The Wright Door

We are very impressed! These guys are so nice! They have come out to our house on three occasions- mostly for very minor issues. They are prompt, reliable, honest, and knowledge-- very hard to find in a company. They don't charge you for services they don't preform. They don't even charge you for their time, which is unheard of! Anyhow, on the last occasion our garage door was not working. Not even making a noise. We thought it was broken, and were certain we would have to spend tons on fixing it. When Wright Door came, somehow they had it working just fine in no time! They showed us how to change the sensitivity, and operate it better in the future. We would definitely recommenced this company, and when we do have an acutal problem, we will call them back in a heartbeat! Our best find on Angie's List yet!

Very impressed with Dan from the Wright Door. He came to provide the service in a timely manner. He inspected my garage door and determined that service was not needed. He offered my some general maintenance advice and went made some basic adjustments and then told me since service not needed to request a refund. Truly amazing experience this day and age when a company basically refused payment because service not needed. When I do need service, I will definitely use The Wright Door Company.

Our door, with a loud, scary screech of twisting metal, came off the tracks, bending the tracks as it came down. I thought the entire garage door system was going to have to be replaced. This occurred late in the afternoon with rain expected at any time. I called 2 other door companies who advertised emergency garage door repairs, but neither company had personnel that could respond. My husband suggested I look at Angie's List for help, which is where I found The Wright Door Co. with over 100 recommendations! Tom, with The Wright Door Co., came out just as soon as he could. He knew exactly what he was doing and soon assured me that the situation looked worse than it was - our door could be saved! Tom set about his work with the confidence of a man who has been in the business a long time. He was friendly and talkative, and happy to answer all my "how does it work" questions. He also graciously adjusted the door to seal against the frame free of charge. This was an issue we have had since we bought the house, and separate from the repairs he was called to do. I thought that was very sweet of him - and good business. My husband & I look highly upon businesses with gracious customer service such as that. The price for this emergency repair was the same as for a regular repair - AND I got a 10% military discount! I have already recommended The Wright Door Co. to a friend. And we will use them again.

I cannot say enough positive things about working with The Wright Door. In the wintertime, my garage door sticks. I knew this meant that it wasn't properly lubricated and likely needed to have the rollers replaced, so when I saw the Angie's List Big Deal for just this service, I bought it. They immediately confirmed an appointment with me, called before they came, and were totally punctual. I had 12 rollers that needed replacing, and the Big Deal only covered 10, but they took care of me anyway. The gentleman who came answered all of my questions about future maintenance and had the door working beautifully in about 30 minutes. I just wish I'd called them sooner!!! I'll definitely be having them do all of my maintenance and replace the springs when the time comes--coupon or not! GREAT COMPANY!

The technician called us to let us know when they'd arrive and made it to the house earlier than expected. We were very pleased with the service.

The service provider came on time and was very friendly. He did maintenance on my garage door and replaced the old metal rollers with much quieter nylon rollers. He was done quickly and I was very satisfied with his service. I ended up discussing the garage door at my rental house which was damaged and off the rollers. He asked if it was close by and when I said it was he offered to go over and take a look at it for free. He was able to fix the bent door with a little manipulation and had the supplies to replace one of the rollers and had that garage door working as good as new in a short amount of time. I was very grateful that he was willing to take the extra time to not only look at the broken garage door, but also fix it that same day. I would definitely recommend the Wright Door to anyone.

He was on time and took care of the problem within an hour. He was also very nice, answered all the questions I had, and was not pushy. In addition, he was very professional and knowledgeable in his field.

We bought a Angie's List Big Deal Coupon on Thursday from The Wright Door company and Tom came out to our house Friday for a estimate and scheduled for Monday to have a whole new garage door installed and a opener. Very prompt service! We are so pleased!

I had a garage door that was jamming and acting erratic. The service tech checked the entire door and spotted the trouble. He replaced faulty parts and had the door working like new. He also gave me some advice for maintenance and told me what I could expect within a few years and some options that I should consider if I should decide to replace the door. Very knowledgeable and helpful, never pushy. I will certainly use them again.

