He arrived on time, scoped out the situation, did everything he had to do, gave me a quick tour of the new water heater and the paperwork, and left. He was very pleasant and courteous as well as knowledgeable and competent.

He was a nice person to talk to when answering the question. They were prompt, did some other stuff, and the job was done well.

They returned my call and set up a convenient time for the following Monday first appointment. The plumber was punctual and got right to work. He completed the services in approx 1.75 hours.

They provided excellent service! We called and got an appointment for an estimate the following day. After the estimate, the plumber came out since we were available and did the whole job in a couple of hours! We got same day service and the kitchen sink has been working just fine ever since!

We are in the middle of a DIY bathroom remodel. When we removed our old toilet we discovered that the original plastic flange had been improperly installed and was cracked. Luckily we had never had any major leaking, but small areas of the surrounding subfloor had some minor damage. We decided to bring in a professional because, after watching several YouTube videos, we learned that it can be somewhat difficult to cut/chisel a flange out and you run the risk of cracking the PVC drainpipe. In addition, we wanted advice about the subfloor and their expertise on the height of the new flange considering the new, quite thick flooring product we planned to install. In looking on Angie's List for reliable plumbers in our area, I found a coupon deal for Tony LaMartina Plumbing - $87 for a plumbing service call plus one hour of labor. I purchased the deal and they contacted me by email the same day. The scheduler was very friendly, listened to what we needed and assured me that this sounded like a fairly simple job. He was even nice enough to remind me that we had a full hour of labor coming so, if there was any time left, we could go ahead and have them seat the new toilet as well. I pointed out that we wouldn't be ready for that since we still needed to install the floor, by I appreciated the fact that he tried to help me get the most bang for my buck! Jim arrived about halfway through the 2 hour appointment window that they'd given me after having called to give me a heads up that he was about 10-15 minutes away. He was also very friendly and professional. He took a look at our situation, suggested a few different options and, after looking at our new flooring product, decided on the best fix. He cut out a piece of the drainpipe and cut/chiseled out the old flange. He installed a new section of pipe with a coupling and built up the new flange to the new floor height by inserting a ring underneath. It took him about 40 minutes, so he probably would have had time to seat the new toilet had we been ready. Instead, he spent another ten minutes or so giving me some helpful hints/suggestions about our installing the toilet ourselves. Overall the entire encounter was pleasant and handled in a professional manner. We wouldn't hesitate to use Tony LaMartina Plumbing again should we need a plumber in the future.

I spoke with Tony over the phone. He professionally diagnosed the problem based upon my limited explanation and told me what I probably needed. He sent a technician out a few days later and fixed the problem. We used the special coupon for Service call and one hour of labor. We received a bill a week later which must have been for the price of the Tool Kit. I had contacted a few plumbers by phone before I contacted Tony and they told me how complicated the procedure would be or that they couldn't do that type of work. Tony's technician completed the procedure in less than an hour. Leave it to the Pros to fix the real problems. Mr. LaMartina's company is truly professional. We now have a plumbing company we can trust for the future.I would certainly recommend the Tony LaMartina Company to all of my fellow Angie's Listers!!

I purchased an Angie’s List Big Deal for this service and they were great; they did a really good job. They came out, took care of our problems right away and they are reasonably priced. They also followed up with a lot of emails to make sure we were happy. I was pleased. The were on time and showed up when they said they would. They did the work they said they were going to. For me that's a big thing.

I called for an appointment on Tuesday and requested a Thursday (fits with my work schedule). They gave me an appointment the following week but called back the next day and advised me they could send a plumber the same week. I certainly appreciated the callback for the earlier appointment. Plumber arrived on site on time and performed repairs as noted. I felt that the quality of his assessment and his work was very good. He did repair the kitchen sink and toilet leaks and replaced damaged parts. He was not able to locate any other significant leaks and advised me to call the company back if there were any new puddles. Overall service was very good, however I was disappointed with pricing. The cost was on the high side, although typical, I presume for a plumber's rate. But the times listed on the initial invoice were incorrect...five minutes prior to the appointment and 10-15 minutes after the appointment were added on. I didn't quibble with the fudging but there is real money there. To make matters worse, I was then billed on the final invoice for another quarter hour on top of this. I did contact the company and they reviewed the time sheet and did credit back the last quarter hour. There was no apology. I would have appreciated the professionalism of accepting responsibility for the error.

So far so good with this company. We bought an old house and have had 2 toilets break down (surprise). On the second visit we wised up and asked for an inspection of the rest of the toilets. The guy was very knowledgeable about the plumbing situation. We have everything from original to somewhat new. He was always on time, courteous, quickly assessed the problem and got to work. He wore booties over his shoes, which I really appreciate. And as we discussed the condition of each toilet, he was mindful of the cost and what needed immediate attention vs. what could wait. I hate to jinx myself, but I'm sure we'll be calling again!

