. I put my trust in her and it has paid off. My crew leader met with me prior to the start of my project. He carefully outlined the procedures that I could expect from his team, regarding start time, level of communication, and his desire to satisfy my needs. What really impressed me about my crew leader was when he handed me a report card stating that if any time I could not rate them an A, he personally wanted to know about it and he would immediately address the issue. This company is a repeated Angie's List Super Service Award Winner because they are 100% focused on satisying the needs of their customers. As the project progressed, we were dealt with a major issue that none of us had predicted. The St. Louis area would be hit with a major snow storm. The Sunday before, I called the crew leader and informed him that if he wanted to call off because of the weather that I would understand. In spite of temperatures of -6degrees and 11 inches of snow, the crew arrived and on time. Wow! Not only were they at work, when I expressed my pleasure of their being at my home, everyone of them expressed how appreciative they were of the work. Other contractors which I hired called off because of the weather. Throughout the project, my carpenter, a man who was once a painter himself, stated to me how impressed he was with regards to the quality of work my painters were doing. There are simply not enough good words to express my pleasure of the work provided by Amy Akers, Crew leaders Chris and Rick, and painters Steve, Jordan and Tiffany. I would definetly recomend Kennedy Painting to everyone I know. I will actually miss working with this company. I feel that I need to find another project for them to work on.

Everything went well and according to schedule. All items noted in final inspection were corrected to our satisfaction. The job was completed in 4 days by 3-4 painters. We would definitely recommend Kennedy Painting and would use them again for any additional painting needed.

This project went really well, and I would recommend Kennedy and use them again. Specifically: 1. I was really happy with the results, they were very thorough and everything looks great. I saw them doing a lot of work scraping the trim outside, etc, to make it look nice. They did a nice job finding/removing/filling some wood rot on some of our windows. 2. The company was super professional from start to finish. For example, I had other work going on in the house, and due to my own scheduling difficulties I ended up with some conflicts. Kennedy bore the brunt of those conflicts and worked around the other contractors gracefully and professionally. I was really grateful for their flexibility and professionalism. This was true not only for the painters on-site, but also for the administrator who scheduled the start of the painting and the power washing as well. 3. When the estimator first came out, we saw some windows which might have been wood, or might have been metal clad. She said we could add them in, then pull them out later if necessary. After sending in the deposit, I became a little worried that it would be hard to get them to take them out. But, it was no problem at all, the crew leader came around before the job started, did a thorough inspection/walk though, found the windows were metal clad and didn't need to be painted, and removed them from the contract. Overall, Kennedy was professional and produced excellent results. I would definitely use them again.

I worked closely with owner, Sean Kennedy. He was very professional and I did like how he approached the bid. They cleaned up well after each job. Everything turned out fine!

The job went smoothly, and both the scraping-washing drew and the painter worked hard and effectively. The only glitch was that one of our wooden screens was dropped and broken. Kennedy Painting arranged for their carpenter to build a new one, which looked and fit just like the original. All-in-all an excellent job at a reasonable price.

Kennedy Painting did a GREAT job from start to finish. We contracted with them well in advance of our closing date hoping to have the interior painted before we moved our furniture in. Our closing date was a moving target but Kennedy worked with me to schedule the job start. When we finally had our closing date, they were able to start immediately. Our color consultation with Amy selected a wide range of interior colors that blended nicely throughout the house. Amy offered opinions on colors - she just did not ask "what do you want?". We always appreciate the respect people have for our home when they arrive to work - THEY ALWAYS PUT ON BOOTIES. Might be a small thing to some but this is very important to us (especially given our home is almost all wood floors). Chris' team of four painters took the first half day covering our floors and fixtures with paper and plastic. They cared about our home. Through the five days of painting team leader Chris kept me informed of their progress and next day plans. He pointed out areas that required attention. The team was very flexible to additional work - we added a few exterior doors and our two car garage door. The quality of paint was first rate. Again, we were very pleased with the results.

The owner is very responsive and committed to customer satisfaction. I had several add-ons to the contract and unexpected carpentry repairs. All of the onsite painters were polite, hardworking, and professional.

They wrote a detailed estimate and performance of work statement. The estimate was competitive with other bids I received and though they were a couple of hundred higher than their nearest competitor I considered, the detailed nature of their estimate and work statement persuaded me to hire them. The job was extensive but well planned and the work crews were large enough to do the work in a timely manner. The work planning was good and there was no time lost doing the work. The job proceeded from one stage to another without a hitch. There weren't any lags or downtime. It took about a week of work. The craftsmen were all about the work, they were courteous and hardworking. Very professional operation from start to finish. They did a fine job and the place looks great. I would recommend their work and hire them for further work.

