This is a great truck with well over 200,000 miles on it but it is still in excellent shape. This is my baby and this is the most money I've spent on it since I bought it, so I am very concerned about anybody who touches it, whether a car wash or dealership so I was a little apprehensive about using a "shop", however Weldon Spring Automotive came highly recommended. They quoted me a price and delivered. They were friendly and finished the prescheduled job with me in the shop within two hours. While I have a dealership do most of my engine repairs other than oil changes which I do myself, I have a service writer at the dealer who is honest about generic jobs like this that can be less expensive done elsewhere. He knows I'll be back because of his honesty. I'll be back to Weldon Springs Automotive as well. Very satisfied.

We had gotten an estimate from Firestone who said all the brakes needed replacing. We also needed the radiator drained and filled and new antifreeze. The cost was just under $700. When my husband took it to Weldon Springs the man there determined we didn't need as much done with the brakes and rotors as Firestone had said. He did what needed to be done plus he fixed the front low beam free plus the brake light free. We will definitely use him again.

For reference purposes, I am a 20 something female used to being hassled with unwanted fixes for my car and I am new to the St. Charles area and wanted to find a mechanic that I could trust with my vehicle. I had procrastinated getting service on it because of my past experiences with other mechanics. But with the weather changing rapidly to winter, I decided it was time to finally get things done. I called up with my list of tasks and was pleasantly surprised when I started listing off the items, he not only made sure he got them all but asked for details about each so they could properly be checked out. So I scheduled to drop my car off after hours on Thursday and was told they would start on it Friday morning, and would give me a call back with an estimate later Friday. In my mind, I was calculating just how expensive this was probably going to be and was anxiously awaiting to get the call. However, when he called me on Friday, not only did he tell me most of my concerns were easily fixed, but in some cases he recommended no fix at all. He also found some things that he recommended I do, but was not pressuring me to do them now. During the whole phone call, he thoroughly went through each item on my list and gave me understandable details of each ( I don't understand most car lingo). I gave him the OK to fix everything and he said my vehicle would be ready that night. When I went to pick it up, the friendliest lady was there to check me out and even gave me a goody bag to take home. I don't normally like to leave reviews, but after this experience I had to let others know that this is a place you can trust to take your vehicle and I can see why people would go here for years. Overall, this was THE BEST experience I have ever had with an auto shop and I will gladly recommend them to all of my family and friends.

I'm very happy with the service at Weldon Spring Automotive. I took my car in for an oil change & tire rotation. They were very busy but very friendly and got my car in and out in a reasonable amount of time. They noticed that one of my tires was missing the lug nut (I don't know how this would have happened except for when the tires were rotated last) and so they replaced that as well. I really like this place and will continue to take my car there. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

WSA was "on it", they found the problem (that I caused" fixed it and only charged for the service that was needed, AC service and fill and it cost less than a C note.

We spoke with Dave about the issues we were having with our van. We set an appointment for diagnosis and asked him to call me with an estimate. Dave called me on Wednesday and explained we needed a new fuel pump. He also said that they had inspected the vehicle and found some other items that needed attention. He had prepared multiple estimates one for the work that was critical and a couple of others for maintenance items. We accepted an estimate and the work that we wanted completed was done on time. When they called to tell me that we could pick up the vehicle, they told me that they had forgotten to apply our Angie's list discount to the original estimate so our price was actually 30.00 cheaper! I was very impressed with the professionalism and service of Weldon Spring Automotive and we will certainly be a return customer.

They were very courteous and professional from start to finish. They were able to schedule the repairs I needed within a couple of days after I accepted their estimate.

My daughter picked up the car and it was very dirty with grease marks all over the matts and upholstery and exterior doors. I called and the owner did tell us to bring it back in for a free detailing of the car. He did apologize and was sincere. Two weeks later the speakers stopped working and we had to bring the car back in. 3 visits to get the problem fixed.

Mitch and his employees have service all four of my vehicles for the past 10 years, and have always done excellent work. They are very fair about not charging you for work that you don't need. The quality has always been top notch.

Mitch and his team are awesome - they never (EVER) try to sell you anything you don't need - and as a young woman I always feel comfortable and secure knowing that they're not trying to up-sell me or do something that doesn't really need to be done since my knowledge of cars is fairly non-existent. They have never talked down to me or treated me like an idiot and David & Blake are always super helpful and friendly too. Great place - highly recommend. They are not open on weekends, but I always schedule in advance to get the best times for my schedule or work it in on my days off

Their prices are reasonable. They are very prompt and curtious.

I have been using them for 6 years and I like their personal service. They are fast, honest, and convenient. I don't remember how much the price was, but it was reasonable.

They do good quality work. They are trustworthy and honest. They fix only the repairs that need to be done. They get you in and out quickly. I think their prices are fairly reasonable, but definitely not the cheapest. They do have good customer service and respond to your questions too.
