They were very friendly when they were there working for me. They were very professional about the job. They showed up on time. They cleaned up everything when they were done.

They have very responsive customer service. They tried to give us solutions over the phone to try to save us some money but this was something we couldn't fix. They service people arrived on time and they performed the job in the allotted amount of time. They did not try to sell me anything or provide more service than we required. They really know what they are doing.

They did a very nice job. The product they sold us is beautiful, a steel door made to look like an old-fashioned carriage door, which blends well with our 80+ yr old home. The salesman was very helpful in identifying choices and paid attention to our budget. We got a bid from another company, and Edelen was less money for the same product. The installer was prompt (early), competent and efficient (took him less than 3 hours). We are very pleased.

Very good. Installers showed up on time, completed work in one cold, rainy day. Cleaned everything up after job was completed. We had an issue with remotes working at an acceptable distance from the doors and they came back two times to address (at no charge). The second trip they replaced the "circuit board" and we have had no issues since (3 months later). Stood by their work.

I e-mailed John Edelen about the problem and asked for an estimate. He gave me a couple of reasons for the door malfunction and explained that there was a $75 service fee, plus additional fee for parts and labor. He was very upfront about what the different scenarios might cost, and an additional fee for coming out on a Saturday. We arranged the service call through e-mails and a service tech showed up on time on Monday, March 10th. The service tech was very polite, took a few minutes to have me explain the problem and look over the situation. Fifteen minutes or so later, he told me that the door was actually too light and was having a problem getting past a certain point when descending. He said the sensors were fine and thought a thorough lubricating of the track and a few adjustments would solve the problem. Took no time and the charge was only the service fee plus an additional $5. Any problems, and all I do is have to call and they would come back on their own dime.

Called before arriving. Arrived on time. Courteous. Done in 35 minutes. Explained how to program exterior touch pad in detail and had us test it in front of him.

The spring broke on Monday night. I was able to ge the door open by assisting the opener, so it wasn't a real high priority to get fixed. I contacted Edelen on Tuesday morning, and made arrangements for the work to be done on Wednesday morning when I could work from home. The company showed up at the agreed upon time. The worker was professional, and gave me the costs for multiple options of repairs. I chose to have both springs replace, as the cost was less than having the other spring replaced individually. The worker was finished within the hour. He had also lubricated the tracks, and performed other maintenance work.

They couldn't fit us in until Wednesday (I called on Monday), but they showed up on time. Work was done quickly. Overall, a positive experience.

We had a spring break and called Edelen. We were given an appointment the following day with a 2 hour range. What blew me away was that the contractor was on time. Not only did he fix the spring, but he did it quickly, without fuss and then turned around and quickly tuned up the rest of the garage apparatus. I was so delighted I called the company to compliment the driver. They have a customer for life.

Called Edelen Door for an repair quote - and instead they walked me through over the phone how to adjust the opener myself. 5 minutes later, perfectly working door. She also advised me on what to look for and how to lubricate my door. Wow! They have made me a customer for life. They could have easily sent someone out and made $150 off of me and I would probably have posted just as glowing a review. That is fantastic customer service.

Wonderful experience altogether. I needed the job completed fairly quickly. I got a quick and fair quote. The representative knew the importance of the frame construction and suggested I wait a couple of extra days for his best framer; well worth the wait. Installation of the garage doors was flawless as far as I know, at least, and the job site was left clean as a whistle.

I was impressed with this company. Out of the four other companies I called, they were the most impressive because they had no hard sell and no confusing presentation with numerous choices. The representative just set down two window segments- one vinyl and one metal. They were very upfront and didnt try to confuse us. The installation went great and I received a follow-up call checking on my satisfaction.

I had 4 groups come out and bid. Edelyn was so easy to work with and no high pressure sales. Plus, they didn't recommend the most expensive door. They told plus and minus for several levels. The door looks great and is quiet.

Simply put, FAN-TAS-TIC! The worker was cordial and did a very good job and in a very timely fashion. He explained operation of the remote and did the final paperwork very quickly. He also showed me everything about operating the doors.

My garage door would stop when opening and closing intermittently for approximately 2 months. It finally stopped working completely and often would not go either way when stuck in the middle. I called Edelen because they had left a sticker on the garage door (it was there when I bought the house) and they were well rated on Angie's List. The service representative on the phone said he would transmit my service call to a field rep and have him call that day if time was available, otherwise set up an appointment for the next day. The field rep called two hours later and said he had a cancellation and would be available in approximately 1 hour. He arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He was polite, professional and friendly. He completed the repairs quickly and gave me advice on adjustments and maintenance if I experienced additional problems in the future. He stated that they would come back for free within 30 days and that the parts were warranted for 1 year.

Called them because garage door opener would not work. I could not get the door open to get the car out and had a doctor appointment that afternoon. They rearranged the schedule so a repairman was there just after noon. He knew immediately what was wrong and replaced the broken part.

The salesman arrived on time and explained all of our options, pricing each item individually. He left the estimate, along with extra literature - very nice, no pressure. Once we signed a contract, we arranged an install date. The installer was on time, and explained the installation process. He finished at the time he said he would. Cleaned up after himself. He also spent the time to explain the openers, programmed them, and demonstrated their use.

The first time the Technician was early, worked quickly and corrected the problem. Unfortunately, from now on I will be calling Overhead Door Co. since when another problem occurred, Edelen could not come out for 3 days! Our garage door wouldn't work and was stuck open. Edelen said they could not get someone out for three days. Well, I called Overhead and they came out the same day. Sorry, but from now on I am using Overhead.

Garage door opener working fitfully or not at all for several months. Had other company charge me $120 to fix, but fix only last 2 months. Edelen sent tech same day and he arrived 2 hours after calling. Polite, professional, friendly and capable. Unlike the other repairman, he noticed door needed adjusting and explained how and why door sensitivity needed adjusting. Showed me how and where to lubricate. Superb service call. A+

The first contact with Edelen Doors was wonderful. I met with a knowledgeable woman who was easy to talk with and not pushy. I was indecisive about styles, materials, etc. and she was very helpful without being overbearing. I chose a garage door that is becoming to my house. I was also very pleased with the person who installed the door. The garage door works beautifully and complements my house well; I am very pleased and would highly recommend this company!

Called when we realized what the problem was. They had an available technician for two days notice. Great because it is was bad weather so we were delighted to have such a quick response. The cost was reasonable. The man doing the work was pleasant and eager even in the cold. When he left I had returned in the car with the remote opener glad to get to use it, BUT!! the garage door wouldn't open.. Well, I quickly called the work number and was quickly connected to the same person who had performed the work. I explained the problem, neither remote would work nor the pad on the outside, so he asked if there was someone here who could climb a ladder. My husband was on the ladder by that time and he gave us the simple solution to code the remotes. He assured us that he would return the next day if we still had any trouble. We did not and were pleased it was so simple.

Edelen did not have a very good solution for the chimney. They wanted to make the door smaller which would have made driving a car inside very difficult.

Good overall experience, no problems or issues.
