Description of Work: I bought my own garbage disposal. Work to be done: replace garbage disposal with the one I bought separately. $65 for estimate, a plumber arrived on time took quick look under the sink and pulled a picture of different tiers of service to install the disposal. 1- if he already knew how much the service was, why is there an estimate and what is the $65 for? 2- the cheapest tier of service to instal my OWN garbage disposal is $450!!!!! No joke. Their installation tiers go to over $1000 to install a garbage disposal (plus the disposal itself).. the $450 service comes with a whopping 30 day labor warranty lol I have used the company before and they were ok, they were my first number to call when I needed a plumber. After this experience, I don’t think I’ll be calling them anymore, will look somewhere else. I paid $65 for a guy to show me a picture on their phone smh

+ -1 moreJim showed up on time and immediately went to work. Was completely professional and did a great job on the new toilet install and added the shutoff line i needed. He inspected the leaking toilet and suggested it be rebuilt which i completely supported as i've had it "repaired" twice in the past and it continued to leak. He showed me the bad wax seal on that toilet and reanchored to the floor. He also looked at my kitchen sink where there had been a musty odor for more than a year and cleaned the trap which had a great deal of sludge built up in it. I was extremely pleased with the level of service-as noted in other reviews they had everything on the truck they needed. I have several more plumbing projects ahead and plany to call on Tony's services again.

Jim was efficient, finished the job in a short period of time and we thought the cost of the job was more than fair! We definitely will call this company again when we need plumbing repairs.
Description of Work: The sump pump pipe that drains the water out to the front of our house was broken and needed to be replaced below ground level.

+ -1 moreTony came out the same day I called him to give me an estimate. His plumber showed up on the day we had scheduled for the repair, on-time, and went to work right away. The plumber was very helpful in explaining what was going on. Also took the time to look at a couple of other small issues in my other bathroom. Really nice guy. I did not even have to pay at the time of service. Tony billed me later online for the amount promised. Flawless transaction and very convenient payment system. Pleasure to work with Tony and his crew. I would highly recommend their services.
Description of Work: Replaced the guts of a worn out shower/tub faucet. The faucet was sticking and wouldn't function properly. Instead of a new fixture, Tony recommended that I just replace the cartridge. Probably saved me a couple hundred bucks, at least.

+ -1 moretony and i communicated via e-mail to try to resolve some things ahead of time. the work man was very nice and worked steadily and efficiently. he was able to say we didn't need a new sump pump or bathroom sink drain. and he really investigated the shower problem and knew what to do.
Description of Work: they checked the functioning of our sump pump. it was fine. they replaced our garbage disposal that we had bought. they checked a bathroom sink that was draining slowly. And, they fixed the water pressure in our master shower. we've lived here 12 years with very weak water pressure there and they were the ones to figure out the problem and fix it!!! Yea!!

+ -1 moreThey sent to plumbers over and knocked out the job in less than 6 hours so the water was turned off for only a short period. Plumbers are nice professional guys. I've used them in the past for small jobs and have always been pleased.
Description of Work: Replaced just over 200 feet of galvanized pipe in the basement with copper. Replaced old pressure/flow regulator and installed new shutoffs in several places.

I described the condition it was in, and he recommended I buy a good quality economical disposer from Home Depot as he could not sell it to me cheaper than HD. We set up an appointment for the next day. The workman was very careful to cover his shoes so he could walk through the house. The job took approximately an hour to complete.

+ -1 moreI submitted the request in the middle of the night and he got back to us the next day by phone. I believe he came out the day after that, which I thought was very quick. I recall that they notified us but were a little behind schedule. They were very clean and did the job well - it has held up so far. The price was competitive and better than everybody else. They billed us electronically over email and we paid the bill online - it was smooth-sailing. I would use them in the future, if necessary.
Description of Work: We had a leak in a drain pipe below one of our showers in between our main floor and our basement, and so we used Tony Lamartina Plumbing to repair that.

They responded promptly to my service request submitted over the Internet. They talked to me over the phone and suggested actions that I might make at home to avoid any charges. Those didn't work so they came out the next day. They arrived on time. Found the problem quickly and explained it to me. They charged me a reasonable fee, including the Angie's List coupon. I would gladly call them again for another plumbing problem.

The plumber arrived early, performed the project quickly and left my house clean and in order. The work was very well done and I feel like I got a good value. They came prepared, so even the faucet replacement, which was a last-minute request, was done. If I could give higher than an A for punctuality, I would. Tony arrived early for the estimate. And plumber arrived early for the appointment. I appreciated that so much! Made it easier to start my day -- take the baby to daycare, get to work, etc.
Description of Work: LaMartina replaced the galvanized pipes for our hot water with copper. They also replaced an old faucet in our laundry room.

Description of Work: LaMartina plumbing re-did the majority of plumbing in the house my husband and i bought. The original plumbing was done without proper planning and was not up to code. Mr. LaMartina obtained the appropriate permits and inspections required for the job. All the work was done on schedule and without many delays. The men on Mr. Lamartina's team were extremely professional and polite. Mr. LaMartina went out of his way on many occasions to help us out. He was easy to reach via phone and we loved his personality.

Was sent a bill a week or so later which included all the discounts afforded by use of Angie's List. Couldn't be happier.
Description of Work: Removed a water softener (and took it away). Restored pipes to original conformation, quickly and cleanly. Good job. Will hire again if needed.

+ -1 moreI got him from Angie's List and he did a really good job. They were prompt. The guy knew what he was doing and he was clean. He cleaned up everything after the job. He did the job very quickly and we were really pleased with him. The best thing was that they had everything they needed, in their truck and I have never seen any plumbing company having that. Usually if they had to get a new part they would go buy it and fix it the next day, but he had everything in his truck. The price too was very reasonable.
Description of Work: Tony Lamartina Plumbing Co. installed two new American standard toilets and a valve that didn t turn on or off in one bathroom. I didn't have enough water pressure in the sink and in my bathroom, which they fixed.

Description of Work: Ran snake down kitchen drain & cleanout access in basement, & ran into clay/mud. Plumber came to dig up pipe in basement floor. Replaced about 7 feet of pipe in floor & about 8 feet of vertical pipe to kitchen sink. Then drain guy came back & ran snake again. Drain cleared. Only problem was that garage door leading into basement scraped newly replaced pipe. LaMartina sent plumber again to move vertical pipe out of the way of garage door. Now everything is working perfectly.