Initial two days of painting and work went well. Team was on time and seemed to work throughout the day. We had to rent a large boom lift to reach the top of the home to paint the dormers and they worked hard while they had it to limit the amount of time we had to rent it at $450 per day. Old wood windows were swelled shut due to heat and humidity so team had to take off screens from outside to paint window interior. Instead of just taking out the screens, they took off (and broke) the tracks the screens were sitting in. The original work was completed late May and on Monday, July 22, 2013 (two months later) they finally returned to complete the job and replace the tracks and screens. This was the second attempt at replacing the screens, Chris came out the Friday prior only to install the wrong screens on the wrong windows - bottom first floor windows are quite a bit bigger than second floor windows, but he didn't notice the four inch gap on the bottom windows or that the second floor screens came four inches over the center of the second floor windows. Looked terrible. Since the original scope of work completion, we noticed several things that we did not notice at first. There were unpainted gaps in the framing, there were gaps between the window and the frame that Kennedy told us they would caulk and fix (they did not). Noticed small amounts of paint on the windows themselves, and small amounts of paint where it didn't belong (we have two different colors on our windows). Work on the side of the house to reframe a window that was completely rotted out was perfect. Kelly took off old rotted wood and built new frame using a composite material that looks and feels like wood. He cut it perfectly, backfilled the gaps with caulk and painted it. Looks great.

After taking some notes, Amy told us she would type something up and e-mail it to us. Our e-mail address was correct in their system, we had received appointment confirmation that way. No further communication (verbal, written, electronic) was received. We consider this unprofessional.

We are preparing to put our home on the market and needed a fresh coat of paint on our exterior doors. Based on other Angie's List reviews we contacted Kennedy Painting. We emailed pictures of the front and back doors. Sean Kennedy was able to quote from the pictures. He cautioned us that his schedule was extremely busy; they had a backlog of work due to the rainy spring weather in the area. He said he would "fit us in" as soon as he could. One of his crews was willing to work the 4th of July. Craig showed up on time as promised and went straight to work. He did a thorough job - stripping old paint and caulking, removing weatherstripping, priming and then painting. He worked diligently taking few breaks..well he did say hello to our dog. We are very pleased with the finished product. This is why one should hire a professional to get a professionally looking job! We plan to use Kennedy Painting in our new home.

Prior to hiring Kennedy Painting I had read the reviews on Angie's list which persuaded me to seek them through. I'm the analytical type so I had many estimates and familiarized myself to the $ cost avg of the job. I liked Kennedy the most because they not only provided a competitive painting estimate, but in addition installed the trim/moulding which a lot of the painting outfits outsourced this portion out to a referred carpenter. I requested Craig Smith as my team leader and couldn't have been more pleased! He's everything the reviews said he is. He is very open and communicates well. His attitude assured me that quality was his priority. Him and Mitch as not only exceptional painters, but hold a carpentry skill as well. Laying out and hanging moudling on a 20-ft ceiling isn't as easy as it seems, but they made it look simple and am very pleased with the results! I was also very critical about schedule. Craig knew this and kept to his promise by finishing all tasks/jobs on time and to superior quality. I will definitely be request him again for future projects and recommend him and his crew to everyone.

Kennedy painting did three preliminary visits to our house discuss the project and select the paint colors, and to give the crew chief the opportunity to discuss the project in detail with us. A team of two spent two full days and part of a third prepping the area, moving furniture, applying the paint, and cleaining up including a full vacuum of the floors in the area. I was very impressed with their attention to detail and desire for perfection. The project went very well and when they were done the area was perfect. They even smoothed out dry wall seams that previously were protruding noticeably. I will definitely use Kennedy Painting in the future and recommend them to others.

If I could give this company an A+ I would. I consider myself a perfectionist and was worried about outsourcing painting to anyone. I made a call and they quickly sent out an estimator. Amy gave me a quick and fair estimate and a committed timeline. She came back and we did a color consultation in less than 30 minutes. She was well prepared and had good ideas. Shortly after Eric came out to do a walk-through and confirm the colors. He started a day early and the entire crew was amazing. The house is perfect. The did so much more than I evern anticpated. During one of our conversations Eric said that he treats my home no different than his own and it is obvious he was telling the truth. He was always accessible, ready to help in any way asked of him and his crew. Honestly, he was joy to work with and made a very stressful time very calm. When they finished they were so specific about the clean up and the way they left the house. I couldn't be happier.
