Edelen Door & Window

Back door to garage solid and beautiful. Rolling front door not automatic shows a sometimes difficult locking mechanics. Probably needed to upgrade to different door but this is my fault not theirs since I really didn't think I wanted to go real expensive on the door. That said the door looks beautiful and given time expect the lock to work better.

They were very prompt, and friendly.

Garage door was jammed because a rock under one side had un-spooled the right pully . I had tried to fix it myself but was only making things worse. Rick, a tech that had worked at my house before, happened to be the one who showed up the very morning I called. He diagnosed the problem, straightened and re-tracked the door, and charged me the basic service charge: no padding, no selling me new parts when the old ones could be bent back into shape. This company provides high quality at a fair price.

They gave us a bid including extra for windows, left us with brochures for three different doors and a written contract. After getting other bids, we chose Edelen and modified the contract slightly over the phone. They came the next day id replaced the door. The opener (not part of the contract) had caused the damage to the original door and I needed a replacement switch. They delivered one the next day (instead of mailing it).

They just charged us for the service call and labor and didn?t even charge us for the parts. My husband called them and I think they fixed an appointment the next day. They came promptly, may be even a little earlier than they said and completed the job in half an hour. It was really a very nice experience. We would use them in future.

We called them and they showed up within 3 hours. They fixed the problem within an hour?s time, they were very fast.

Second time I have used this company to replace doors and am just as pleased this time as I was the first. Doors came at different times so when second sliding door came in they called me on my way home from work to see if they could come over earlier then install date, they had a cancellation? Wow. These folks never cease to surprise me. Of course it worked out perfectly and I love my new sliding doors and screens. Just sad it is fall now so I can't take full advantage of my new doors. Am so pleased with this company having them do 2 replacement windows in the basement. More to com.

This is a great organization. I called on Tuesday morning a little before 8am because the motor was running in the gdo, but the door wouldn't move. They took my info and said the scheduler would call me back shortly. I figured it would be at least a day before they could come out, which was fine. The scheduler called by 8:30 and John was at my door a little after 10am. He was finished in about 90 minutes. The gdo was fixed, the whole system was running much more quietly. He identified and fixed a problem we had been having for some time with the door sticking in one spot in hot weather. Almost most impressive of all, however, was that, when I asked about the age of the gdo and cost of replacement, he did NOT have a new one on his truck that he could just sell me on the spot and pop in. This means to me that he came to my house to FIX my gdo, not to sell me a new one. When we are ready to replace this ancient but servicable unit, they WILL get my business.

Easy to talk with on the phone. Easy to schedule with. Gave an accurate bid over the phone that was less than 1/2 another companies bid. The worker was on-time and polite. He did good work and gave us honest answers to our questions. He did smoke a cigarette in my garage, which I didn't like, but he did not leave the b***.

When a garage door is broken and a car is stuck inside, a quick repair is critical. Edelen did this on the same day, for a reasonable price. The technician was fast, courteous and efficient.I appreciated that he gave me all my repair options and helped me select the best one. I'd definitely use them again.

They were really good and were very quick. They were 3 people and they did a great job.

Called on Monday, garage door fixed on Tuesday. The repair man came on time, was friendly and efficient and completed the job quickly.

Overall, I couldn't be happier. I called Edelen based on reviews I saw on Angie's List. They came out immediately to give me a quote on a new door and were back out the next morning for the install. The installer showed up right on time and got to work. Within a few hours, I had a new door installed and everything was cleaned up and looking great.

They were great although not inexpensive. Arrived on time and did a great job. I love the new doors and door openers. They are quiet and smooth. Only issue is they did not clean up in the garage completely. They left a small mess. Not really much of a complaint.

Edelen was very helpful selecting the right garage door opener and was able to complete installation within a few days of the signing contract. I added the exterior keypad at the nth hour; an addition that they made simple and easy. The only hiccup in the experience was a last minute change to the installation schedule. The scheduled installer was young and clearly still learning the ins and outs of being a professional in his role. I called Edelen immediately. My frustration was handled very professionally and actions they took made it clear to me that they were committed to my satisfaction and setting clear expectations with their employee. Edelen also installed my garage door quite a few years ago. I would recommend them highly for either of these services.

Great! When we had tried to open or close our garage door, it often stopped and reversed until we pushed the control a few times so we put in a call for repair. Everyone from the receptionist to the person answering the service call to the actual technician was very polite. Although they couldn't fit us in the day I called, someone came out the next day. They called when they said they would, they arrived when they said they would, and they fixed it. The door is working very well--much quieter and more efficiently! In fixing the door, the technician noticed our wall control was difficult to trigger (something I thought I just needed to put up with), and he gave me the choice of replacing it. I'm very glad I did; it's so much easier to push now. Overall, we had a very positive experience working with this company.

Job went very well. Although the job was postponed due to weather. The door was installed on the schedule date. Everything was satisfactory except no bulb was installed in the opener, A bulb was available on the old opener.

It was wonderful. I got three estimates from Angie's List and Edelen was actually the most expensive. I eliminated one company because they don't do doors. Penny Window had misrepresented what I needed to actually complete the job, so I contracted with Edelen. They came in two groups to install the door and the windows. They did it so quickly. cleaned up behind themselves and were very professional. A spring broke on a window, so they promptly ordered a new window for us.

Exceptional experience. Made a service call appointment for broken garage door hardware. Offered same day emergency service, but wasn't needed. Received appointment for two days later. Guy was early and called ahead of time to let us know he would be early. Did the repair work quickly and efficiently. Took great care not to damage anything in our garage and cleaned up after himself before he left. Garage door works like new. So impressed with service that we are using same company for custom storm doors front and back of house.

Gave us the option of repairing all springs for $200, however we settled on just the broken one.

We called Edelen, who installed these doors about 30 years ago and who have serviced them (very occasionally) ever since at 2 p.m. yesterday with a door that wasn't able to close. They told us that they would call us between 8:30 and 9 a.m. with an arrival time. The phone call was at 8:20, the repairman arrived as they promised, and took about 30 minutes to fix things and give us a report on the overall health of the doors. We've always had reliable and rapid service from this company.

They got out here faster than any other company. It was a very easy repair and the repairman showed me what to do in case I had the problem again in the future.

They completed the work in the time frame they said they would. They have reasonable prices. They have quality materials. The workers are very friendly when they are working.

Their workmanship was fantastic. They were very professional. At no extra charge they also had fixed an issue I had with a storm door that the previous company I hired did not fix. They gave me some good suggestions in what kind of door to get and other additional suggestions that I could add to make the doors look even better. They were willing to work around what I wanted.

It went very well. They got the job done quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up after they were finished. They did the job the way that I had wanted it done, and they were very easy to work with.
