I solved the problem with his help. He saved me money and I will reciprocate in the future when the next time I need expert help.

The last time we were there, we went in for a new remote. Their prices are reasonable and they are very honest.

I called them with a description of the problem on my Sony Wega television. The receptionist took the message and said a technician would call me later that day or early the next. When the service technician called later the same day he told me the problem with the TV and that the resolution was not to repair it. He didn't want to make a service call to my house in order to charge me just to tell me he cannot get the parts to repair it.

Called for service on Thursday on a tv with no picture or sound. Suggested it may be the lamp and he agreed. He ordered lamp and scheduled service on Monday. Arrived on time and repaced lamp which fixed the problem. He then removed the back, checked interior and cleaned the cooling fans, and reset lamp timer. Overall I was very pleased with the entire transaction and would definitely use them again.

The company was very prompt in responding to my calls and questions.They were knowledgable and able to give me good guidance.The work was scheduled and completed quickly, with good results. The service providers were very polite.

I recently moved my portable tv without disconnecting the cable because the cable is very long. Unfortunately, the cable caught on something and I accidentally yanked the cable receptacle out of the tv. I took the back off of the tv to see if I could reattach it, but could see it needed soldering.I figured it would probably be cheaper to buy a new tv than to fix it, but I called Schneider and the woman I spoke with knew immediately what I did (apparently I'm not the first idiot who has done this). She quoted me $55 to fix it, which I thought was very reasonable. Took it in on Friday and she said that it'd be ready on Tue. When I told her I wouldn't be able to get back there till the following Sat, she said as long as I had the back off, if I could wait a few minutes they would fix it while I waited. I was out of there in 15 minutes with my TV fixed at a reasonable price. Thanks Schneider!

From my first call I received responsive and accurate information, including the estimate of the problem over the phone. The repair man was on time for the appointment and very professional. He made sure the tv was functioning properly and color tuned before leaving. I would recommend this firm based on my experience.

Panasonic referred me to Schneider TV for warranty service. I called Schneider TV a week before Christmas. They told me they would order parts and have the TV repaired in time for our annual Christmas Party. I told them I would not be able to help them take the tv down and they said it would be no problem they would send to people. Before they arrived they called to tell my wife what time they would be there. When they arrived they covered there shoes with booties and brought a blanket to cover the floor while they repaired my tv. They were gratious, clean, knowledgable and quick. They were in and out. The tv was repaired and the party was a success!

Last time Schneider was out my iPod dock was damaged and no longer works. I had the repairman return to look at it he said they didn't do it, argued with my fiancee who saw him place the TV on the iPod connected to the dock (my room mate also saw it), and left. I called Schneider to address the issue they said that if I brought it to them they would see if they could fix it. I do not feel that I should have to deliver the dock to have this resolved. The dock worked just fine before the tech was out, now it doesn't. I have also attempted to file a BBB complaint and Shneider denies any wrong doing. This is completely ridiculous. The did show up on time as promised but the fact that they placed a 52" television on a docked iPod and damaged it but refuse to address it in any way unless I take it to them so they can "Look at it" is unacceptable. This is their official response to the BBB Complaint from them: "the tech went to the house to fix the TV. The customer states we broke the docking station while visiting his home. The only thing i can do is have him bring the MP3 player docking station to our shop, we will be happy to look at it at no charge and maybe fix it if possible. We feel this is not worth a service call and we are not assuming responsibility at this point." Apparently I am not even worth a service call to repair a device that they damaged.

Samsung offered to pay for parts and labor for my TV to be repaired & Schneider's actually came to my home to repair my TV. They were very experienced and knowledgeable. The experience was wonderful and they were very helpful.

I called early on a Monday morning and explained the situation and quickly had a technician (Rod) scheduled to come Monday afternoon. I had a good conversation with the person who answered the phone and he indicated that I should be sure to ask the technician to attempt to fix the receptacle so that it didn't get pushed back again. Rod arrived and quickly got to work--he finished in about 20 minutes. Rod said the receptacle should not be loose. He tightened it and installed the new lamp, which we had. I was surprised by the fee ($140). When I called the company to verify that this was the correct amount, I was told that they always tell potential customers the fee. If I was informed, I don't remember it; but that could be because I was so focused on writing down what I needed to talk to the technician about when he arrived, so that we wouldn't continue to have problems changing the lamp. I was also told that their company was not the most expensive. I guess I just need to accept that a TV repair technician making a house call is an expensive visit.

