I called Tony and received prompt, friendly service over the phone. He offered the customary 3-hour window for service, same-day. I had another conflict during part of that time, so Tony arranged for someone to come out right away. Paul arrived within 30 minutes, quickly diagnosed the problem, and fixed both drains within 15 minutes. In addition to the prompt service and professionalism, I did not feel taken advantage of or unfairly up-charged for any reason, and I was treated with respect. I will recommend Tony (and Paul) to anyone needing a plumber and will use him for all my future plumbing needs.

We used Jim from Tony LaMartina Plumbing on 2 different occasions to do the above mentioned work. He showed up on time, was quick, and left each work area spotless. Great plumber! Will definitely hire again.

My Lamartino returned my call within a few hours, said his drain specialist would call me which he did within another few hours. He asked me to describe the problem, suggested I try a plunger which didn't work. He initially scheduled an appointment, called back within a few hours to say he couldn't come at that time, offered to come later in the day. I said the next day was fine. He called me at 7:30AM to inquire about the status of things and then showed up an hour later as promised. He explained that drains into which air conditioner run-off empties commonly clog up because of the fine sediment that accumulates (and which he could feel by sticking his arm into the drain). He cleared the dram within a few minutes and then worked two outside drains, one of which was clear, the other one was clear up to about 80 feet. He was reluctant to continue past that point out of concern of damaging the pipe. He then spent time on the phone to obtain information for me on what I wanted to do about that. He left me with the recommendation to pour water down the basement drain once a month or so to flush away the sediment and honored the Angie's List coupon. Price was quite reasonable, $10 less than another company I called, both were about $80 less than I paid an apparently overcharging competitor for the same services 4 years ago. All in all, very courteous and highly professional service!

A half hour after the arrival window, I called and received a very prompt return call explaining that he would be arriving in a half hour, which he did. Repairs were done promptly and professionally. He showed me what had happened and advised me what to do in the future so it wouldn't happen again.

We contacted TLP based on a referral from a relative. The response time to our phone calls has always been excellent and the plumbers arrived just when they said they would. We've had simple service provided, but we've always been satisfied. I gave a B for the fact that the work was handled by a subcontractor whose manner was a bit informal, but in our experience with plumbers, we would definitely recommend TLP for a hassle-free, on-time job.

When I first had LaMartina plumbing provide a bid, they pointed out that much of the cast iron piping in the house was fine and I should not go to the trouble and cost to replace it. All the other contractors insisted it needed to come out and when I had a third party inspector looking at the property, he confirmed there was nothing wrong with the cast iron piping. This alone saved me thousands of dollars that I used to improve other areas of the house.

Called about 0800 hrs 6/6/2011 and explained problem with disposal. Scheduled for afternoon repair--bring disposal. At approximately 1435 hrs 6/6/2011 the plumber arrived, removed old disposal, installed new disposal and cleaned up . Exit about 1535 hrs.. We were very pleased with the prompt response, choice of disposal and excellent workmanship.

I found LaMartina Plumbing recommended on Angie's List and now I see why. They were responsive to the call (non-emergency) and showed up on time. A very calm young man began work as soon as I showed him the things I needed done. His truck was fully stocked and he did not have to leave the job for parts. He stayed for the agreed upon time, and I then made another appointment to complete the work (I had to purchase things for the work to continue). The work was professional, clean, and to the specifications I had requested. Would recommend them to anyone needing a reliable, efficient, professional plumber!

They were very responsive. They came within a few hours. They got it unclogged. They took some extra steps. They put on a knob on my cabinet that had fallen off. This was something they did not have to do but they were very helpful. They were clean as well.

It went fine. They didn't do any work. They just did an inspection for my insurance company to make sure everything was in working order.

Owner responded quickly and came over to give an estimate. Scheduled work quickly. Plumber was prompt, professional, did as little destruction to wall as possible AND CLEANED UP COMPLETELY. Work was done efficiently and best of all, the job came in several hundred dollars below the estimate.

The plumber did an excellent job and even corrected things we did not consider. We are not plumbers and he could have just let them go and we would have been oblivious to it as we had gotten used to the poor drain flow from the sink. So this was a bonus for us in using Tony Lamartina. The only negative was the plumber was late arriving as he was picking up supplies. I put this in here just in case they run late with you. For me I would rather have them be late and come prepared rather than have them have to go out and get parts as they need them - I have experienced with other plumbers.

Overall, the experience has been good. I think they do good work; I haven't had any problems and I've used their services about 3-4 times. I'm happy with their services.

The Tony LaMartina plumbing rep. came in the specified window of time the first day to check out a leak in the master bath shower. He was courteous, professional, and kind. It's an older shower that had been leaking for some time. He found the source of the leak, and because I was considering having the whole bathroom redone, recommended that I have the whole valve and shower head replaced after (potentially) a shower insert had been picked out and ready to install. So I just had him cap the shower temporarily so it wasn't leaking hot water. The rep also unclogged my garbage disposal which hadn't been working for a couple of months. He also recommended that pipes underneath the kitchen sink needed to be replaced because they were not draining properly. I made an appointment to have this done the following week. On the second appointment the rep was on time, had the right parts, and finished the work swiftly. Because the basement sink was overflowing when the kitchen sink was emptied (an ongoing problem that had been coming and going for years), he recommended having the stack that drains both sinks snaked and clogged. He called a co-worker who was able to come over later the same day and perform that work. The co-worker was also professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. In the meantime I had received an estimate for remodeling my master bathroom, which was beyond my means at the time. I mentioned this to the plumber who said that he could go ahead and replace the valve and showerhead, restoring my shower for use until I can get the remodeling done. I would highly recommend Tony LaMartina Plumbing and plan to use them again .

My wife was the one that let them in. I thought they were fine. They did the job. They removed the old water heater. The only thing they didn't do was schedule the inspections, we had to do that ourselves.

These repairs were made on separate occasions. Each time, the workers were very prompt, professional, did a meticulous job, and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. This is easily the best plumbing company that I have dealt with during my 30+ years of home ownership. I would definitely use it again and would highly recommend it to any of my friends. I was particularly happy with the replacement of the highly corroded influent pipe section and shut-off valve. Other plumbers stated that due to the condition of the pipe section, it would likely be necessary to replace the piping all the to the main (at an estimated cost of $2500 - $4000). This was "problematic" to me since Missouri-American stated that the influent pipe wasn't leaking, which meant that I didn't qualify for the St. Louis County program for such repairs. In essence, Tony Lamartina's method of making this repair saved me a minimum of $2200, and amazingly, the invoice was $100 less than his original estimate. Obviously I was very, very pleased.