We started the work ourselves, dug a little, got two sections of drain, then called the plumber to dig out the rest and connect the pipe. It worked out very well because we used a coupon which we had purchase previously.

The service I received from Tony LaMartina Plumbing Company, Inc. went really well. He was prompt, nice and professional. He's easy to talk to. I was very happy. The owner called to apologize because he had sent his technician to the wrong address. Then he started talking about his two week baby at home. So, he was personal with me. We were establishing a little bit of a rapport and I've always liked that. I always appreciate that. I said to him not to worry about it. I know how messed up his sleep must be. So, it was no issue, because this was not an urgent thing. I have two bathrooms. I told him it's not urgent, but he still made it a priority. I've had no issues with it since he's unclogged it.

They were very good, very professional and very honest.

A combination of ineptness and tardiness plagued this event. On top of that I prefer to pay by check as soon as the job is done. Their workmen will not take checks. Bills that are emailed to me often had to be altered due to inconsistent record keeping. I had to keep calling the office to talk the owner. The first visit went fairly smoothly. The plumber came to the house to see why our toilet that was a little over a year old was not filling appropriately. He adjusted it. He told me that we would need a new part soon. I told him to order it. He was polite ,but he was a little late for his appointment time. I was also told to wait to pay as they need to figure out the costs . To be fair ,the young man also repaired an outdoor faucet that was leaking ,too. He called that the part was in. I was called that the part was in so I made an appointment for next Monday. I had to reschedule it for Wednesday as the part had not come in as they thought. I was also told I needed to pay for their last visit . I wanted to pay by check and not through a computer pay site. I mailed the check in the day they were supposed to install the new part. I spoke to the owner about my mailing the check . It is the way we pay.It was then suggested I get the $87 special on Internet to cover part of labor.part installation. I did that through Angie's List. On Wednesday the part still had not arrived yet and plumber was waiting For UPS delivery. Three to four hours later than original appointment the The repair guy shows up. Installs it . Again they refuse my giving them a check. I later get an Internet bill that is not correct . I have to call to correct it. But I get a bill including the $87 special that is over $325 That was over five hundred dollars for this company for everything. I will give them one compliment . They were polite. About a day or so later I noticed that there is water leaking from the toilet. Evidently it had been doing that all night. The water leaked under the wood Boards of the floor in the guest bathroom and warped the wood. The floor Had been installed one year ago and it was new and flat before their last visit. I called them again to find out why it was leaking ,and hopefully stop the leak. They said They would be there at 3:30 pm.. I told them to be there at that time as my husband hates having Repair guys during dinner. The guy does not show up till 6:30-6:45 pm. Not only that he has no idea why it was leaking. He decided to replace some small part with a metal replacement part just in case. They were smart enough not to charge me for that visit. My husband was furious that they made us wait and that they came during dinner hour. The reason I took so long to reply to Angie's List was I had to calm down in order to write a complete review . And secondly I was trying to decide whether I should make them responsible for the cost of repairing our floor. I feel that high prices ,strange payment procedures, tardiness , inept repair work all led to a very poor review. That surprised me as they were listed as one of your A rated plumbers.

It was a simple fix. The guy was really nice. They were very prompt and answered some additional plumbing questions for me around the house. The office staff was very professional.

They were absolutely great. They were very responsive and were able to come on the day that worked for me. They spent a full hour looking for a gas leak that the gas company said we had. There was no gas leak, which the gas company ended up verifying. They tried everything looking for the leak though. The owner even came out. I was very impressed with them.

They were awesome! My lower level had water backing up from the drain and the toilet overflowed in the downstairs bathroom as a result of the main stack being clogged. I called and they sent someone out within an hour. He assessed the problem, cleared out the main stack, and made sure everything was working before he left. I would definitely call them next time I need a plumber.

The people that did the work were just great. The work was done quickly and well. There was no wasted time and they cleaned everything up when they were done. Easy folks to work with and likeable. Jim, their plumber did his usual good job and everything went well. We will certainly use them for any future plumbing work.

It went very well. He gave very good explanation on what he did and why he did it. He also gave recommendation on what we need to do next. He was courteous, very clean-cut and professional.

Plumber came on time and worked in a timely manner, discovered the problem with the leak and did all the repairs, Works great.

The sales manager was courteous and responsive. We used the promotion of $87 for service call plus one hour labor. The technician was on time (appointment was 2 to 4 and he showed up at 2) and professional. He was able to identify the issues and made the appropriate recommendations and seemed to perform the job accordingly. We have yet to use the hoses to test it out.