The installer arrived on time and quickly got the job done, He was very courteous and polite, Was willing to answer all my husband's questions and was knowledgable about the product. We have had no problems with our garage door since it was installed and are very happy with everything. Fell like we got a great deal!

The service person came right away. He was polite, fixed it, showed me how to take care of it myself in the future, and didn't try to sell me on extra services. I would definitely use them again if I have garage door needs.

My husband actually dealt with this appointment. I think the technician replaced the rollers and lubricated things and tightened belts and such. My husband was very, very pleased with the appointment. The garage door is much, much quieter and smoother. We're very happy with the results. He also suggested that we get special light bulbs for the garage door opener (we were using CFM fluorescent bulbs). He told us they could interfere with the frequency on our remotes, which had been causing us a little trouble. We replaced those bulbs and now the remotes work great again--I had never heard of such a thing. (We learned our lesson about garaged door maintenance several years ago. We had a heavy wooden garage door with windows. Beautiful, but heavy. Something happened with the belt or the rollers and one side pulled and the other didn't. It twisted the door, shattering the windows and breaking the wood and glass onto both of our cars. Fortunately, it didn't do any real damage aside from the door itself. A tune-up would've probably avoided that whole scary incident. Thank goodness our children were outside and not in the garage when it happened. Very loud and scary.) I'm glad we had this tune-up done instead of waiting for something to go wrong. We're totally pleased with the outcome and very much appreciate the tip about the lightbulbs--we probably would've wasted money buying new remotes, which are expensive.

I called to make an appointment. He asked what was wrong and then proceeded to walk me thru how I could fix the problem myself in about 2 minutes. Very professional and honest. Will definitely use Wright in the future and recommend them.

This company was easy as pie to deal with. The repairman showed up on time, amazingly enough. There was no silly "four hour window" to sit around and twiddle my thumb waiting for the typical repair person. He got right to work, and answered all of my questions in a non-condescending fashion. He also added in some extra time to replace my remote pad without fuss. Price was very reasonable. It was actually a pleasant experience.

It turned out very well. I heard back from them right away and it was very easy to schedule an appointment. They were on time and they did what they needed to do. They didn't try to sell us anything extra that's why I like them.

I forget the person's name that came out, but he was awesome. I called after purchasing the tune up for my garage door on our rental property, he came out the next morning, arrived on time and was very knowledgeable about garage doors and openers. That particular garage door had seasonal issues, whenever it got cold it would not always work and it started doing that after our first somewhat cold day in September. It has worked every singe time since he's been here and runs much smoother and quieter. I told him then "You are my garage door guy, if I ever have a problem I know who to call." A week later our garage door quit working, ironic. I called him, he came out within minutes it was clear we needed a new opener. Made an appointment for him to come out and install it the next day. This guy knows his stuff, is affordable and no high pressure sales to buy something I don't need. I would recommend company to anyone that has any kind of issue with their garage door or garage door opener.

The tech arrived on time. He was very friendly and polite, but a little talkative. He was able to answer all my questions and fix all my issues and then some. I would recommend this company based on the work performed.

I bought the coupon on Wednesdy at 3:00 and the repair was done by 1:00 on Thursday. Dan was there when he said he would be and did an excellent job! My garage door works better than it did before it broke. Best customer service I have had in years. If you have Garage door problems this is the company to call

He did a very good job. He did a great assessment on the garage also. The original person they sent out could not figure out the problem so the owner came out to look at the door and was able to fix it. It did turn into two trips. I would recommend this company to others.

He came out the same day I called, arrived 10 minutes early, knew more about garage doors than I thought humanly possible, and was one of the nicest people I've ever met. My garage doors now run silent and smooth. And he explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. He was also a blast to talk to in general! I have never had a better home improvement experience. I almost wish something would go wrong so he'd come back out and hang out with me again ha!
