These were actually two seperate visits by Tony's plumbers. They were professional, had all the necessary tools and parts handy, were extremely quick (30 minutes one visit and 15 minutes on the second visit) and the work was outstanding. I plan to use them again in the future.

It was flawless. I think I've said it all in the statement above.

The job went very well. They were timely, responsible, professional, and meticulous when performing the work. They were courteous and thoughtful as well. I would highly recommend them to others.

We called for leaky dishwasher, they answered (1/2 hour before they opened) and very thoughtfully recommended someone else to call.

I emailed Tony late in the morning on a Thursday requesting a Friday morning visit. Within a couple of hours I had a response that someone would be to my house at 8:00AM Friday. Jim arrived within a few minutes of 8:00. I had a leaking toilet which Jim was able to quickly assess and determine the fix would be no problem. I also had no water running in the powder room sink and a new faucet to install. I have a pretty old house and the powder room is extremely small. Jim was perfectly honest about what it might take to fix the faucet. (He had to replace some pieces of pipe due to corrosion.) The work was completed in a timely fashion and Jim left the work area very neat. He explained to me what he was doing and would need to do during the whole process as well as every detail of the bill. Without the Angie's List discount, the bill might have been a little steep, but the work was worth it. I will definitely use them again for any plumbing needs.

Approximately midday, my husband noticed evidence of water leakage in ceiling of basement below utility room bathroom. He had to go out of town. I called Plumbing Co. Received return call approximately 30-45 minutes later. Was told someone could come over. Said I had to leave house by 3 pm. Said someone would be over in 1/2 hr. Did not arrive for almost an hour. Assumed plumber would just assess damage and then return another day, but he did entire job. I was late for my function; however, the plumber was very professional. Did check the floor/basement ceiling carefully and determined no significant damage. Did a very nice replacement job. Cleaned up nicely afterwards. Only complaint was the timing. Perhaps I should have been more persistent in scheduling at another time.

The initial call was interesting because it did not go through to a person right away. A message asks the caller to enter some information, ph number or name and then Tony decides whether to take the call or not. He got the plumber out there quickly and he corrected a couple of holdover problems I had from a home restoration. He was also very responsive via email with questions about the bill. However, I was not happy because there appearantly is a $40 service charge he gets simply for showing up. I would not have minded that if he had mentioned this going in or had credited it to the work that was done. He did niether. Also, I rent this house to someone and do not live in Maplewood so I had no idea what was really going on at the house, On my initial call, I told Tony what the tenant said and expressed the fact that I was not onsite. I would have hoped that when he found several things wrong at the house he would have contacted me to let me know what he found and what it would cost to repair. But I did not ask him to do that in advance so caveat emptor. The lack of communication and the service fee leads me to this negative review. I can not speak for the other work, but the drain I specifically asked him to look at is still draining slowly, and my tenant reports material backing up out of that drain when he uses a plunger. I will look for a new plumber to rectify the drain issue.

I contacted Tony on a Sunday because I had a leak from a ceiling in the basement bathroom. He emailed me same day and sent someone out the next day. Mike was careful not to cut the ceiling before he did investigative work. When we finally cut the ceiling we were able to determine the leak was coming from the exhaust fan and not a plumbing issue. Since he was here I asked him to re-plumb the garbage disposal because it was backing up into my 2nd sink. He did that. He was very professional. I am using this company again to install 4 faucets and a shower head.

He did a great job. He was in and out. He had everything he needed.

The overall experience was great. The cost seemed high, but fair after learning what was involved.

We hired LaMartina because we had used them before for a plumbing issue at a rental unit and were happy with the results. Unfortunately they brought in a subcontractor who did not do a complete job, and the backup recurred the next weekend. LaMartina does not have weekend emergency servcices so we had to get another plumber to finish the job on the weekend. When I explained to Tony what had happened, he told me not to pay his bill, which was the kind of customer service I appreciate. BECAUSE OF HOW HE RESPONDED, I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND LAMARTINA AND WILL USE THEM AGAIN FOR GENERAL PLUMBING NEEDS.

No problems. Very fast. Spoke with Tony on the phone. He advised me to go to Home Depot to purchase disposal as he was not able to supply one at a cheaper price. Technician arrived on time and performed work well and demonstrated operation of the new equipment.

We love them! We had an emergency. It went very well. They had a quick turn-around time, clean. They put on booties before they entered my home. They were also very personable. I've used them a couple of times.

Everything was exactly as he said it would be.

Tony LaMartina was extremely professional, giving me helpful, expert advise. Running water from the tub and shower directly into tub without hitting walls led him to suspect I had a caulking problem instead of a leaking pipe. He saved me a lot of money by discussing this over the phone, and then he even referred me to professionals who could help with plaster and painting work. Thank you, Tony! I will definitely use your services when needed in future.

Plumber was very professional throughout the entire process. The new and repaired fixtures are now working exactly as I hoped.

This was a 5-star experience. I found LaMartina Plumbing on Angie's List. I called Tony to discuss a problem with an outside hydrant that flooded a portion of our basement when I turned it on to water plants. Tony described exactly what my problem was--I had left a garden hose connected during the winter. Tony gave me an estimate for the service and parts and said he could have a plumber at my home within a couple of hours. The plumber arrived promptly. He was courteous and professional and very understanding when he had to negotiate my barking dog and two young grandchildren. He completed the work quickly, and I no longer have water in my basement when I water my newly planted flowers. I was pleased when the invoice arrived by email later in the day. The cost was lower than anticipated. Love those Angie List coupons.

When I called to set up appointmentment I told Tony I needed to leave for work by 11:30. He said that they started work at 8 and should be able to finish on time. To my suprise they were early getting started and finished with an hour to spare before I had to go to work.

First of all, they returned our initial phone call which is more than I can say for several other plumbers. (We don't bother them again, I'm sure.) Pleasant, intelligent worker arrived on time, assessed the situation, did what needed to be done and cleaned things up. Cost less than I'd anticipated, too.

They were very professional and prompt. We were very pleased with their work from start (initial phone call and estimate) to finish (nice clean up).

Discovered a puddle of water in the basement under the water heater; traced the water back to the source and was relieved to find that it wasn't the water heater at all, just a cracked drain pipe from the kitchen. Called Tony LaMartina; it took a little while to convince the person who answered that having no functional kitchen sink was actually a problem, but he was able to schedule someone to come the next day (as opposed to the "next week" originally proposed). The plumber who showed up was polite and efficient and had no trouble with this small job.

I found Tony on Angie's List after having difficulty with another plumber to come give an estimate on the job. Tony was prompt and friendly and provided an estimate and told me that it would not exceed that amount. I did the demo work on the basement floor so everything was ready when they came. The scope of the project changed a bit; I added the two floor drains. The bill was still less than the estimate. La Martina Plumbing is timely, friendly, professional and I would absolutely recommend them without hesitation.
