It went very well.

They did a very beautiful job. John and Alfredo, the workers that came out, were here for an hour and a half. They were very nice and cleaned up after themselves. The countertops that we had were backordered, and the woman in the office, Rema, worked with us to make sure that we knew what was going on. I would not hesitate to use this company again in the future, because of there wonderful customer service and the work that they do.

The basement kitchenette was being rebuilt and we needed new countertops for the new cabinets being installed. We contacted costco and they in turn referred us to Solid Surface Resources (SSR). They emailed us a quote based on the general contractor's sketch of the cabinet placements. The quote included pricing for four grades of granites as well as other man made materials. The contract is written in very clear terms with pricing options with sufficient descriptions. The SSR representative (Reba Green) met me at the granite showroom/wholesaler. Based on my description of the kitchenette she suggested some stones. She never attempted to steer towards more expensive stones. The same can be said for the edging choices. Within a week, a foamboard template of the granite was made by SSR. The young man who did the templating, placed the joint locations not only based on aesthetics but also so that it can be taken to basement through a narrow doorway. I met with Reba and the proprietor at their facility to finalize the layout on the previously chosen stone so that the grain flow are maintained to our preference. This was a great opportunity to let us visualize how the actual stone will look like in the kitchen and make changes as necessary. Approximately a week after, the countertop, backsplash and a base for a pass through window were installed by two men from SSR. It took them a few hours for the entire installation process. The machining details of the finished product exceeded our expectation as was the installation. This was an outstanding operation from start to finish.

They workmanship was excellent.

From start to finish, it went well. They do have a longer lead time than some other granite fabricators, but as we chose a somewhat unusual granite, we wanted to make sure we used a good company - they were highly recommended on Angie's List AND the place where we bought our granite recommended them as well. The templating was great -the guy who did it was patient in listening to all my ideas and recommending certain edges/corners. We love how the new counters look in that respect (eased edges and barely softened corners). They also were very patient and helpful as we chose our layout locations for the different parts of the counters. Geoff was our salesperson who worked with us on going over the slabs, figuring out the layout, and coordinating it all. He was terrific. There was one mistake with my install that I could have had corrected, but that would have meant changing the plumbing and cooktop installs as well, so I left it as is. In the end, I'm happy with the way it all looks - it's beautiful. Overall, the install was very very professional - clean and flat seams; no damage to the house; polite and professional behavior on the part of the crew. I would absolutely use them again if we do other counters or move to another house and do this again!

I am so dealing with them I had some issues with them. I am not disappointed with them but just some minor over sights from their part. They had not sealed the counter tops and they said it was sealed but they are trying to rectify the situation. Over all pretty good experience, good price, and their customer care I am dealing with them in trying to get things that are sealed in counter tops. They are helpful. Everything else was pretty good time wise and in their delivery and all that. I would use them in the future.

They were very accommodating. I even went there to have a look at how they were doing the cutting before they did it. They had a computerized system for the sink area, so I was impressed with that. They sent somebody to measure beforehand. The price was good.

After determining that Solid Surface and Resources was highly rated on Angie's List I called them about 9 months ago checking on what remnants they might have that we could use in our master bathroom. Kelly Stewart did a great job following up on me over time to see where we were in the process. My wife and I finally went there and selected a remnant that we obtained for a fair price. Solid Surface had some reluctance to remove the old and install they new because we had a large mirror glued to the wall over the countertop. They did not want to be responsible for damage to it. I agreed to sign a contract that removed any liability from them with regard to damaging the mirror. They indicated they would do the best they could to avoid any damage but really preferred I have the mirror removed. To do that was too expensive to have the mirror company come out twice, once to remove and once to reinstall after the new countertop was in. So I took my chance on Solid Surface being able to install the countertop without removing the mirror. The two installers were very friendly and professional. They did a great job and had no trouble with the mirror or any other aspect of the installation.

On their side they did a really nice job. We did run into a little snag with the kitchen contractor not having the cabinets perfectly level - and they didn't want to install until the cabinets were level. This was eventually resolved and the counters installed. We love the counters and would recommend their work.

They did a great job. We went to their facility and picked out out piece of granite, they came out and measured the area and installed the granite. I gave them a B for responsivenes and provessionalism because they pushed back out install date by a week without good reason. I did not make a big deal out of it at the time because it didn't effect the overall completion date on our large project. Nevertheless, I felt I was bumped without good reason.

Good. Had to call for install date because I did not hear from them in the time frame specified.

We were very happy. They were the best price. Very precise. I would recommend them.

They were very nice, thoughtful, and helpful. I went down there and they said that based on the size that I needed, I would be a good candidate for their remnant pile. I was able to find a great piece that is 44x41 and has beveled edges. They will be delivering it for me because it is so heavy. I thought their prices were reasonable, especially considering it is marble.

I read about Solid Stone Surfaces on Angie's list and then discovered that they worked with IceStone (recycled glass and concrete). I was remodeling my kitchen and wanted to be as green as I could on new materials. Kelly and Bill were wonderful to work with and team lead who developed the template for my countertop was great! I returned in search of a granite remnant to use as a table top and everyone got involved in the process! Testing the strength of the pedestal I was hoping to re-use, finding the perfect matches for wall tile and accent strip. Kelly and I even talked about new eco friendly flooring for future projects!

When I was simply considering the project, I called Solid Surface Resources after checking Angies List. Bill Behan, the owner, spoke at length with me answering my many questions, and recommended that I visit a couple of places in the area to look at the granite slabs. When I was ready to make a decision, he met me and helped me chose a gorgeous granite that went beautifully with my cabinets and flooring. At my convenience, Willie came to my home to make the templates and helped me make a few changes in the plan. Within a couple of weeks, the granite was ready to be installed. The installation took most of one day, and was completed without a hitch by Darren and Alfredo, two polite, professional, and competent guys . The next morning the plumber hooked up the sink and the project was complete. The countertops absolutely transformed my kitchen. It now has a much richer, classier look. I am thrilled with the results! And I cannot say enough about SSR and Bill Behan. He helped me every step of the way and made the project so much fun. Everyone I met throughout the process was A+.

Geoff Luegger came out to review the project promptly after my call. I got an estimate emailed in the next day and Willie was out to complete the template within a week. I got three bids for this service and found Solid Surfaces to be very competitive plus they had the best turnaround time. While they were installing the fireplace granite, I was complaining about not being able to change out my kitchen sink because I had been told by another company that it would crack the granite. The installers told me they did this kind of work and had Geoff come back out to review. They were able to remove my old sink, cut a new hole and install a bigger sink without doing any damage to my granite. Very professional, timely and pleasant. I will certainly use them again.

I "found" Solid Surface Resources when I was searching for IceStone (recycled glass and concrete) to use in a kitchen remodel. Kelly Stewart worked with me throughout the process. She and Bill Behan helped me make color decisions and when I inquired about using the same product for a new tabletop (re-using the existing Oak pedestal and 4 chairs). Kelly found a granite remnant that was PERFECT! She knew that my goal was to be as green as possible, but to stay within a budget. So the remnant met both needs!!

From estimating to ordering and installation it went perfect.

The pricing was perfect for our budget and my family loves our new countertops. I would recommend Solid Surface Resources to anyone looking for granite countertops.

Janice, my sales representative was on time, very kind, a pleasure to be around. She was very knowledgeable of the products and helped me through the whole process. I priced this company again Home Depot and Lowes and they were reasonably priced. I enjoyed the fact that I had one person I dealt with the whole time. Janice was always on time and very flexible with my schedule. I have five children and had to reschedule many times. Great experience.