I found Schneider on Angie's list and was a bit concerned to use them due to the date of the last report, but I called and had the exact experience described in the year old report. Steve asked me for all the model and serial numbers and then asked me to describe what happened. He told me that he thought it was the lamp, told me I could avoid a $140 service charge and he walked me through removing the bulb and bringing it to him for the replacement bulb. I went to his shop, which is like a warehouse and not a store front. I dealt with his daughter who is just as knowledgeable and professional as he is. They gave me specific instructions when inserting the lamp (i.e. don't touch the lamp with your fingers, place the cover on bottom first to get the switch in properly). I got my new lamp and was told if I had any questions to call them. I inserted the lamp, tightened one screw, found the switch and replaced the back panel properly. The TV works great and it was a very easy experience. The only downfall was they gave me too much info, now I know that the TV which is only 5 years old is being phased out so the lamps will be harder to get 5 years down the road. They gave me advice on prices and types of TV's to purchase. They were great!! USE THEM and you will be happy!

First of all, the store is not located on Olive anymore. It's at 10423 Trenton Ave St Louis, MO 63132. This is just off Page and Ashby. I called first and was told a $40 non-refundable depost was required when the TV was dropped off, and that $40 would be credited to the cost of any repairs done. If I decided I didn't want the repair, that $40 would not be refunded. I took the TV in on a Saturday and they said based on the symptoms, it would be ready in a few days. They called on Thursday to say the TV was finished and the balance due was $55. I couldn't make it in during their regular weekday business hours, so I had to wait until the next Saturday to get the TV. I paid them, they put the TV into my car and that was it! It apparently was just a tube that need to be replaced. I'm just glad it was something that could be repaired. I was afraid that due to the age of the TV, they'd tell me it couldn't be fixed or that they don't make parts for that type of TV anymore. I thought they were very adept at what they do. It's a no-frills office...almost like a warehouse more than an office. But they are a repair shop, not a retail location, so I was fine with that. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone. I also appreciate them loading and unloading the TV into my car.

While they offered to come out and were very upfront about the charges for doing to, they suggested I could save the service call fees and easily do this myself. Went to their shop 10 mins later, they had the bulb ready. I had some issues with it properly seating which they tried to resolve over the phone. When that didn't work, I brought the bulb back and they spent 20 min working on and it worked flawlessly when I got home. Very rare these days to find a service company who talks you out of a $140.00 service call.

Schneider has closed their storefront on Olive; they are now located at Ashby and Trenton (just south of Page). I took the TV to their location and paid $40 for them to examine it. They quoted a week or less for the repair, but called the next day. I authorized the repair and picked the set up that day. Total cost was $88 (including the up-front fee. I paid another $48 when I picked the set up). They were very pleasant to deal with and the set has worked fine since.

It only took them one day to finish their work and were very courteous. They cleaned the machinery and replaced a belt. I was very glad to be able to fix an older machine rather than having to replace the whole thing.

A competent, no nonsense electronics repair shop. Its $20 to look. They are very straight up about whether its worth fixing. In this case it was another $25. Much better than booting an otherwise very good piece of equipment. Note that they are NOW at 10423 Trenton Ave (between Olive and Page, off Page almost to Lindberg. Phone is now 314-428-4800.

The shop is a complete shambles, but they evidently know what they're doing. They performed a completely satisfactory repair in short order. The unit works as though nothing bad ever happened. I would call Schneider again for any TV, VCR or DVD repair.

I CALLED SHOP 15 MINUTES AFTER SCHEDULED TIME TO SEE WHERE REPAIRMAN WAS. I WAS TOLD THAT I WAS THE 3RD STOP AND THAT HE WOULD CALL ME WITHIN THE HOUR. THEY SAID THEY NEVER GIVE OUT SPECIFIC TIMES. I WAS TOLD HE WOULD BE HERE AT NOON WHEN I MADE THE APPOINTMENT. I WOULD NOT HAVE RECORDED IT IN MY APPOINTMENT BOOK IF I KNEW I HAD TO WAIT AT HOME HALF A DAY.

IT'S GOOD THAT THEY COME OUT TO YOUR HOUSE.
