The problem was very low flow from the shower faucet, but the cause of it was difficult to diagnose. We had already called Rotorooter who charged us $400 but did not fix the problem. The LaMartina plumber checked what he could but knew the problem was complicated and that the pressure to the condo building had to be checked. Then Tony Lamartina, the owner, made a separate visit to investigate the problem, but did not charge us for that. They decided that part of the shower liner had to be cut away in order to examine the valve behind the faucet. The cause of the problem was obvious once the old valve was extracted because it was corroded and the water couldn't pass through it freely. They replaced the valve and the trim kit and used a larger chrome panel to cover the hole in the liner. The shower works great now and looks brand new. The company is a family business and all persons we worked with were very friendly but also very professional. They have an efficient appointment system by email which is easy to use. I would totally recommend them not only for their skill and professionalism but also for their reliability and integrity.

This week we decided enough was enough. No longer would my wife let the water run in the shower for nearly two minutes or more each and every morning waiting for the water to be warm enough for comfort. No more wasting water or gas. We requested bids form three contractors, two we've used previously (and will continue to use) and Tony LaMartina Plumbing thanks to their exceptional Angie's List ratings. Because of the big deal they were running on a 50-gallon hot water heater and install, their bid came in the lowest (though not by a large amount) and they were able to fit us in their schedule the soonest. They had me on the schedule before I even purchased the big deal. The plumber was on time for the install and the process took about 4 hours because of the work needed to right-size the gas line to the new (and larger, went from a 40 to a 50 gallon) and the installation of a shut off valve to replace the existing one that didn't work. Everything went great and we're already enjoying the benefits of a new, larger, and more efficient hot water heater.

Every detail from the first call to the install of the new part was handled in an excellent manner.

They were very nice. The bill did come out a lot higher than we thought it would be. The communication was off as the technician estimated under pressure that it would be about $380.00 to $400.00 for the repair. He said that they do not like to give pricing on the job and they send the bills after the work. They were very pleasant and thorough to work with. We were pleased with the work and we thought the price was fair that they quoted but we were surprised with the bill that they sent. The guy was at our home for about two in a half hours for the service and it was supposed to be $100.00 for each additional hour plus parts. I did speak with Mr. LaMartina and he said the technician would end his day with our service call. They diagnosed an issue with the hardware for a kitchen sink hose. They let us know to call Kohler and they should replace the part as it was an issue with the hand held piece of that. I did replace that piece eon my own.

He had to raise the toilet.

They were fairly honest and it seems like they will do a good job. I was impressed. They were responsive and came on a prescribed time. They worked with us and they were very professional.

He was very prompt and also informative. Since the service he has been keeping in touch via email to make sure we are informed of any deals or services we might need. My daughter used him as well. I would recommend him.

I purchased a 'deal' to have kitchen sink and bath tub faucets and drain repaired and get an estimate on replacing the stack. The initial work was done very efficiently and the estimate for the stack work seemed very reasonable. So hired them again for the stack work. It was done with time to spare, so Mark 'tightened up' a toilet install as well. All work done quickly and well.

I called Tony LaMartina the morning of 3/24/14 to request an appointment in unclogging a kitchen drain. Lauren was extremely helpful and informed me that I'd have someone over that day. Due to the simplicity of the job, Tony LaMartina outsourced the service to The SewerPros who informed me they would be at my home in 15 minutes. Kyle from SewerPro was very professional and timely. My only request would be for him to have cleaned up better as there were some grease marks below the kitchen sink which I ultimately had to clean up. Not a major issue though. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Tony LaMartina as well as SewerPros. The cost was very reasonable. Thanks, Ben

Great experience. Provider arrived to check out a leak in basement. Determined that leak was outside the home. Provider was kind enough to charge me for only a service call and suggested that I request the refund from Angie's List and then they will invoice me directly. They did not need to tell me this; they could have just taken the higher amount. Would most definitely use them again.

A serviceman came prompt and worked fast. He was very professional.

My water heater was leaking from the faucet on the bottom and was flooding my basement. I called Tony Lamartina Plumbing and they sent their technician the same day (within 2-3 hours of my calling) when I explained my urgency. Mike was very professional and answered all my questions patiently and fixed the leak on my water heater.

Tony's company corrected a huge mistake made by another "contractor". They were informative, made suggestions and completed the work in a timely manner. The plumbers were polite, on time and cleaned up after the job was done. We would highly recommend Tony LaMartina Plumbing for any plumbing needs.

Very well. Tony came out first to assess the issues we were having in a newly built condo. He determined they were multifaceted and wanted to take them one at a time. Mark, the service person, made three trips to completely resolve the problems; not because of anything he did incorrectly, but because Kohler neglected to send a critical replacement part. They were pleasant to have in the condo and seemed knowledgable.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was very good. There were no extra charges. I liked their punctuality and they looked at everything before they even started to let me know that it will stay within the price or it will cost more.

I was very pleased with the service I received. I got a prompt call back and an appointment they stuck to. They called me when they were about 15 minutes out so I didn't have to wait around for hours. The plumber replaced the piece that was needed and said they would send me a bill if there was any charge. It was a large brass drain assembly fitting. I was thinking it would be at least a $25 part, but was pleasantly surprised to get a bill for less than $5. I will definitely use them in the future for any plumbing issues I have in my home.

Plumber arrived early and started work. Did a great job installing the water heater and expansion tank. Very professional.

I used the big deal from Tony LaMartina Plumbing Company, Inc. I ended up paying more than the big deal. He had a lot of work to do. He charged me exactly what he said. He was perfect. I just did a major kitchen remodel and he stayed about 4 hours and did all the stuff. Everything is perfect. I would rate him 'A's across the board. I would use this provider again in the future.

This was the first time I used Tony LaMartina, but will definitely not be the last! I think I have finally found "my" plumber. I called and they were extremely responsive. The office staff (Lauren) was courteous and very helpful. She promised to send someone out that day and within a couple hours I got a call that they were on their way. The plumber explained what he was doing and why and completed the work quickly, efficiently, and neatly. Later that day, I discovered I had a clogged line and once again they came to the rescue. They contacted a drain technician who came out quickly and resolved the problem -- again quickly and neatly. Both cleaned up any mess that was made during the jobs. A week or so later I received an invoice from Tony LaMartina that covered both the plumber and drain tech services. (Since this time, the sewers in my basement backed up and, once again, Tony LaMartina contacted a drain/sewer technician on my behalf and within a few hours all was clear)
