Description of Work: Our garage door opener was not working properly due to a nearby lightening strike. The power surge took out parts of the system. We were prepared to pay for installation of a new opener system, but the service technician was able to diagnose the issue, replace a couple parts, and save us some money.

Description of Work: I had one entry door with a side lite and two storm doors installed for the back door and garage door entrances. I was very happy with the install. The craftsmanship of the installer was very good. I was pleased with the whole process. The additions of the doors really upgraded the house. I would definitely use Edelen again. By the way Edelen installed a garage door for me the year before.

Description of Work: Very satisfied with Edelen Door and Window. My Lift Master garage door opener stopped working on a Sunday. I called the Edelen Company on Monday morning and was referred to a technician. I described the details of the problem with a technician and it sounded like the main circuit board was faulty. I had previously spent Sunday afternoon reading the owners manual, checking everthing I could, and doing some online troubleshooting at the Lift Master Web site. Per the technician, the cost for a service call to verify the fault and probably replace the circuit board could be about half the price of a new opener. This path would have still left me with a fairly old opener, since my opener was installed approx 13 years ago, I opted to go for a new opener. Edelen said they would contact me on Wednesday morning to identify a window of time when the technician would arrive. They called, he arrived as stated, removed the old and installed the new Lift Master opener with battery back-up in a short time. The opener works great, has all the latest features and surprisingly is much quieter than the original. The installer was an expert and the total experience was top notch.

I'VE PURCHASED FROM EDELEN AS WELL AS USED THEIR REPAIR SERVICE SEVERAL TIMES IN THE PAST AND HAVE NEVER HAD REASON TO COMPLAIN.
